He is a little hard to understand. Go very slow! Just keep asking questions, he is willing to answer them all. When he gives HW, he spends the entire next class going over each problem. Good teacher, if you have some math background.

He is very willing to help out students who care. He even gives credit for homework that is wrong, as long as you are sincere.

Awesome Professor! Relax & learn. I was apprehensive about Calculus before getting in this class. Charming, makes the course interesting, gives practical examples, explains concepts lucidly (love his voice!). Very helpful and easygoing. Recommend with A+.

His tests are very hard but he is always available for help and is very nice once you go and get it. Does have an attitude that math is your only course when he piles on the hw.

A cool guy in a sense, A little hard to understand because of accent, also quite a funny voice. He seems to be an easy grader one homework a week that he collects and a one question quiz after going over the material. Tests are hard but he is genrous with poiunts.

He is one of the best math professors that Iona has.He might be deep on his accent but, he is very reasonable.It is math it's not supposed to be an easy A class. If you study your notes you will do very good in class. I got an A in this class just by listening in class and doing the problems that we did in class.

He was easy as hell for mth 133, he lets you bring cheat sheets to tests so if you just write alot of stuff on the notes you will be good. He has an accent but its not a big deal.

Notes are clear, gives practice tests before every test and the problems are almost the same. He lets you use formula cards for all tests and the final. Math is my worst subject and I got an A. Great professor.

Gives good notes. Tests are not too bad. Nice Guy. Takes attendance, but isnt strict about it. Would take him again without hessitation.

I LOVE THIS MAN. he is probably one of the better math teachers at this school. the material is not easy (if you dont have background in pre-calc) but do the work and go to his office hours...and it's a guaranteed A. He is the most helpful teacher I have ever had...always willing to answer any and all questions.i recommend him!

Take him, might not do well on tests but they're almost identical to midterm and final and you get 90s on them after taking the class tests. Go to him for extra help, he's more than happy to help you. You might have to go to the Rudin center for help at times. He's really nice and talk to him so he knows you. I got an A...very possible to get an A

a pretty nice man overall. he does tend to favor girls and treat them a little better. he gives alot of notes, and his tests are HARD. but if you study and if you go to him for help or talk with him, he is extremely helpful. i didn't like the course, it was too hard, but he is a nice guy.

interesting class, basically cause is loves math, but it was a nice class. some quizzes, a midterm and final. homework every once in a while. just go to class and answer some questions and he'll love you, i promise.

Great guy, always willing to help. Gives excellent examples. People make the mistake of not asking questions in class. He is always available durring his office hours and loves to help. He actually cares about his students learning. Very good teacher. Take him if you actually want to learn but be willing to put in some work.

Great guy and a great class. Willing to answer any and all questions about any subject matter before the lecture starts. Don't be fooled. Homework is deliberately ten times harder than tests to ensure you understad the material. I wish I could have him again for calc 3. Best teacher I've ever had.

Great guy. Answers any questions you have he is always available for help. Do the mathxl homework he posts online as soon as they are assigned its a pain if you ignore it until the end of the semester! If you attend all the classes and do the work your sure to get an A !

After the first two tests which I failed I was contemplating dropping the course, but I felt deep inside that I should keep going. Low and behold I got an A. I love this guy, he wants you to learn and nothing else. Just trust yourself if you think its difficult, and use classmates to complete online assignments.

I thought that this was an excellent professor. He was so helpful and enthusiastic. He explained everything if you just pay attention, and you can meet with him if you need help. He is always willing to give you extra help, and the tests come from the notes exactly.

hes an alright guy- hes extremly clear with explaining problems and goes over anything you need help with. if you think you're going to fail the class ( like me) stay with him! i got a B. not too much hw( which is online) and only 4 tests

I thought he was a really good teacher even though the material can be difficult to understand sometimes. He is available for extra help and is willing to answer any questions. As long as you do the homework and pay attention in class, you will do well. And the textbook is not used at all.

Honestly it's work, but he's not a bad teacher. You can't get less than 100% on all his homework cause its online. He's pretty clear. I took him and got an A. I had to work for it though, but its math. Just review problems on mathxl.com and you'll be fine. His tests repeat a lot of questions anyway, especially the final...I would recommend.

I thought I failed calc2 and I ended up with a B+. But I always had my text book with me(not required),always went to his office hours for help,and never gave up and in the end I understood most of the material. So my advice to you is to show him how hard your working and try your best. and pa is helpful see him in the rudin center.

I thought I failed and I ended up with a C. Don't give up in his class and try. Go to his office hours, always bring the text book(not needed). And, do not let the homework build up. You will do better on the test if you do like 80% every week. Hes helpful. If you don't understand something say it or it will bite you. Study long division...

Great teacher! Definitely considered taking him for calc 2. All homework was on my math lab and tests were short answer. Has a sense of humor and is happy when students participate in class. will go over any questions you don't understand from the homework if you bring it into class.

Professor Krishnan made Calculus, which is a very hard subject if you don't have prior knowledge of basic algebra, easy to understand and suprisngly fun. I loved walking into class and getting to learn something new.

Krishnan is a very good professor. You cannot skip class. He takes very good, clear notes. The textbook isn't required. Homework is all online and is not very time consuming. His test cover all the material learned in class. Overall I would take him again and he is very nice and understanding .

he's a great professor and teaches well, my only complaint is he rushes through the lessons and then when the class points out that hes just going way too fast, he says no hes actually going too slow. he vaguely introduced a new topic and only two classes later gave a test on it. hes so nice and understanding, he just needs to give us more time!
