pretty goof prof. Tests were kind of hard but getting an A is possible. Get the class involved with discussions from their own life and how it relates to the topic at hand.Also it helps she is pretty to look at so going to class wasnt that bad :)

Gave quizzes before the exam class to let you know what material you really needed to study. Gave attendance bonus. One research paper that was easy. Posted fill-in-the-blank notes on BlackBoard. Tests were 100% regurgitation of knowledge. No synthesis or critical thinking required. Final was not cumulative.

Adams was very clear on describing the material. Class was not mandatory but very helpful, as that's how most of her test info was given. Quizzes were a breeze and there was no homework. Very easy and interesting general education requirement.

Dr. Adams is an amazing professor who really cares about her students. She is a very relaxed grader and I thought the class was super easy. I received pretty much an A+ without hardly studying. She is also extremely nice and kind of crazy, but in a good way. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but instead she gave extra credit sometimes for showing up.

I would take this class over in a heart beat! She gives you the notes ahead of time and her lectures are great! You never get bored, she is always telling jokes! He quizzes are easy just show up to class. Her tests are easy as long as you spend some time looking over everything!

Professor Adams is such a great professor with a helpful personality. She is very knowledgeable in Psychology and she is a clinical child psychologist too. Her tests are super easy as long as you study the definitions. She gives attendance points that are worth 2 points each on random days. There is only one paper to write and 5 point easy quizzes

As long as you take notes and read over them then you'll do fine! She does give out quizzes once in a while and on random days she gives out 2 points of extra credit. You have to write a few papers, most are easy but there is a big one at the end. Also, be prepare to spend 6 hours of your own time at simple psych tests outside of class.

Attendance isn't mandatory, but every once in a while she'll give extra credit to people for just showing up. 4 or 5 pretty easy tests & 3 or 4 papers that you pick the due dates on. That's it. Prof. Adams is probably one of the best I've had. She really does know her stuff and is passionate about the content. She relates to the class well and makes lectures enjoyable and easy to follow. She is a fair grader and is just one of those profs. that loves her job and she definitely shows it.

Adams was an amazing teacher. Her lectures are very clear and well presented. GO TO THE STUDY SESSIONS BEFORE EACH EXAM AND YOU WILL NOT GET BELOW A 85. No homework, besides interactive assignments that will take maybe 15 minutes to complete once or twice a week. Offered extra credit as well.

Mrs. Adams is GREAT! She is a psychologist so she knows a lot about psychology already. Her lectures are very informative and entertaining. Make sure you take notes on the slides during lecture, and study those slides before tests. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. If you do all that, you should have no problem with this class!

Professor Adams is very engaged with her students and lectures are always interesting because she tells stories and makes it interesting for students. There are 4 exams (final exam is not cumulative) and she provides study guides for each one. There are chapter quizzes too and using the book is a must to get a good grade on them. Highly recommend!

This class is an easy A so if that's what you're looking for then go for this professor, but you have to study the material on your own to actually learn/ retain the material on your own. Read the powerpoint and you'll pass the test. Although attendance is not mandatory she will sometimes give extra credit to those who actually show up.

I loved how there were kahoots! That really helped with the tests! I would study those & always got an A or B on the tests. She would tell stories in class that would help you to understand the material. I also really liked how she gave us examples on how to remember things (or how she remembered it when she had to learn it)

Amazing teacher! Cares for her students. The topic is demanding but she finds ways to engage her students so that they enjoy her lectures. Random attendance days to try to go to class! Also, dont slack on research points!!!

She really cares if her students are passing or not and gives extremely clear guidelines and expectations for the week every week. I would definitely take again and was sad when I found out I wasnt taking any of her classes this semester.

She is such a great instructor. I had her for PSYC111 and now currently PSYC201. She really cares about her students and their well-being as well as how they are doing in the class. If I could have her instruct all of my classes I would. She never really has busy work, only what you need to know and for both classes has study sessions for tests.

Very sweet prof, she is very social and loves talking to students. Lectures are long (40-70 min) but she still stays on track. Exams are a little difficult but if you study the power points you should be fine.

