Yeah, there's some homework, but we get out of class early every day. All the work for class is online. Attendance isn't mandatory. You get extra credit for being there most days but as long as you do the work she doesn't care if you show up. The home work is easy if you show up to class because we go over almost all the answers in class.

Very straight forward teacher. You show up to class for lectures but all of your homework, quizzes, and tests are done online. She goes over most of what you will see in your online work in class. The material is tough but she does her best to make everything clear and concise. Overall a good teacher.

This is my second class with Professor Asimos (I took Financial Accounting, Spring 2015). She is easy to understand, willing to help the student, and goes beyond her duties to make sure students success and earn best possible grade. I honestly believe she is one of the best Professors FSCJ have, highly recommended her.

Love her! She is so helpful... the class isn't that easy but she does everything she can. Mostly everything is online including the tests. You get 10 points every time you come to class. If you come to more than 10 classes you get extra credit. Then at the end of the semester you do have a lot of extra credit opportunities. I highly recommend her!

I like her as a teacher she is very nice and sweet will help you in anyway she can you just have to put the work in yourself and not skip class.

Very straight forward class. The material is very black and white: you're balancing accounts. The amount of detail that financial accounting goes into is covered well by Stacia. She has a great attitude and is always happy to be in class. The amount of extra credit and time given to prepare for exams was a great factor.

Its a very straight forward class and if you listen to Professor Asimos's lecture and do the work on time you shouldn't have a problem with the class. She knows what she's talking about so you shouldn't have to worry about her knowledge of the subject

Had her for accounting 1 for 8 weeks. it was hard but she is a great professor and has a fun personality.

It was a bit of a technology struggle, since all of the course work is done online and the e-program is robotically grading your homework. The lecture slides were pre-decided as well, but Stacia did an excellent job of giving supplemental materials to go along with the lecture presentation. The hand-outs helped me a lot in doing the homework.

Mrs. Asimos is super nice and she explains everything in good detail and if you fail to understand anything she will take the time to explain again and help you understand. The quizzes are pretty easy, the exams are a little difficult, book is a must have(there is no way you can pass without it), and homework counts as a big part of you grade.

I was very afraid of this class and it she made it easy and comprehendible. Very clear on what she wants she does teaches the basics and the necessary stuff. Vey polite and understandable. If you go into accounting she does give you some good advice on how to do well in the major classes. Great professor.

Great professor with real-world experience to back up lectures. The class was exactly as she laid out at the beginning of the semester which made her curriculum easy to follow. Plenty of extra credit was given out to give that extra push, so for the most part as long as you put in the work it's an easy A.

Professor Asimos is great! (Wish she had a class for Managerial over the summer.) She clearly states what is expected of you. She will write all the deadlines on the board each class. There's 12 hw, 12 quizzes & 3 exams through Pearson. She counts attendance as a part of your grade. If you do the work, you'll get an A. She really knows accounting!

The professor was really good. She made sure we knew she was available for any questions and went over everything we would need to pass the class. The extra credit offered was a really big help.

If you're looking for someone to share with you the basics of Accounting , then she is the professor for you. Everything is done online but she is very gracious and forthcoming with extra credit. If you come to class regularly (attendance counts) and do the work you will be fine.

It was a hybrid class so all work was online but the weekly lectures were very clear and got me through the weekly work that was assigned. There were also lots of extra credit opportunities. I would take this class again and recommend it to my peers looking for an accounting class to take.

Not an easy subject but she is explains everything well and is always willing to help! Amazing professor, responds to all emails and is very helpful in all areas of the class. Homework is a big part of the grade sodo it! it is not optional, fail to do so and you WILL fail. as I almost did lol. Nonetheless shes a great prof.

The class is scheduled to be over two hours long. Luckily she goes through all the notes super fast and you will not be there over an hour and a half. All the work is done online, with 4-6 question homework assignment and a quiz per 12 chapters. Only 4 tests, with no final. Go to class, she gives you handouts that make up the hw. THE CLASS WAS FAIRLY EASY THANKS TO THE PROFESSOR. SHE HELPED IN ANY WAY SHE COULD AND WOULD OFFER TO HELP YOU MORE IF NEEDED. SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING INTENSELY AND THE HANDOUTS WERE EVERYTHING YOU WOULD SEE ON THE HOMEWORK, QUIZ AND EXAM. THEY REALLY HELPED YOU PASS THE CLASS.

Honestly one of my favorite professors that I have had at FSCJ. Had her for Managerial Accounting during the summer for a 7 week term. I did not once feel overwhelmed by the work load or as if I had to learn the material on my own outside of class. Funny and breathes energy into a room. Would recommend taking her.

Professor Asimos is a great. Although accounting inst the easiest subject she did well teaching and explaining to us what we need to know. She kept us updated on our due dates and assignments. Besides breezing through the chapters really quickly, she made it easy for us to understand enough so that it wasn't overbearing or stressful.

She's very helpful and she is always in the classroom 30 minutes before the class start just in case a student wants to ask some questions.

