Professor Pentyala is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Anatomy & Physiology. He makes class fun and will do whatever it takes to help you learn this difficult subject. Wish he taught Microbiology, but unfortunately not.

He is an excellent professor. He is extremely intelligent but his teaching methods are very down to earth and he explains this difficult material in a way that you get it!!! He doesn't overload you with ALL the material that is covered in the A&P textbook, just gives you the important facts.

He's a great guy. I can't wait to take AP 32 with him. I'm not a "science" or "math" person for that matter, but in this class, I leave the class very interested about the subject matter in particular the cell. The whole process is amazing, but perhaps its the professor that makes the subject very interesting. He does a great job teaching!

Have to take AP? YOU WANT THIS PROFESSOR. He explains this stuff so well, you WILL understand it! He really loves teaching & is very accessible. Doesn't go off on tangents, highly organized, teaches what you need to know clearly and concisely, using great analogies as needed. Great sense of humor, too! Dr. Pentyala is an excellent Professor. He approachable and helpful. He cares about you learning and will work with your learning style to make sure that you understand. In my opinion, he is one of the best instructors at SCCC. I know that he also teaches over at the Stony Brook University Medical Center. If you want to be an RN take his class.

This class is hard subject to learn but the professor pentyala breaks every little detail down so you understand the concept. The only thing that I didn't like we're the labs. We really didn't do the labs at all. He basically just explained it and sent us home.

Prof Pentyala is by far the best A&P teacher out there..I have taken this class with other teachers and have had to drop out because I wasn't learning/getting the material but he is different, he wants you to pass & will help you to understand things by breaking it down in a way you will remember, just don't miss a class his lectures are the best

He is the best Proffessor. After 25yrs of leaving school Igot A because he teaches the way you can understand it. He goes back and forth on his slide until you understand it.

Awesome professor. Just took him this past fall and taking him again this spring for a&p2. as long as you study all of the slides and write your own notes you'll do good. He uses examples you can relate to to make the topics much easier to remember and understand. Highly recommended.

Prof. Pentyala's teaching style makes a hard subject easy to learn and understand. He genuinely cares for his students and wants them to succeed both in and out of class. He is not only an excellent educator but also a great adivsorcounselor. If you want to learn A&P without the unecessary mumbo jumbo take his A&P classes, you will not be disappointed!

He did not use the texts i spent good financial aid money. He does power point without video but with pictures; no homework, few tests. Over all a decent easy class not a class for someone who wants to learn the information but def for someone who wants to pass to continue on.. to those i say good luck never be my medical professional.

You show up and take notes in addition to the downloaded notes he e-mails to you. Study regularly as the class progresses, and you'll get that "A".

Notes were easy to follow and he only taught what was necessary to know. Class was interesting and I always felt engaged. Lab was really easy as long as you show up and no textbook needed!

Yes, it's a lot of material, but this professor makes it so easy. He explains very well and only teaches you what will be on the exam. He's also very funny which is a plus! His exams are super easy as long as you put in the effort to study. So happy I took this summer class w him! I totally recommend him! I will be taking him for BIO132

This class is so difficult but Professor Pentyala makes the material so relatable & easy to understand. I took this class in the summer which made the information more intense but he's very understand and gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit. He has tons of personality so class is enjoyable! If you show up, print lecture slides sent directly to personal email, listen to lecture while following along in class, study the lecture notes, and perform decent on tests; you will certainly pass. If you are a poor test taker, then do not attempt to take this professor- extra "bonus points" credit, are derived strictly from tests, so there are no papers or participation grades to boost your average! & the same goes for lab. Minimal practical lab assignments; a visual and and brief explanation from professor; a handout in which will ultimately be exactly what's on the test. Again, show up, print lectures, pay attention, and be prepared for about 6-7 tests (some 20 questions, some 70) multiple choice only! No scantrons, tests finished within 40 minutes tops! This professor moves quickly during lecture and expects his students to understand and perform just as quickly. There are no HW assignments, and you do not need any text (lecture or lab) if this sounds like it fits your personal academic style, go for it, he's an inspiring professor!

Tough course with massive amounts of info to learn. Professor Pentyala makes it understandable and interesting. He cares about his students and wants them to learn. The professor is very smart and he cares about his students success, that is why he uses different tools in demonstration so that you can understand the subject. Probably one of the best teachers I have ever taken in all my years of college. Honestly, one of the best professors I've ever had. I learned so much in this class and after coming from a long day job I never minded coming to lecture/lab. I took BIO130 virtually during the Fall semester. Professor Pentyala provided the necessary information for the lecture and labs required to pass the exams. Professor Pentyala always answered my questions and graded very fairly. Even though it was a bit challenging I really enjoyed taking this class. Would definitely recommend this professor.

I took BIO130 with Professor Pentyala this past fall online and I would definitely do it again! He gives lots of extra credit opportunities to make sure everyone gets a chance to pass. There is a decent amount of work, but it is easy work if you put the time in. The power points and test banks are a huge help in understanding the class.

