Dr. Ahn is one of the best instructors I had at UF. She is super-friendly and really cares about her students and their success. I was a little worried about taking this class because I thought learning about laws and regulations would be boring, but she really WOWed me. I highly recommend her!

She is fantastic. Truly caring, funny, and always available for her students. And she is a great instructor. She can turn ever boring subjects into something interesting. I wish she teaches more classes. I would take her class in a heartbeat. Strongly recommended!

I am taking her Man's Food this summer and this is the first time Dr. Ahn teaches this course (it was taught by others in the past). I heard many bad things about FOS2001 with its former instructors, but Dr. Ahn's teaching was excellent. Easy and clear lecture. Fun assignment and open note quizzes and exams. And always quick response to my emails!

Dr. Ahn is THE BEST. She is an excellent instructor and makes difficult concepts very easy to understand. And she is very caring. When I missed quizzes and assignment to take care of family, she emailed me to check if I am OK and offered extra time for make up. Knowing she care about me was wonderful (and this is online course with 200 students!)

FOS 2001 Man's food was one of easiest classes I have taken at UF. Dr. Ahn organized the course in a manner that was structured and easy to understand. The exams are open notes and as long as you take notes on the lectures, you'll get an A on each on of them. Most of the course is watching the lecture and taking a short easy quiz after.

Loved Professor Ahn!! Her lectures prepare you for the quizzes and test. If you do the work you will get an easily get an A. Her tests are open note and she allows you to print out the transcripts from her lessons for them. I definitely recommend this because the questions come straight from the lecture.

Super easy class! Easy way to get some requirements done at UF. Pro tip: print the module power powers before each exam so you have it next to you (she said this is allowed), the questions on the exams are in order to the module powerpoints.

Dr. Ahn was a decent prof. There was a quiz due almost every week based on the lectures plus 2 assignments which were a bit challenging, but doable. Both quizzes and exams were open notes, but I would still study if I were you. Be sure to review the quizzes and take notes from lectures to prepare yourself for exams.

Unfortunately Dr. Ahn changed exams to closed note (thanks to all those stupid people jabbering how easy it was, I guess) so more difficult than I thought. But if you study, you will do fine. I am learning a lot, and she is also very accommodating. Still a good option for Bio credit.

This course requires LOADS of writing. But if you are interested in the topic, this is definitely a fun course. Business plan is confusing, but if you request a meeting, Dr Ahn takes her time to help you complete the plan. She was always available and willing to help. I did learn a lot. And Dr Ahn was very caring.

The BEST food science course I have taken at UF. Dr. Ahn is so much fun and she really cares about her students. She has talent for explaining complex concepts in the easiest way possible. Dr. Ahn is amazing! She cares about your success and tried her best to get to know each person in class. Lectures were easy to follow, and we were allowed to have 2 sheets of paper, front and back, to use as a cheat sheet for the exam. Exam mostly covers topics from the study guide, but be prepared for some questions regarding in-class discussions.

Probably one of the easiest classes at UF. Weekly open note quizzes and assignments. Only critique is all of the quizzes are honorlocked which can be annoying. Other than that, 100000% would recommend for an easy biological science credit

Professor Ahn was super nice, took this course for credits and gpa boost, and it was super easy. Lectures are on PlayPosit and are super easy. The quizzes are easy, too. No exam, just some discussions and a digital project. I passed with an A, and I'm someone who gets distracted easily.

There is genuinely so much extra credit and opportunities to get an A in this course that you frankly need to be doing nothing to not. It can be a little tedious at times, but it is extremely easy -- and the many assignments can be done in 1-2 hrs.

Remember when learning used to be fun? Dr. Ahn actually makes it fun again. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually enjoyed doing the assignments in this class. Super engaging and easy to follow. Definitely recommend it for bio credit, international credit, or just a chill elective.

Man's Food was absolutely amazing online. General class about food- nutrition, food art, flavors, food groups etc. Each week: 10 min lecture, open note quiz, no exams, and one assignment (ex: eat at a restaurant and document the experience, make food art, make a personalized diet plan.) Final exam was a digital scrapbook.

Easy class, mostly playposit videos with few written assignments that take ~1-2 hours.