I took the hybrid class with the online HW and quizzes through Pearson. Something in it for everybody. I thoroughly enjoyed her class and learned a lot, well worth taking even you don't plan on majoring in Accounting. Prof. Asimos makes the subject fun and engaging and clearly enjoys her profession. I took her Hybrid Accounting class over the Summer Term. She was a great Instructor, gave extra credit and additional handouts to help her students succeed. This course is a lot of self study, and required a solid grasp on the basic fundamentals of accounting. If you don't understand those, you will struggle passing.

Professor Asimos is hands down AMAZING! The course itself is relatively harder than say Algebra 1, but she breaks it down in her Power Points (she makes them downloadable) and in class lectures to where it's easier to understand. In class lectureship, and online assignments.

A general walk through of the class is usually an interactive lecture with the weekly chapter handout. This is a method use so you can also practice the material with your professor. These handouts are highly resourceful for exams and homework.

Ms. Asimos is the best accounting teacher at FSCJ. She provides you with all the help you need inside and outside of school. After school it feels like I can come to her about anything I need help on including my personal life. Ms. Asimos made accounting a relief because she made sure she taught us the formulas and just a easy way to learn more.

Took this as a hybrid class. Class followed the syllabus and the professor was always willing to help and responded timely. Attendance isnt mandatory but showing up is 10% of your grade and the each class you receive helpful materials to complete the HW which are over 50% of your grade so skipping class makes it harder.

I was nervous about taking this class and the professor is so sweet she made everything so clear . The homework could be confusing at times for me and she was always open for questions and tutoring .

She's an awesome teacher! Everything is organized to make sure you succeed. You have to make sure you make deadlines because there's no late work. Even though there's no late work, she makes it where missing one or two assignments will not fail you. You can pass this class no problem.

The class was a little difficult to understand but she made it fun honestly. She was very caring and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite teachers :)

I really Enjoyed this class. Not too difficult but concepts are hard to grasp. Would definitely take this class again. We had three homeworks a week and 3 tests. This was a summer class and i didnt Feel rushed at all. I love This professor

Class is really challenging but doable. If you are not good in math I would not recommend to take online but I had no other choice since COVID-19.

First accounting class I've ever taken. Was nervous at first because class was supposed to be on campus, but due to COVID-19, class was online. She recorded the lectures so we didn't have to "show up". I attended the first few lectures, but the online textbook/assignments were simple enough to follow along so I stopped attending. Easy, would rec.

Professor Asimos is the best professor that teaches Financial Accounting. I much preferred her class to the one at my school. She makes a tough course easier, and gives work that actually helps you get through it. The only problem I had was falling behind because I got lazy over summer. Stay on top of the weekly hw and its an easy A.

Professor Asimos is an amazing and caring professor. I signed up for her class days late as a transfer student and she did everything she could to get me a spot. She responds to emails quickly and is very understanding about assignments or if anything unexpected happens. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone taking Accounting.

Proffesor Asimos is good at what she does and you can tell she loves what she teaches. Do the work and you will pass; plain and simple. I took this class online, there is quite a bit of homework, but as long as you follow the lessons then it's super easy and professor Asimos gives you more than enough time to complete the assignments.

Professor Asimos is a teacher that I absolutely would take again. Her assignments were well laid out from the beginning. She is obviously passionate about her work and teaching accounting. Warning: Please DO NOT procrastinate. You have an ample amount of time to turn your assignments in. Do the work and you will easily get a good grade.

Open book tests, test are not weighted heavy on grade. Easy class. Just do the assignments and you pass.

I loved this class. the lectures are very clear. there is only two due days, so keep working, if you let everything until the last minute you will not make it.

Honestly, the work isn't that bad. She makes everything pretty clear, I didn't have any problem. The tests are a little hard but the assignments helped a lot. Don't wait for the last moment to do your assignments because it takes a long time to complete. Overall, it was a great class. I would take another accounting class with her if I have to.

This professor is a good one. You can basically just listen to her lectures and be fine with everything, but I would suggest just reading and studying as well to make sure.

I enrolled in the 7-week course. Expect to have a lot of homework every week and spend plenty of time reading the textbook. While there are 3-6 assignments due every week, each assignment prepares you for the 2 exams. If your schedule is busy already, I suggest taking the 15-week course instead. Not math-heavy, concept and terminology heavy

McGraw Hill is the software used. I'm not sure if it's the way the professor can set it up or if it's just a default setting, but you can't practice or review your homework. The work is harder than I expected it to be. Use your resources and take notes where you can. The professor was nice , do the work and pay attention and you should do fine.

As long as you put the time into it, it's not a hard class.

Take her! You won't regret it. Took Prof Asimos for a 7-week summer term, and woa, so many assignments, and for good reason. There's a lot to learn in acg2021 and she has been a great teacher overall. Lectures were non-mandatory but very educational without a bit of boring. Quizlet and chegg are good backups for her McGraw Hill assignments. EASY A!

I'd definitely take professor A again. Her lectures were very informative and helped me to understand the material easier. Accounting is a beast but with McGraw Hill and the right professor it isn't as intimidating. You don't need the physical book - just get the McGraw Hill online. Lectures are recorded so you don't have to worry if you miss one!

Very detailed with her lectures . It makes the work much easier if you listen to the lectures on top of reading and taking notes . This class is not easy .
