The class is difficult of you do not study, she clarifies everything and this is the first actual history class I've enjoyed and actually have understood what was going on.

The first class has you worried, but it's a pretty enjoyable class. Take a lot of notes. She doesn't use the textbook, so your notes are all you have to study. She doesn't like long papers, most assignments are one page papers. She is very clear in her lectures, and she clearly outlines the information you need to know.

I have really enjoyed taking this class and I'm not really into history. Her lectures are very engaging and interesting, she gives you the true facts. There is a pop quiz, but the quizzes are not to bad if you study. Overall, the class is good and she is passionate about History. Mainly, if you study and complete the assignments you'll do fine.

This class is very interactive and enjoyable. Ms. Watson makes History fun, keeps you engaged, and interested. She prepares you well and sets you up for success, its just up to you to apply yourself. Have taken her class multiple times!

She really uncovers some deep history that your typical teacher might not discuss and she is really great at keeping your attention. Not a boring class at all. If you want to stay oblivious to the truth don't take her class she does not hold back but everything she teaches checks out to be true.

Honestly the best teacher I've ever had. She is definitely more than just a plain teacher. Even though my class was an eight am class it was extremely easy and fun to participate in. I love the discussions that are held in the class. I will be taking her again!

The lectures are very intriguing. She is super passionate about her job. There is a manageable amount of homework. She is willing to be flexible with excused absent days. Big speaking project at the end of semester.

This is Ariana and I take her 11:45 class in the mornings. She is an amazing teacher. I haven't really been able to get interested in History before. I use to study just to pass the tests and would forget shortly afterwards. With this professor I actually learn and remember the things she teaches us. Even for the quizzes that I forget to study for.

She's my 8am teacher and I stay awake in the class :) she's out of the box and makes sure that you are paying attention and tries to interact with everyone. You have to pay attention in class, otherwise it's a fun class.

Professor Watson is the best professor I've ever had at Gordon, hands down. She made me love history, which is something I never thought would happen. Her lectures were amazing and extremely intriguing. We only had one quiz and one test (the final is a project). I would take her a million times over again if I could.

Not your average History professor! Her lectures aren't boring time fillers loaded with names and dates. She explains everything in plain english. Gives it to you straight. Not very strong on a lot of dates but wants you to grasp connections between history and present day.

Shes really awesome actually You will have to take extensive and detailed notes in order to pass the test but there is more classwork than tests which is a blessing and a curse she gives you a lot of power to choose from paper topics to project topics lots of freedom here.

There were some touchy subjects, but her teaching method allowed you understand and learn in a new way. The class is made for you to pass, but you have to be willing to put in the work. Wonderful class, and attendance isn't mandatory but I wouldn't miss class. The reason is because many assignments are announced in class and are due the next class. If you miss class, then you might not know about the assignment coming up (I learned this the hard way). However, she is lenient with the assignment due time if there is a valid excuse.
