The best professor I have ever had. I will always appreciate her patience and her gift of knowledge she willingly shares with her students. The class is not easy, but she makes every effort to help.

GREAT TEACHER!!! Very helpful. I took this class before with another teacher and failed but i passed with an A in Mrs. Farmers class. If you dont miss more than 2 classes, you get 2 points added to your final grade. She gives partial credit and bonus points. If you miss class you will be lost though. =)

She is best math instructor that I have ever had, and I really HATE math! She clarifies everything and writes GREAT notes on the board. She is not like the stuffy math teachers that you usually have. She is really nice, grades more than fairly, and is GREAT about breaking things down to their simplest element. TAKE HER!

Really easy class... it felt like high school math. Ms Farmer puts everything step by step on the board... and takes time out to explain and work examples if needed. She assigns homework but it is optional... and she will go over any problem you had trouble with at the beginning of class. She is also really cute... which doesn't hurt.

Ms. Farmer is really nice. She gives very clear notes which the tests come from. the tests are only 7-10 questions, but they are easy as long as you do the homework and study the notes. If you don't you will fail because they are like 20 points a piece. There is a quiz every week which I think are harder than the tests. Do the HW!

She is a great professor. She writes all the notes you need in detail on the board and she is very clear on her policies and teaching style. She does get a little confused when stupid people start asking stupid questions. But anyone would. She's great...Take her!

I took her for finite math and statistics. I am glad I don't need any more math but if I did, I would definately take her. She is WONDERFUL!!! Very easy on grading, if you go to class you will pass.

Very clear in her grading policy and tests. Writes all of her notes on the board and tests and quizzes are straight from there. Without her I would have done horrible in MA 113 and she wasnt my teacher for that class....she gives homework but its extremely helpful.

I love her class, she wrote notes on the board and assigned hw (which is not collected, but very helpful for tests if u do them) and tests come straight from there. Quizzes also very easy, ala u come to class and study a lil bit be4 lecture, u be fine. highly recommend her for any other classes.

Mrs. Farmer is the sweetest lady ever! She does a very good job at breaking down the material, and is very predictable when it comes to tests. She grades fairly and, unlike other precal teachers, she doesn't try to make it harder than it is. I took someone before and dropped, and I cant believe how much better I understand it now! Mrs. Farmer is a really good teacher. I have trouble understanding math, but she explained it in way that I could understand it. She gives partial credit on tests if it looks like you know what you're doing. She gives homework assingments that you are required to do online, so be prepared for that. Overall she's a great teacher :)

She was honestly not the easiest professor. THere are three exams, lowest is dropped and replaced with final grade. If you miss less than 2 days she will give extra points on final grade. Test do not contain all that she tells you to study. You must study everything w/i the test period. GO TO CLASS, DO HOMEWORK, AND STUDY AND YOU SHOULD DO WELL.

The Class is easy as long as you put in effort. She does expect you to understand the material but she has a great way of teaching it. She actually write the notes in an organized way on the board while she teaches. Very Easy Class you just have to try.

She replaced a professor and started mid semester. She is really easy to undersatnd. Very organized and wants you to understand the material. Homework was not taken up but quizes came straight from it. Take her if you are not good at math, she helped out a lot!

Not only am I horrible at math, but I hate it. I took another professor a previous semester and had to drop the class. I took Ms. Farmer this semester and passed with an A. She is extremely nice and helpful. You have to do homework, go to class and pay attention. She gives bonus points and points for going to class. I definitely recommend her.

If you are not good at math this is the teacher to take! The homework is online and you can redo it until the deadline to make as high as possible. She also gives a study guide before each test. Great teacher!

She was a wonderful teacher and made it very simple to learn. It was a half online and half in class. 3 days a week in class and a lab. All your homework is online and your quiz's too. But you would also have quizzes in class (maybe 4) and ALL test are in class. I would recommend her to anyone!! I made an A in her class. (Fall 2011).

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE ANYONE ELSE FOR THIS CLASS !! She's the best esp compared to the horror stories i've heard from other teachers teaching this. Her notes are great, straightforward to the point. Only tests on what she writes on board. You will pass with an A if you come to class and do all your homework. She makes it extremely hard to fail.

Best mathematics teacher I have ever encountered to date. Just read below. If you cannot handle this teacher, college is not the place for you. Test are multiple choice with 1-3 free response which only entail showing your work. Too easy. Do not "need" the book. just the online key code for homework. I will take her again if I can.

She is the most amazing math teacher I have EVER had. Super helpful... difficult subject but she makes sure you can keep up. a lot of notes that you have to copy off the board but Very helpful when it comes to quizzes and exams!

Awesome teacher. She provides examples for every lesson and explains very clearly. I would advise people to attend class because when you miss a lesson, it really makes a difference in the understanding. Her study guides are just like the exams, with different forms and number obviously. The homework is easy and really makes an impact on grades.

SHE IS VERY VERY HELPFUL i am strong in math but this class is easy her test are a little tricky and she is a little picky at times (ex. leave a sq root sign off and she will deduct a point out of say 8 from the problem) I made a 98 on my first exam and a 86.5 on the 2nd (2nd is way harder) quizzes can hurt u if you miss class.. finished with an A

Took Ms. Farmer for MA 112 and was not disappointed. Concepts can be challenging and tough but she makes things so much easier. Not to say you can go through without studying. Stay up with your homework because pop quizzes are pretty much same stuff! Definitely take!

This was my last math class in college hallelujah! Very helpful teacher. Willing to meet with you even outside of office hours. Take notes she writes lots of them on the board. Drops lowest quiz and homework grade that really helped me out.

