Prof. Fluhman is one of the best teachers I have ever had-he loves his students. However, this class was very difficult. You have to pay attention to details DURING his lectures to know material for the tests that are really hard. There was also a 500 word essay every friday based on reading. Textbook helps but you need to know lecture details!!

Prof. Fluhman is a wonderful professor. He is very caring to all of his students and gave rebate on exam questions that majority got wrong. The multiple choice section of his exams require a lot of studying and even then were rough. BUT he is very VERY generous on his writing sections. He is understanding and easy to contact for meetings/ questions

TAKE FROM PROF FLUHMAN!!!!! Every lecture was engaging, funny, and educational. Also very caring- often asked our class for feedback, and gave us lots of extra credit. Weekly essay and lots of reading. Not an easy A. Time consuming, requires high-level analysis skills, and challenging tests. But it was super rewarding- HIGHLY recommend!!

Dr. Fluhman is AMAZING! He is caring, funny, witty, and makes class so much fun. He clearly knows his stuff and is passionate about history. His tests are insanely hard and the study guides aren't helpful, but he takes out questions that most people miss. Definitely a hard class, but if you put in the work, you can do well. Take a class from him!

Prof Fluhman has the most interesting and engaging lectures but the test are SO hard! So be ready! There are weekly assignments, 2 big tests, 4 books to read, and one 10 page paper. He is hilarious and so caring, but sometimes the class felt too difficult. Overall, it is an interesting class that will challenge you.

Professor Fluhman is one of my favorite professors ever! If I could take every history class from him, I would. He is super flexible and willing to work with students. We had input in nearly every major paper or discussion. It was a lot of reading, but you could skim it and be fine; daily attendance quizzes on general things from the reading.
