He is a great teacher, definitely willing to help you when you need it. He teaches because it's something he loves and tinkers with all the time. His testing is in a group and open note book and "like real life" He's a great teacher.

He teaches through practice, so if you are willing to put time into writing and practicing speeches it will be worth it. He's always willing to help and it's pretty easy to pass the class.

He is awsome! This class is perfect for getting an overall idea of the visual com. world. I had the programs all in my computer so i didn't have to stay long hours in the media lab. I would recommend getting the adobe programs as well. Bro. Haacke is fun and funny. straight to the point and not to hard. I spent maybe 5 hours on hw.

Brother Haacke is a great teacher, he is very helpful and willing to meet with you outside of class. I had him for Public Speaking and he only wanted us to prepare well and review ourselves afterward. If you are bad at speaking it's ok. if you review yourself afterwards you get almost all the points you lost back!Don't take comm102 from anyone else

Brother Haacke is a great teacher and is really helpful. This class is hard if you are not familiar with a Mac or the adobe programs, but if you stick to the rubric on the projects you will get a good grade. I loved his philosophy on teaching for the real world, hence his group work tests. Deadlines are strict so don't procrastinate on homework.

He is kind, understanding, flexible, and incredibly helpful. Will do absolutely anything to help you succeed. Very funny. he is a much easier grader than most of the other professors that teach this course, so it's easier to get a good grade in his class compared to other teachers.

He's a good teacher, and I think it's a good beginning class. My only issue with it is that there's no time for refining projects, which is something really important in Art 130, 230, and 235. (And probably future ones, too.) Visual Media and Graphic Design are very different, apparently.

Brother Haacke is a phenomenal teacher.He does not ask anything, (and I mean ANYTHING) from his students that he does not do himself. He does not push you. But he leads in such a way that makes you want to push yourself. Brother Haacke loves seeing his students truly succeed. He became one of my heroes this semester. Good Man. Great teacher.

This class was super easy. The material is a bit boring, but, hey, it's an easy two-credit course. Brother Haacke is the bomb, and he is totally understanding about late work. No real tests. There's a final but it's really easy as long as you pay attention to the Kahoot quizzes. It's a really chill environment, and I would take it again if I could.

I really enjoyed Bro Haacke. I felt this course was great to take as a first semester freshman, and really felt better prepared for upcoming semesters. His assignments are pretty straight forward, and he was really easy to work with in and out of class. Would definitely recommend!

reminded me of a seminary teacher in the way that he teaches, incorporated gospel often in class, cares about you and your grades not just only in this class, wants you to succeed, lenient on attendance doesn't even begin to describe him (I skipped a lot and got a high A as long as I did my homework), and gives helpful information for your life

I took this class hoping to receive some direction on a major, as well as a helpful transition into college. Still have no idea what I want to major on (doesn't focus on that hardly at all) and it felt more like a support group rather then a helpful class, but it's an easy A. Just a bit of busy work.

Highly recommended for GS 105. He made all lessons entertaining and engaging. If you put in the effort that's required and try, you will pass with an easy A.

Brother Haccke is really concerned with how well you are learning the material. In-depth with his lectures, makes them entertaining and very engaging. Lots of group work, at least once a week in class. A bit of a tough grader. Wants you to "dig deeper" in all of your journal entries, which are weekly or more.

Bro. Haacke is amazing! Super easy 2 credit class. There is an online textbook so don't spend money at the bookstore renting it. The only homework is journal writings based off of prompts in the textbook. He lets class out early often. There is a name quiz which makes the class very interactive, and easier to talk to classmates.

Great Class! There is a lot of homework and reading but it isn't that hard to do and the reading and assignments aren't busy work and help participate to your learning and are things that will help you succeed in school and life.

This is the best teacher for this class. He makes the class a "work atmosphere" and "pays" us instead of grades. It makes class more fun. Most assignments are optional, we just get "paid" more if we do them. This class is a lot of work, but Bro Haacke makes it very enjoyable.

Brother Haacke was amazing. Took jokes and jabs with no issue. Ensured learning about public speaking was fun and not boring, helped us dissect speaking and learn how to improve with specific help. While you do have to go to the PPC it is extremely helpful.

His class was very easy and he seemed very caring. He tried to get to know the students a little more than I've seen in online teachers. There were so many opportunities for extra credit and the assignments were very easy. I also liked what he had to say about the course and how he tried to teach us.

This teacher was very easy going. The assignments were self-paced, and you had plenty of time to complete the readings and journals. He always answered emails in a timely manor, and was very respectful. It was a very easy class and I learned a lot.

Brother Haacke was great. The class was super easy and I knew exactly what was going on. He is strict about due dates but there is so much extra credit it is really hard to get a bad grade. He really wants you to learn and feel cared for. the lessons were great and I learned a lot.

Professor Haacke is a fantastic teacher. He really cares about his students and the subject. This class is very heavy on homework for 2 credits. It's time-consuming but so easy. If you put in the work, it's an easy A. Don't buy a notebook for this class. The workbook is your best friend in this class and you don't need anything else.

Brother Haacke has lots of hands on games and activities in class which I liked. Never had a test, just a final essay at the very end of the semester. There were usually two extra credit assignments at the end of the week and they are easy. Teaches you basic but useful skills for life. Takes attendance by playing kahoot which is fun.

This class can take up a bit of time doing written assignments but it's still easy as crap. Bro Haacke does a good job of making extra credit very easy and accessible. His lectures are usually pretty interesting too. He's cool and is a very easy marker. I'd highly recommend.

Brother Haacke's class was always fun. Life and Study Skills is a really easy class, the only reason I got an A- was because I broke my ankle mid-semester and couldn't make it to like a month of class. There's a lot of extra credit you can do.

One of the best teachers I ever had. Even though it was just Study and Life skills, I learned so much and I think it helped me out more than any of my other classes. He really personalizes his lectures and you can't help but just listen and learn. He does lots of activities to make us think. Such a fun class!

Haacke is a great teacher! He cares about his students and their success. You have to go to the PPC for every speech, but go more than you think you need. Start on your TED talk topic as soon as you can! Speech day sneaks up on you. The textbook is helpful but not necessarily required. Haacke is reasonable, but don't take advantage of his kindness.

I loved his Professional Presentations class. It was really fun and you develop a close-knit relationship with the classmates. He grades by a "money" (points) system to represent an actual business opportunity. It's pretty easy to get enough "money" (points) to get a good grade.
