avoid! took an easy gen-ed class and made it 100x more difficult than it needed to be. Unprepared, disorganized and made expectations unclear. Based the final exam on about 900 slides of STUDENT presentations and gave out some bootleg study guide last minute. On top of it all, comes off as arrogant and disconnected with students. Get rid of him.

He does make more advanced than it should be for a 1000 level, it still is not that hard. You need to attend class and take notes off his lecture because not much is posted online. If you can get over this, then I found that his notes in class were very thorough and gave you everything you needed for exams, you just need to be able to memorize

To the person saying his knowledge is outdated...you're wrong. He's a registered dietitian, PhD, and ex-combat medic, he knows what he's talking about. He's incredibly intelligent, funny, and makes the class enjoyable. If you're interested in nutrition, take this class.

Stacey includes way too much material for an introductory nutrition class. I took it concurrently with Bio 1107 which is notoriously difficult and thought that class was easier than his. He also words his exam questions very poorly and includes information not covered in lecture. There's random extra credit for coming to class but it's not enough.

He's a very smart professor. Knows everything he teaches inside in out, but has a tendency to makes exams harder than they should be with more information than was covered in lecture. Exams are very tricky, but if you attend class everyday you'll get extra credit, and if you study pretty hard an A isn't impossible. If not willing to do that, avoid.

He takes forever to reply to emails and when he does, he drags your question out further (ex. see me next week). I study for his exams a week before and take physics, calc and chem and honestly this nutrition class is my hardest. When he see's a bunch of students not grasping the material he simply blames the study habits. He's Smart but AVOID!

1st half: Decent lectures & an easy exam. Extra credit for showing up to class. 2nd half: Assignments confusing & contradictory to the syllabus. Final exam was based on 30 student presentations (900+ slides posted 5 days before the exam). He told us the exam structure & content (cumulative!) on the last class. Good intentions, poor instructor.

Admitting: This class is very difficult. However, this is one class that I'm happy I took because of how much I'm learning. The tests are hard, I study days in advance for them. But, if you want to learn really great material, and work hard at the same time, take this class. He offers a ton of extra credit, the projects are easy as well.

Disorganized. Confusing presentation of class material. Tests seem designed to trick students. Even if you attend every class, study for weeks in advance, and write down everything he says, you will never get higher than a C on the tests. Bottom Line: Avoid this professor if you can.

He gives a lot of extra credit, I wish he taught all of the courses that I am taking. Lets you out early every class, (mostly every). Cracks jokes throughout of class, Super easy syllabus, assignments, notes. He's kinda cute. I would take his class over a million times if I could.

Dr. Mobley was great, he really made the class interesting and enjoyable. Going to class is mandatory, not all (sometimes none) of the information is available online. As long as you show up, take notes, and look them over before the (easy) exams, there is no way you won't do well. Don't buy the textbook

Great professor who makes his class interesting and worth showing up to. He understands that each student comes from a different background. Knowing this he teaches his class in a way everyone can understand and be engaged. If you sow up it is better to learn and class is fun!

Dr. Mobley is an amazing professor. He guides you through the entire material step by step you just need to show up to class when he decides to write on the board and take detailed notes. He always gives out extra credit and will do anything to make sure you pass the class. Highly recommended professor.

Stacey is an awesome professor. Absolutely no book needed. Definitely need to go to class to take notes from his PowerPoints. The material is pretty simple and I only studied for less than 2 hours for each exam. He gives study guides so you can base your studying around those but they are not completely comprehensive. Overall, a really good guy.

Favorite professor so far. Gives very animated and interesting lectures. He is not kidding when he says you need to attend class to pass- his slides posted online are very incomplete. Often gives in class extra credit and his exams are very fair. Overall, if you're looking for a fun, easy class take 1165 with him!

The grades are very fair, and only 3 big assignments during the semester. We always will have extra credit, and that is very helpful for your GPA. The lectures are very amazing, and every Powerpoint's content will be in exams. Just reviewing the powerpoints before the exams and you will be fine.

Mobley is the best professor I have had so far. He has 3 "big" assignments which are all fairly easy and 3 exams. Going to class is key because he gives out random extra credits just for showing up and sometimes writes on the board rather than going through his powerpoints. Hes hilarious in class and you wont be mad going to lecture cause hes fun.

He is energetic and direct. You will learn a lot while also earning good grades. I barely had to study because he repeated the important information so much (everything ties in). He does "five minute rewinds" each class to refresh your memory and goes over all the specifics--content-wise--on the test the class before as well as sends out a guide.
