Professor Smith was extremely communicative. Expectations on assignments were clear and the grading was more than fair. Learned invaluable information on presenting. If you have to take this class, take it with Professor Smith. You won't be disappointed.

Professor Smith is really good at what she teaches. This course was a little rough because there were some technical issues. However, I feel that she gave excellent feedback on my presentations and overall helped me become better. Expect 4-5 presentations ranging from 2 to 5 minutes long and a group project that will be the capstone project.

Overall great course, great professor. I would take again. The only complain I have is that it was her first semester and she had issues all semester with due dates for assignments changing. This was hard where my schedule is out two weeks.

Professor Smith always gave good feedback, set clear expectations and always gave you the grade that reflected from what you presented in class. She was really good at explaining what you should do for each presentation, and she has great hair, and her fashion sense is good for a classroom setting !!! She is a kind, respectful, and fair professor.

My professor was very helpful in teaching us how to make a presentation more informative and concise for an audience. Whether it was less slides or less information on the slides, she taught us how to correctly present our research in a more effective way.

She is really a diligent professor. She taught students a lot to build up their careers and was very advising for us. Most of the class is doing 3 personal presentations and a final group presentation at the end. This class will have a presentation every week so if you prepare a presentation before your day, you will get a grade easily.

The professor was awesome, easily contacted and replied promptly when needed. She's more than happy to work with her students. I do feel like I was jumping back and forth between the assignments and the explanation of the assignments as they were posted separately. But once again I could always reach out to her when needed.

She was very pleasant to work with but since this is her first year with online classes some of the assignments were a little disorganized. Otherwise, I can tell she really cares about this course.

She is very energetic and clearly passionate about what she is teaching. She refers to the textbook in class but you are expected to read it outside of class which it is an easy read. She is more focused on the presentations. My advice, ask her all the questions in class so you can get the answers you need, she's not the fastest responder on email.

If you want to become a better presenter and can accept criticism, this professor is the one for you. If you want to be better at it, take Professor Smith. She is awesome and understanding.

If you want an easy class, this is not for you. She is passionate, which makes class fun, but expect to practice and read the textbook outside of class. This is great though if you want to become a good presenter with constructive feedback but sometimes instructions are vague so communicate with her or other students often. Attendance is crucial.

Professor Smith was an awesome teacher. I did this course online and she sent out videos each week to make sure we understood how to do the assignment and why it was important for us to learn the things in each module. The class was not hard at all you just need to make sure that you turn in things on time.

The teacher was great. The grading was confusing sometimes and felt the class was disorganized at times. However the material was great and I felt I learned alot.

This professor was very nice and easy to deal with. I'm not fan of group projects and the final is a group project, other than that, she is a fine teacher.

She was really good with working with me to turn in missed assignments and wanted to help me succeed. Assignments were really scattered and inconsistent, but she was great at the important stuff.

This class was not bad at all. I thought the teacher was nice and really cared about student feedback. I think the class really did make me a better presenter. the only thing is canvas instructions were a bit vague, so make sure you show up to class to get full instructions on assignments.

Having the class all online I did not have a chance to build a personal relationship with her but she was on top of grading and gave very good feedback on assignments and thoroughly explained what needed to be done for certain assignments.

Professor Smith is incredibly capable. She was very clear with all of her instructions. She gives them out orally and writes key notes on the board. She really knows what she's talking about and will make sure all students understand.

This was seriously one of my favorite classes. The presentation rubric is easy to follow and after each presentation she'll give you comments on what was good and what could be improved. She's always willing to answer questions and explain things. Just do the preparation and come to class and you'll be fine.

Dr. Smith is very kind and energetic when it comes to her teaching. The only part where I would struggle is the structure of the class. There were times when the assignments were just thrown at us because she wouldn't explain what we had due throughout the week. She didn't have a rubric for the assignment or clarification.

I was skeptical about this class before because I did not enjoy public speaking. After taking this class with her I now have a great understanding of being a good presenter. I liked learning from her and coming to class. But she was a very harsh grader and I felt that she would grade me down more than others. Some students would struggle and have issues while presenting and she's supposed to grade down for that. It was a great course for someone who is looking to be a manager or presenter in front of people. I struggled with a few assignments that the instructions were hard to understand because approval was needed and wasn't graded or approved before the presentation was due.

Professor Smith was a very knowledgeable and smart and very helpful throughout the course. She uses a special peer review software to grade projects and my final wasn't uploaded properly (Glitch in the software) which led me to receiving a poor grade. Just be aware that the program has issues.

There was an assignment that was required to do with each presentation you did, it was to fill out a template of what your presentation flow was going to be like. However this is not how my brain functions and since the assignment was required I did not give it my all. Maybe have different options so students can choose what works for them?

Staci Smith provides great material and clear-grading criteria for an online class. The majority of the assignments are group discussions/content and 3 presentations that are given during the semester. The presentations are graded through peerceptive, great class!

Professor Smith is a really great teacher. She helped with any questions I had and answered fairly quickly. Her class is pretty easy going, just as long as you put in the work. Besides the Peerceptiv assignments, she is willing to accommodate late work. But this is understandable since Peerceptiv assignments are graded by other students. 10/10.

For MKTG 2390 a lot of it is done through peerspective with video explanations for what the assignment is. Pretty nice to be honest.

Took this course for second block summer, so while there were a good chunk of assignments and discussions, it never felt like too much, honestly it was super maniagle and easy. Not hard to fall behind on and if there were any questions you could easily reach out to her!

Dr. Smith was a solid professor! She was very communicative and always provided feedback and explanations of grading. There were only three presentations that were peer-graded, which I liked. I would recommend her class to any incoming students and any peers of mine. It is easy to get a good grade if you try and turn in your assignments on time.

I had a great experience in this class. The class is mostly recording your speech and then giving feedback on others' speeches. It's very doable! Smith makes videos explaining the speeches and is very clear. There are a couple extra credit assignments at the end of the semester as well. I would highly recommend taking her class!

Great professor, I took it in the summer and it was pretty easy. She used Peerceptive if you've used that before which isn't my favorite but I still got an A so take it how you will.

Staci is a great professor, she really cares about her students. I took this class as a block course and did not find it overwhelming at all. She accepts late work, unless it is through peerceptive (because they don't). The textbook is optional, but the final exam is purely based off of it although it's only worth 5% of your grade.

I loved this class. There were 3 presentations and a couple assignments each week. I would easily take from Staci again. She would give weekly videos about 2-3 minutes long with a description of what you will be doing which was so helpful. Love how you did this class. Very low stress!
