She is so funny and just adorable! I don't think she is ever in a bad mood and she will make you laugh! Also, she is a very good teacher and values all styles of learning, molding the coursework to fit all students needs. she never makes you feel dumb, even if you are! Gives great real-life examples too.

I signed up for another teacher but she took over the class. At first i had my doubts about her because i didnt know how she would teach. A week away from finals and im sad because i will miss her class. She is really goofy but that makes the class interesting. She gives a lot of extra credit and the quizzes are easy.

the teacher is good! there are 3 exams in a semester. she will provid study guid and only multiple choice Q in the exam. No presetantion and a lot of extra credits. the assignment is a little bit hard. the quizz are group study. you may discuss with your group but cannot look up book. you have to read book otherwise you'll fail.chose the teacher!

She rocks. Very personal lectures, open and honest. Upbeat and energetic. She doesn't hesitate to use herself as an example to describe psychological principles. Very minimal homework, 3 tests, lots of extra credit. There is a required text, but her lectures cover the material so well that you hardly have to open it.

Stacy is a great professor. She is really interested in what her students have to say. Her class is easy if you bother to pay attention and actually attend class. Her lectures are interesting and down to earth. She uses real life examples to help students better understand theories and concepts and available to help students frequently.

Its only for people who are willing to at least work. During tests she was very helpful and during class she would spent more time on one subject if we were struggling. All you have to do is speak up.

Stacey is a really great professor who is outgoing and makes class fun. I took her for psych 1A and 25 and got A's in both. The classes are basically common sense. And for those who leave bad commments its probably because your bitter about getting a bad grade in an easy class.

She is an extremely good teacher, I took Psych a year ago and got a D. With her a passed with an A. Either her ways of teaching were very helpful, and her study guides as well. As long as you attend everyday, do all your work, you'll be fine. She does offer a lot of extra credit too. She's just, a great great professor. I'd take her again.

Very little homework. Your grade is mostly what you get on the tests. I'm usually not a good test taker, but when I took her tests my grades were good. It's mostly filled with questions from her lectures and little from the book. The in-class quizzes can be done in groups so you can easily get an A on those. Gives extra credit: 20 points maximum.

She is a great Professor.Her examples helps class go by fast. She is good at making the material stick. Gives lots of extra credit and a long study quide for each test but the exams are not hard if you take the time to study. If you get a bad grade it is only your fault.

FABULOUS! she is by far one of the greatest professors at Mt.Sac. I recomend her to anyone!If you do her study guides its an easy A for the exams.I took her in the winter&got an A.She sparked my interest in psych.,when i had no previous interest. I am not a psychology major and after taking this class, I'm considering on minoring in Psychology. Stacy is such a great professor. Not only does give clarity in her lectures, she keeps everyone interested in the lectures. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. You won't regret it!

Super fun class. easy A. lot of extra credit, but she will give only 20 but worth it. Final is not cummulative so that's make more easy. give study guide for every exam. quizes are in group and u can use any people in class except note. there is no way u can fail the class. Recommend to everyone.

I took psych 1a twice, then I took it w/ stacey & she made it waaaay more intersting! She makes all the material interesting and it sticks in ur head! She gives out study guides and they really help. If you go to class all the time and study, you should get an A w/ out a problem!

Really nice teacher. Funny and has a good attitude. Is very useful if extra help is needed. Some assignments are tough but no reason not to do well with help. Lots of fun class discussions. Pay attention to the lectures and follow directions on assignments. Definitely made class an easy fun learning experience.

Awesome teacher. Took her during Summer and enjoyed every minute of it. Lectures were super clear and group quizzes really help you if you didn't pay attention or still need help with something. Test questions were straight from discussions, no trick questions or anything like that. Pay attention, have a bit of interest and get an A.

Really, really great! She's funny and easy to understand. Go to lectures, read the book, study and you can get an A. She gives about 20 EC and then there's extra EC. No homework either. There are only two papers and she isn't a harsh grader. Give her what she wants, write it, turn it in, and you'll get full points! Easy, but you learn a lot.

Stacy is pretty cool! She's very helpful in many ways with assignments and the tests. She uses a lot of slides and often uses blackboard. Though she provides most of the notes with slides. The book is useful for the test. VERY USEFUL. So don't be cheap :]

Easy A, easy/fun teacher, lots of E.C. and it's fun (pysch 14). I don't know how people in my class got C, just review lecture notes/slides, do extra credit, and pay attention in class and you'll pass with at least a B.She is super nice, funny, and she's cute when she talks about her life and jokes. Took her for three classes. She is a fantastic teacher, and tries hard to interest you in a subject that just isn't interesting (research methods), her women's psych class was awesome and she is very clear and interactive. Answers questions before every test thoroughly and is very helpful during office hours! Fantastic professor! Highly recommended

She makes research methods so interesting, an otherwise boring subject. You conduct your own experiment and put an apa paper together on it throughout the term. she's extremely helpful, gives plenty of time to complete work, gives EC and answers all questions before an exam. Best teacher ever. Stacy teaches in a way where you learn, are engaged, and really interested in Psychology. I hated this class in high school and now I love it because of her. All quizzes are "group/partner" quizzes. Tests are super easy. Class is NOT weighted, which is good. Final exam is worth the same as a test. She drops the lowest test score.

