excellent instructor. he will pass you even if you failed all your tests but put some effort into it and went to every class.

He is a really nice professor he's really great about making sure everyone understands, and is also available whenever you need help. FAIR not easy this proffesor has a quiz and home work everyweek that makes it a time consuming class, but he is clear and fair. there is always extra credit and he makes it very hard to fail. genuinly cares about his students i would take him again deffinetly

I took with him math 110, 115, 225 in a row.. He is very easy math teacher and he gives a lot of extra credit.. His philosophy is that everybody will pass no matter what.. The quizes that he gives are like 35/ 25 so you always have like 10 or more extra credit and that will help you to do get an A.

He has an accent but it makes class interesting. Lots of hw but he gives you two weeks and it's easy. Quizzes have a LOT of x-credit. Just memorize the definitions, he's big on that but it's not hard. His midterm is part take-home and part in class. He really does try to motivate his students and always wants to know if anybody has a question.

His english is pretty bad but if you follow along, get good grades on the quizes, midterm and final, attend class every day and do all the extra credit he offers you then guarantee you'll get a good grade. He grades fair so just show youre doing your best.

Had him for Math 89, 91 and 102. He's a really nice professor. He is very dedicated to his students and is willing to help you until you understand the material. Has a strong Russian accent though. Make friends with him go to office hours and he will pass you.

Professor Mkrtchian is very nice and helpful. He genuinely cares about his students, often creating study sessions before big quizzes and answering every homework question. If you study, complete homework, and attend class, you'll have no problem getting an A. The textbook is used for homework, rarely used in class.

Great Guy, really cares about you understanding the concept behind the math and its uses and does not only teach the method of solving a problem. If you ask a question he will answer it in a variety of ways to make sure you understand. Not so easy, but fair, and simply a great professor.

This is a fairly easy class. He gives points for attendance, so you should show up! He's not fond of tardies so try not to be. Go the review sessions he holds and asks questions if you don't understand something! He can be a bit boring but math in general isn't very exciting. His accent isn't a big problem. "Spontaneous" quizzes, as he puts in his syllabus, increase in difficulty over the course of the quarter. His exams are rather difficult, but if you do homework and study hard you will succeed.

His class was a straight forward math class. You listen to his lectures, do your work and turn it in. He's very caring about his students so don't be afraid to approach him. His accent doesn't help when lecturing and he speaks In a low voice during lecture, although thier are office hours almost every day! Tests are not easy and wants specific answers, if you are good at math you can get at least a B if not I suggest taking someone else or take the class at a CC. I took Professor Mkrtchian this summer and he is seriously an amazing teacher he makes mistakes here and there, but he truly cares about the students and teaches you above what is required to really prepare you. He's very funny and has a great bond with his class. Expect alot of tests and hw not too hard and he is always there when you seek help.

He assigned the 3rd CA edition of the book, but HW problems were the same as the regular 13th edition! Pay close attention to his lectures, especially details like how to round decimals, and this class is a breeze. If you understand the homework, there are no surprises on the exams. He's very kind and caring, but strict on attendance and phones.
