Great professor. Lectures are very interesting, there is also group work and labs which go along with the lecture. Great class would definitely take professor for another class.

Dr. Sen is a great teacher although his lectures are long and drawn out. Syllabus and assignments are clear and detailed. Responds to emails promptly and makes sure you're passing class. Only thing I disliked is the he combined the 2nd test and the final which meant it was worth a lot for our final grade.

Professor Sen is a professor who shows his expertise in the subject matter in the way he presents it. He allows his students options as to how they show their knowledge in the projects they choose. I would take him again for another course.

Professor Sen is very caring and student-centered in how he conducts his class. He is flexible, approachable, and highly knowledgeable about physical science. This was one of the last classes I took because I have always been intimidated by the subject, but he made the content clear and accessible! I highly recommend taking him!

Took Geology online and it was moderately easy. It's mostly reading chapters and a few lab assignments. Professor was easy to contact, understanding, quick to respond to messages, and was available to help you.

If you want a professor that actually cares about your learning then this is your guy!!! Professor Sen is one of my favorite professors, he's caring, friendly, easy to talk to. He's helpful, he responds quick to emails. I really recommend him for any subject, HE IS AWESOME!!!

Summer course and was so much fun, I had the opportunity to learn so much. Professor Sen cares for each students and is an easy person to talk to when you have questions regarding grades, assignment and lecture questions. This class was so easy to participate, he made everything so interesting. Overall he is on my top five greatest Professor at UHD

Prof Sen is spectacular. He actually cares about his students' success and drives them to succeed. He is lecture heavy and the lectures are important to the tests, so it is important to attend class. Aside from heavy lectures, his class is enjoyable and wholesome. I would recommend him for sure!

I had the honor to take NS 3311 this summer with Professor Sen. He is an awesome professor. He cares about your learning in class. He is very heavy on lecture. So, it's important to attend class every day. If I need another science class, would definitely take Professor Sen.

Dr. Sen is awesome, his lectures are a little heavy but important. His tests are based from the lectures so you must pay attention to pass.

I recommend taking this class in the summer, not rushed at all. 3 easy exams with 5 short essay questions ( helps increase your grade), 2 individual lesson plans about science, 1 major group project. Very easy class, Prof. Sen gives great lectures and encourages everyone to participate in the discussions. One of my favorite Professors at UHD.

Professor Sen is a diamond professor, in his lectures he tries to use a mixture of humor and relevance in order to make the subject matter mean something to you.

Professor Sen was amazing! Lectures were sometimes hard to understand but he made you feel comfortable to ask questions and encouraged to ask questions if we were lost. I would definitely take him again for another course because he is so knowledgable in content. He has stories to tell and good sense of humor :)

Well-rounded teacher that teaches the students with passion and experience. He cares about the students, fair when it comes to grading and the work load that he gives to student. Although, his lecture are sometimes long he keeps it interesting but adding some jokes and his own personal experiences.

He is super amazing!!!! Love this Professor! Yall should definitely take him. I took classes Friday nights literally for like 3-4hours but class was beyond interesting and although I was tired I would really enjoy the lectures! Freaking interesting class! Just take him dude! You wont regret it!

I took Prof Sen twice. His lectures are rich and repetitive; he teaches the material over and over using different examples to ensure comprehension. Participation matters, usually a group project over an interesting topic. His test questions are to the point, no tricks. Great prof, very insightful. Has a desire to help his students succeed.

The Professor is really nice, because we did not use the textbook you had to be there for lectures in order to pass the test. That way you are able to ask the questions you need to ask.

Prof. Sen does everything in his power to make sure you understand the material to pass the exams. He's super encouraging, & pushes his students to be their very best! Professor Sen is nice and he always try to help his students. He explained very well each chapter and he used power points to make more easily to learn the content. Would definitely take Professor Sen again. He has a great outlook on life and we loved hearing about his close encounters. Was a little hesitant signing up for this class because it was on a Friday night, but we never stayed the full 4.5 hrs. No need to purchase the text book, he provides an e-copy along with power point slides for each lecture!!

Prof Sen is a really caring educator. He makes himself available outside of class time and is in constant communication with his students. He's also very flexible and will work with students if they need special accommodations. His classes are really lecture heavy and sometimes feel like they drag on but he throws in some funny and quirky tidbits.

Literally the kindest teacher I've had. If you do all the assignments (which aren't that hard) you will pass. He gives plenty of chances at redemption.

If you do the work it is the easiest A you will get. He reached out to me to make up an assignment. Even though it was late he gave me a 95. He checks up on you and he cares about his students.

Professor Sen is AMAZING! You will not regret taking him. He does his best to make sure his students understand the material. While the powerpoint are very long, its because he repeats information so you can understand by the end of class. Be sure to attend class as it's lecture heavy though.

Professor Sen was truly a blessing during this difficult time. I was hesitant about taking this class online , however Professor Sen's lectures were really engaging and made it feel like I was in a face-to-face setting. Pretty easy class. 3 tests, 1 group (or solo) project. All tests are timed, and open book, going to lectures helps during tests. Takes a bit to grade, but only because he gives feedback.

Summer1, 3 test/1 project . Download all PowerPoints, watch his zooms everything on tests is found there. Open book test. no webcam/lockdown he adjusts based on feedbacks so speak up! we told him it wasnt enough time on tests and he added more time. He wanted us to do individual proj but many of us asked for groups and he allowed it! I LIKED HIM!

Professor Sen is so kind. I took him as an in-person class but our classes are online, I like that. His lectures are quick and easy to understand and he uses a lot of life lessons to connect to our lessons, which I also enjoy. We have few discussions, few labs, and a group project at the end of the semester.

He was an amazing proffessor, i would take him again if i could, i took him online but i wish i could have in person, he has long lectures but they are informational if you are engaged and participating. He has very clear assignments and due dates, no confusion and there is team projects, you will do great, just stay proactive and email if need.