I LOVE STACY! she is sweet, and she really connects with the students. She says a lot about herself and keeps it real. Her lectures don't bore and consists of interesting discussions. Shes a bit disorganized sometimes but otherwise a great teacher! I really loved her class and would recommend it greatly. Theres not a lot of hw so your grade rests upon tests and online discussion but your lowest test grade gets dropped. All things considered, Mrs. Bacigalupi is one of the best teachers i've had! Fantastic professor. She is very detailed with information and open to questions at anytime. She is always willing to meet with students in office hours. Her powerpoints are detailed but you should read the book as well. I highly recommend Stacy. She's very fun and enthusiastic. I would take another class of hers any day.

SERIOUSLY THE BEST TEACHER EVER! I would recommend anyone to take any of her classes. She makes class fun and interesting. There isn't too much homework and her test are just put into examples that apply to what you have learned in class. Just study your notes, pay attention to her examples said in class and study the study guide!

Bacigalupi is the best professor I have ever had in all my education. She is very friendly& relatable. I took her for psyc1a also& this applies to both classes. Heavy on lecture, book was barley needed, she posts copies of all the notes on the website. You'd have to want to fail her class to fail. If you care, you'll pass. Suggest her to anyone!

I loved Professor Bacigalupi! She is an amazing professor who really knows her stuff. I love her teaching style, not to mention the fact that she is is hilarious. I would definitely recommend taking her if you're interested in psych and want to learn a lot. She also answers all of your questions (with no judgement, which is great) no matter what!

1-2 Weekly online discussion, 1-2 Chapter Quizzes a week. 0-1 written assignments to turn in weekly. Barely read the book to get A in class. Quizlet helps a LOT. Gives tons of extra credit throughout. Spent total 2 hours a week on this class. Takes a while for her to grade. Additional content she assigns for paper assignments are interesting.

Psych 3 in general is a hard class to take. It's time consuming, but worth it in the end. The class is really lecture heavy, but if you take really good notes youll be fine. Make sure to listen to her when she lectures since test are based off lecture. Do the study guide and extra credit!!!

Passionate & patient, also understanding & reasonable with the workload/due dates. APA final paper is divided so that sections are due (feedback) ahead of time throughout semester. Take additional notes on printed lecture slides & you'll do well on tests. EC due by every exam (4 including final, she drops the lowest 1) *pick group partners wisely

I took Professor Bacigalupi during the COVID19 and I was SO bummed when we had to transition to remote learning. I can guarantee you that no other professor will impact you the way she does. She extremely inspirational and very understanding and accommodating. You'll have to work for your grade but she provides everything you need to succeed. <3

Stacy is my favorite professor ever!! She had been so helpful during this tough time, but I was able to pass her class with an A! Not an easy A, but you really have to work for it. She is so kind, and funny and she treats us like we are her children. Her lectures covers a lot, and she always make the time for us. I wish I could take her again. <3

Her tests are extremely hard with massive amounts of information so make sure not to procrastinate. I hope she works on her wording because the questions seemed deceiving at times. Lectures with her can be distracting. Overall she is a great person and gives lots of extra credit opportunities so DO THEM. Awesome personality and very understanding.

Great professor. Was really thorough in her lectures and would hold review session before each exam, which were super helpful. There is one group assignment that she assigns at the beginning of the semester and has everyone work on it in chunks. She's overall a very sweet person and you can tell she cares about her students!

I had her for a winter online class, from what I could tell she was a very good professor who cared and I did learn from her class. She was flexible, which was good since its the pandemic and many professors are not understanding. I would take her again.

I took her a few years back and still remember her being a great professor. She was a great professor to introduce challenging concepts to people and really taught me that I should have more respect for myself and others. Great human. Very smart. Very focused on helping student succeed inside and outside of the classroom. Ask her about grad school.

Honestly professor Baciagaupis class was not hard at all. She lets you do the quizzes in groups which is nice. Her reviews before all tests are extremely helpful. Anytime you email her she responds pretty quickly. Her assignments are few and you have enough time to complete them. Gives lots of extra credit. Overall I really enjoyed her class!

Stacy is a very caring professor and wants you to do well in her class. The entire class is a group project and all homework pertains to the final project. she is always available for Q's. Her test are DIFFICULT half M/C and half short essay and she is a harsh grader. Overall, she is willing to help throughout the process of the group project.

This class just requires a lot of reading but other than that it's a good class. You'll learn a lot and the assignments are straightforward with clear instructions. About 3-5 short quizzes a week for winter, but it's open book and notes. Almost got scared reading her syllabus, but that class is much easier than it seems.

Professor Bacigalupi is a very caring teacher! Research psychology is a class with a lot of work, but she will help you along the way. Don't be afraid to ask questions and make sure to study for her exams. There is a lot of homework mainly because this class is basically one big group project. She gives a lot of extra credit, though!

Bacigalupi was amazing! Her class was difficult but she makes class interesting and interactive. The ONLY downside would be the occasional comments about her personal life, creating mild discomfort. Besides this, she is a great professor and her grading is very clear. You need to put in effort to pass her class but it's worth it.

She seems like a great professor. I went through lecture notes/notes from the textbook and took the quiz to find almost none of the material was from the sections we were told to study. Quiz questions are hard. Overall she doesn't have too many difficult assignments. But quizzes/tests will throw you into a head scratching panic.