She doesn't smile often and has a certain spot on the ceiling that she likes to look at, but her tests, lectures and answers to questions are clear cut. She has very neat handwriting.

She gives practice tests before each exam, then gives basically the same problems on the tests (20 questions). Homework assignments are short. She is super nice!

Mrs. Farmer is an amazing professor. She is very clear when teaching and will help you in anyway she can. She drops your lowest test grade, quiz, and homework assignments. Just go to class! If you are not there, you will miss a ton. You can tell her cares about her students. Wish other math professors were like her.

TAKE THIS CLASS! If you need a stats credit, then take this class. Mrs. Farmer isn't the most interesting professor but her class is easy. As long as you show up and pay attention, you'll pass. She has "group quizzes" where you get in a group for an assignment and its a quiz grade (so easy A). Gives hardly any homework.

TAKE THIS CLASS. It's pretty easy compared to all the other classes I've taken. She lets you know definitions for the exam and gives you the formulas. One drop test, quiz, and group project (just a couple problems in class to do). Easy A as long as you show up and try. I've got a 100 in there.

Farmer was such a great professor! Her lectures were never boring and always helpful. The homework was never too long, and her tests were super easy. She gives 2 bonus points if you don't miss more than 2 classes. I never used my book, I mostly relied on the practice tests she gave to help me study for tests.

Mrs. Farmer makes math not so hard. As long as you are trying and doing work their is no way you can't have a A or B. Excellent pre-cal teacher!

I personally hate math but Dr. Farmer could easily break down hard concepts and help me understand them. Classes are spent taking notes down from the examples she works on the board. Gives lots of extra credit opportunities. The pacing of the class was just perfect and never gave me any trouble. If you're bad at math take her, you won't regret it!

She is very willing to work with you. There's a lot of homework online and you should try to do it. Doing the problems left me with A's in the exams and quizzes but if I used sites like Mathway to do homework, I wouldn't remember or understand the material for the test.

LOTS OF HW!!! Tbh, this was the only downside of this course. Be prepared to spend hours completing assignments and getting frustrated. HOWEVER, she teaches extremely well and wants you to use stat crunch. It will save you so much time. After 1st exam, she allows you to have a notecard with whatever you want on it. Easy A if you do the work.

They say shes the best of the department. I personally didnt have trouble in the class, but she was always there for others if they needed help.

Very good instructor! She is very soft-spoken and very caring. She will stay after class to answer questions you may have as well as during her office hours. Completing homework without using notes was recommended and helped me greatly! Utilize the "Similar Questions" button! I would definitely take her again!

One of my favorite professors. She's super sweet and loves to teach. She doesn't penalize for not coming to class, but she gives bonus points for attending, along with other bonus opportunities. I found her lectures to be clear and to the point. There is a good amount of homework, but that's to be expected with a math class and it didn't take long.

While Prof. Farmer does give a lot of homework, it is to make sure that you understand the material. She will answer any question you may have and responds to emails quickly. If you don't understand something, she will work out several problems to make sure you understand them.

Mrs. Farmer is very sweet! She was a great professor. My only con about her class but I'm sure it's for all math classes is you've got to have an 85 on the practice exam before the real one would open. I wound up withdrawing because I got an 83 on the practice and missed my first exam. Tests carry a lot of weight! I would take her again.

I took AP Statistics and did not understand a single thing that was taught, but this professor is a GAME CHANGER! Loved her. I do gotta say I underestimated her first exam and ended up from an A to a C, but after that I kept practicing and ended up with a 98 in her class.

I took this class with its co-requisite (MTH100) so it was double the work! Professor Farmer did an amazing job breaking down the material throughout both of these courses. Even though attendance isn't mandatory, you will not pass if you don't have anyone to send you notes! Ask questions and attend office hours if your schedule allows.

10000/10. I took ma112 with mth100 and it was a heavy course load but she made the classes easy! She is willing to help and goes over everything in class. She does not mind answer questions. Attendance does not matter but if you go to class you will have a better understanding.

The prof was nice and will give helpful feedback when asked. There is a quiz every week w/lockdown and lots of homework. 3 exams and a final. It was a super easy course but after the 6th week it got harder w/more work. If you are a dedicated student who will take out 3-4 hours a week after the 6th week for this course, you should be fine.

Farmer prepares her students very well for an online course. She also sends emails weekly with reminders of what is expected. Be prepared to work every week on homework assignments and a weekly quiz. The course seems easy at first but do not be FOOLED!! This class is tough and you cannot do things last minute. Watch her lectures and take notes.

Stats is going to take some time. Her lectures are at least around 2 1/2 hours week. Some of the homework takes forever but you have unlimited chances per question. Three attempts on each quiz so that is helpful. Practice exams consist of similar questions on exams but there are 50+ on them, so is it really worth it? Good professor but takes time.

This is the best math teacher you will ever have. She is amazing at explaining the concepts and will help you when you ask her. I also took her for MTH 112 at the same time as MTH 100 and she made both just as easy as the other. Her grading and dropping are amazing. Her practice exams help you with the real exams so much. I would highly recommend.

Professor Farmer was awesome, her lectures have everything you need to know in order to succeed in this class. So, if you show up you will do fine. You will have paper notes to fill out during class(not collected) and like 3/4 hw assignments per week and then a quiz at the end of the week and later a test every 3ish chapters. Very manageable!

Professor Farmer's ST210 class is challenging but manageable with dedication. The lectures are informative, and she provides ample support. Consistent engagement and utilizing resources like unstuck study can make this stats course quite rewarding.
