Very funny in a rapid-fire approach to the traditional lecture. He does tend to go off on a tangent, though, so be prepared for unnecessary roughness.

Funny guy is what Stacy is all about. He has some of the funniest catch phrases that makes the class lectures fun to listen too. I took him a few years ago and his tests were hard. So be prepared to study a lot if you want a good grade. Overall a great teacher and a fun class but hard tests too.

Dr. Jurhree is an excellent teacher. Before taking his class, I was not much in touch with the American Government. But he made the class so interesting. Instead of just sticking to the study material, he gave us a much broader picture by giving real life examples of how the Government really works. Thankyou Dr. Jurhree.

He is a very easy teacher. he wrote the book and everything comes from the book. Took his class in wintermester and was still easy. Plenty of extra credit which you don't need. funny for the first class but repeats the same jokes over and over again. It is like that movue Groundhog day.

Not hard as long as you do your work(minimum, basically nothing) and study for the tests which is easy stuff because everything is in the book and he will tell you what to study. I RECOMMEND THIS CLASS!!! Govt usually = boring, but he makes this class anything BUT boring. You will get a lot out of this class. MEMORIZE the chapters covered on the test back and forth (i.e. Ch. Title, box & figure # and info inside, etc) If you do this you will make an A. He offers a lot of extra credit. Apply yourself and you'll make an A.

Wow, I never knew government could be this interesting! Pretty much read the short chapters he has in his text book. Memorize the blocks and graphs and stuff, you WILL do fine!!! He also gives plenty of extra credit, and he tells you about test like a month in advanced, very helpful!!!

for an 8am class, he always kept me awake. note taking not necessary. tests come straight from the book. remember his goofy poems and you'll be fine. plus he says amazingly hilarious things. sometimes, he repeats himself (like the same lecture thurs he did on tues) but since you don't need to take notes, it doesnt matter. funny guy. good xtra cred.

The most lively professor I have seen. The assignments are easy WHEN you study and the stories he has to say are hilarious and true to. He does have the tendency to repeat stories twice but I laugh anyway.

I love this professor! His lectures are funny and entertaining. His tests come straight from the book. As long as you do the study guides and study the chapters, you should be fine. I took him for both Govt 2301 and 2302. He also gives in-class assigments which count as two of your tests, and they're very easy!

Juhree's lectures are not all his own personal opinions like others have said as he tells you what book or where he got the certain point of view he discusses and he prides the fact that his students should know both sides of an argument. I took Jurhee for both 2301 & 2302 in the summer semesters. It was fast paced but not difficult. He writes his own textbook so take him for both classes so you can use the same textbook and save money. His test were over 2 chapters (10-12 pages each) at a time, so you could just re-read the chapters before the text. Easy A, if you listen and study.

While I agree that the class itself is pretty easy, the tests are unbelievably difficult. There are some questions on them, for example, that say "Figure X-Y shows..." and you just have to remember what it was from your book. Most assignments feel like busy work in my opinion, but the professor does make the subject interesting with his charisma.

Most of his tests are questons taking from the reviews in the book which makes it extremely easy to study. His final was like 8 one page essays. He will let you know far in advance on whether you should drop. Good teacher. Highly opinionated and will teach you according to those opinions which actually makes it easier on you.

His class though not easy, was really good. Not an easy A( must really study the book) but it can be done. Made an A for both semesters, in summer 1&2. Get a new book if doing both semesters with him, his poems are part of a test grade and they are tear out.

Professor Bow Tie is amazing

Took for both GOVT courses, had to for the cost of his very own book. The bowtie professor likes to joke more than lecture, no worries though, test are a breeze. I have no extra knowledge then when I started, which bums me out. He's very religious and out there, the kids love him because he's silly and an easy A.

Today was my last day of his class and during the lectures he likes apply all to his life with a funny story he will have you laughing every day lol. The tests are easy as long as you study its mostly multiple choice from the book and 6 essays not hard.

Grades based on five tests, you take six, he lets you drop your lowest grade. Strict attendance, if you miss more than 2 classes, your grade drops 10 points. Tells you exactly what will be on the tests, just have to put some effort into studying and you'll do great. You do have to tear pages out of the book, so you cant rent or buy used.

Cool professor, gets straight to the point

His class is a very easy class to make an A as long as you attend class and study the (very similar to test) reviews for the "exams". There is no homework but attendance matters. He does not allow for any make-up exams, and if you miss class than there is no catching up on assignments. He opens your eyes to the reality of government in the U.S.

Professor Jurhree is great to pass the class you need to buy his book which is very easy to read and the chapters are short. The test are straight out of the book so if you do the multiple test that comes after the chapter you will do great. He is also very funny and caring and gives extra credit I definitely recommend people to take him.

Dr. Jurhree is an amazing government professor. You'll enjoy his lectures and learning from him. His grading is pretty simple, the book you have to buy is a textbook he wrote which can be used for Federal and Texas Government, there are 6 exams in total, some extra credit and an essay. Listen and study well.

This class is not hard at all. Just 6 exams that are typed out from the book that is super easy.

Online summer class. Really easy class just to get your credit needed. The class is only graded by tests and the tests are all from his textbook. Everything is in the textbook, just search it. Easy A, only 5 exams. All questions are free response, no multiple choice, all the answers are in the textbook

Super easy class! The exams for the class are simply study guides that you can complete word for word out of his textbook that he wrote himself. Additionally, there are 6 discussion boards throughout the class that are opinion-based on modern day political problems. Very easy and you learn a lot as well. By far the best class I have taken so far.

Easy course with minimal assignments. Exams are based on the professor's textbook - just study the guides and you'll get an A. Unstuck ai was helpful for preparing. Recommended if you want a straightforward credit.

He's not for everyone, you'll understand. He takes strong opinions, but I feel still allows you your opinions. Sort of, lol. No homework, the tests ARE the homework. Do the tests, you'll pass easy. I really enjoyed him and would take again.

She was a great professor for my online government. The class was light work, only 6 exams and 6 discussions. The exams were like homework's, answering about 25 questions DIRECTLY from the textbook (she got mad if you didn't take information right from the book). She comes off strong in her announcements, but she cares about her students.

If you want straightforward and easy assignments, take Dr. Jurhree's courses! I took his 8-week course, that consists of 6 DB's and 6 exams and you get all the answers straight from his own book. His DB topics are thought provoking, opinion based and refreshing, so it's nice to see different POVs on said topics. I'll be taking him again for 2306!!