Best professor ever! His grading is clear. I took him for the fall semester during this pandemic. You wont need the book. Watch his PP videos, do the word banks that he gives you ( there is a lot on it), but believe me they will help you during the exams. And its extra credit towards your grade. Theres no guessing what you need to Study.

I have never met Dr. Pentyala in person or have seen what he looks like for that matter. Yet he is one of my favorite professors I had a Suffolk. He has a great teaching style, cares about his students, and offers extra credit. I would highly recommend him and make sure to take advantage of his extra credit test banks. They will help you for exams

I took this class online, amazing Professsor. He gives lecture PowerPoint which is very descriptive. If you review the lecture and lab notes the answer to the test banks are in there. Do and submit the test banks, review test banks lecture notes and YouTube clips for lab it helped out tremendously for each quiz, and Exam.

I took this class online and I thought it would be impossible but prof Pentyala gave great power point lectures with audio. It felt as though you were in the class room. He gave test banks that helped so much. It was a lot to learn and stressful but I believe I did great because of his excellent way of teaching. He gave lab assignments.

Lectures: organised, concise and entertaining Labs: perfectly aligned with material you need for lab exams( he simplifies it beautifully). Quizzes: class is provided with review sheet( Fill them out, does not take long and you will do great on exams). Awesome class

Best class and professor ever. He made it so that if you applied yourself, you got an A. Do his homework assignments which are in order and explained during his lectures. Study the homework questions, all test questions are from those. It was such an easy technique; you actually learned and retained the most important information. Must take class

Great Professor, tough class. You have to study to pass this course. Online lecture and in person lab, but the lecture power points had audio. They helped me a lot. Professor always respond to my emails. I would definitely take him again. I wish he taught 132 also.

Dr.Pentyala is an amazing professor! His class is manageable but do not fall behind. His online lecture recordings are easy to understand and helpful. His fill in the blank papers are so useful and helpful when it comes to studying for an exam. If you have the chance to get in his class you won't regret it!

Best professor I have ever had here at SCCC. I 100% recommend it. Thick and heavy accent, just listen closely. He truly does want to see all of his students pass. I only had him for Bio 130 lecture, not lab but could not imagine it being any different.

Let's keep this simple. If you want to pass A&P1 do yourself a favor and take Prof Pentyala"s class. Do all the test banks, study the PowerPoint slides for lectures and labs and you will pass this class. He keeps it simple and clear to understand. It's a tough subject matter. Put in the work and you will do very well. The effort will be rewarded.

Hands down the best. I mean the best. Learned so much from him. He made things simpler. You cant go wrong if you study from the test bank, I mean he set it up all for you, you just got to study it. Cant go wrong with him.

Srini is a very nice and sweet professor who genuinely cares about his students. He had a family emergency this semester and still came back to finish teaching the course. He is really dedicated and committed to his students. He could just not care at all, but for some reason he does care. He is a professor that really wants his students to succeed

Professor Pentyala was amazing! You can only fail if you choose not to do the work provided. A&P is a TOUGH course regardless, but he makes it achievable. Professor Srini is absolutely an amazing Professor. The thought that he puts into his lectures really show.He has taught me more in one semester than ive learned in two years. He cares about his students and genuinely wants you to do well. As i go off into nursing school i wish i could take him with me! His tips and tricks helped me so much.

Prof. Srini is an amazing professor and he makes A&P entertaining to learn. He's very clear about grading and his tests are based on the notes he goes over in class. He's happy to answer any questions you have. There's no assigned homework or mandatory attendance, but if you miss class regularly, you will not pass.

I really enjoyed his classes, especially when he talked about his research (how he got ideas and turned them into working prototypes, and what impact those works can have on us human beings and the world). I also appreciate him sharing his personal experiences, showing us that there are many possible career paths, and giving us advice and tips.

He's absolutely awesome, sends everything via email (class notes, word test banks, etc). He makes lectures interesting & entertaining; Also applies lecture concepts to everyday life events which allows you to understand why all of this stuff is important. Lab time is never 3 hrs. makes lab short and easy to understand.

Dr. Pentyala is an AMAZING anatomy professor! Breaks down difficult concepts into stories that will make you laugh, but most importantly remember the material! Pairs lecture with lab for a continuous education, unlike other professors. It's a shame he doesn't teach BIO132. Highly recommend, if you're looking to learn and retain A&P!!

By far, my favorite professor. Anatomy and physiology is already such a hard topic. I am not good with memorizing anything but if you study hard enough and make sure to use index cards, you will be good. He gives you test Banks and goes over the test as well so you have it for the final. He's open to giving bonuses and is hilarious !!

If you want to pass Bio 130, take Professor Pentyala! I really thought I was going to failure his class because It is a summer class, and lots of things to study in a short period of time. But he gave us good lectures that was easy to remember the material, extra credits and quiz banks, that were all so helpful in the end for my grade.