I had it asynchronous and I loved Professor Adams! Her lectures were v detailed and she made sure to clearly explain the material. There were about 2 hrs of lecture videos per week. She gives many EC opportunities and really cares about her students. She holds live discussions and the TA holds Kahoot Exam Review sessions! Tests were open note.

She is, if not the best, one of the best professors I've had. She's so sweet and cares about all of her students. I've taken two of her psychology classes, and since they're asynchronous, she posts the lectures on Blackboard. The only drawback is that the lectures are long, but if you manage your time well, it should be fine. 110% take her!!!

Get her if you can. The class was so easy. It consists of easy online hw, online exams that me and roommate work together on, 1 paper that was easy and only a few pages, and research credit hours which are easy to complete. A student version of lecture notes are posted online but it's not the same as the one she used in class so you have to go.

I loved Prof. Adams so much. She made me want to explore psychology more even if I minored in it. She is really really nice and cares so much about what she does. She's funny and makes class fun and I really love going. u also get a lot of xtra credit chances and everything that's due is really clear so you literally cannot fail if u pay attention.

Professor Adams is a very nice and easygoing instructor. Most exams were online and the lectures were not awful, with a lot of the material available online before class. I would recommend reading from the textbook as it does help. There is also some extra credit given for showing up in some classes. If you study and take good notes it is not bad.

She gives extra credit at random for attending class so I recommend attending class everyday. She posts all notes, but leaves parts out that are only offered in person during lecture. Assigns one research paper worth 50 points. My class had exams online with open notes, which helped especially if you filled out the review sheet. Great Professor!

I loved Professor Adams! Was very sweet and explained topics during lectures very well! All exams are online for this course and the only homework is the written paper assignment and the launchpad assignments. Make sure you do your SONA hours but very easy class and would definitely take a class with her again if I took another psychology class.

I took her for the spring semester and the exams are open note and everything she talks about in her lectures are on the exams. The exams are online as well. She also does occasional extra credit attendance points!!

Her examples were personal and funny, which made me actually care about the class. She awards extra credit randomly throughout the semester along with a couple extra credit questions on the exams. Exams are super easy because they are open book and open note. The essay is easy because she provides a clear instructions and outline.

She is a great professor but it's a course with lots of information for just 16 weeks. She's always talking and gives us real life examples of what she's teaching, especially examples of her children. She has one final essay with clear instructions and gives you the layout/outline. I took her Psych 201 on spring 2023 and we had our exams online.

She was nice. Her class was fairly easy and I never had any issues. I think I've said maybe three words to her during the entire semester. You have to get 6 hours of research participation credits or else your grade drops a letter. Overall, an easy class with a nice professor.

Instructor Adams lectured notes that were mostly accessible outside of class. She thoroughly answered questions. Although she doesn't require participation for in class discussions, Instructor Adams involves the experiences of students and shares personal anecdotes. I've spoken to her face to face. She is very resourceful and kind.

This professor is very lenient. incredibly informative. Shows a lot of care and engagement with her students. Many extra credit opportunities, and allows you a lot of assistance with assignments.

I loved Mrs. Adams. I received a 79.6% in the class. Had I shown up to class a few more times, I would've passed due to her giving random participation credit. The days I did go her lectures were entertaining and she really engages everyone. I would definitely take a class with her again

Professor Adams made this course understandable through her lectures and smaller assignments (7 in total) for someone who was having trouble understanding the vast world of majoring in psychology. There is a cumulative final exam but if you take good notes and come to class, you should be fine. Sometimes will also offer bonus attendance points.

Instructor Adams was nice and she kept the class very interesting. She shares many stories about what she has experienced in her profession which helps with understanding. I found this course relatively easy. The only thing that was a little challenging was the paper but if you follow the instructions you will do just fine.

Amazing instructor! TAKE her!! She is so sweet and class is very well organized. You get emails every Monday with a reminder of everything that you need to know. Great lectures, attendance not mandatory but she does randomly give extra credit for attendance.

This professor is always a great one if you can take her, I have had her three times and without fail, have always gotten good grades. For this course it consists of two multiple-choice exams, a weekly discussion board, and a weekly assignment which could be a small paper to a few pages. There is also a final project but it is not bad. Take her.
