Stacy was very helpful and willing to work with you on assignments. Class wasn't too hard as long as you went and paid attention. Tests were fairly easy, and she often would cut down the amount of homework assigned if she felt there was too much.

Stacy was a great teacher and VERY VERY helpful! Her tests were not hard at all and she was very clear in all explanations of the material. Attendence was NOT mandatory but she would sometimes hand out pop quizzes that could kill your grade if you missed them. Overall one of the best math teachers I've ever had

Stacy was a GREAT teacher. I hattte math and she made it really easy, for everyone. She explained everything really well and was always willing to help. Her tests were extreamly easy, we never had homework, and the textbook has never been used. She makes the classes enjoyable to be at. She's def. been one of my favorites.

She is the best teacher I've had by far. She works with you whenever you have a question. Just attending class three days a week you get one point extra credit. She fits you in her schedule and makes it happen.

Cool math teacher. If you're a fan of the Minnesota Twins, you will like her class. She is a huge fan of the Twins. Little homework, math xl, tests are fairly easy. Easy to talk to and makes everything look so easy. I reccommend to anybody who needs this class.

Best math teacher. Always has time to answer questions and explain things. Class uses MathXL which is awesome. Has a lot of study questions in case you need the extra practice. I'm not a big math person but this class made me enjoy it.

Stacy is great! She teaches very well for those of us who are not strong in math. She doesn't make you feel stupid for taking a very basic math course. She is beyond helpful and always kind. There are many opportunities for extra credit if you show up for class. There are pop quizzes but they are not hard if you are paying attention. I recommend!

She's probably one of the coolest professors I've ever had. She's passionate about math, and seems to genuinely care about her students. I recommend coming to class because she is REALLY good at explaining the material clearly and concisely. If you don't get an A in her class it's your own fault.

She does an excellent job explaining the material. There is homework but you have plenty of time to do it. There are four exams and the final so a total of five exams. She does give extra credit. Basically show up and you get extra credit and if you do your homework in the math skills center you will get extra credit. Great professor, recommended.

This was an easy class. Stacy is very clear in her lectures and always does a review day before each test. You will have quite a bit of homework but if you do a little bit every once in a while you'll do just fine. Offers a lot of extra credit just for showing up to class. Would recommend this professor.

Stacy is an amazing professor! She is very organized and great at teaching math. Math is not my strong suit but Math 070 with Stacy was really helpful. Class overall isn't too difficult and Stacy offers up to 30 extra credit points. Class is made up of five exams, a few quizzes and online homework. Show up & do the homework and you will do great!

AMAZING TEACHER! Took it the first time with Goenner and she was terrible.. Second time around with Ms. Martig and it was like night and day. Such a sweet lady who truly cares about her students. Explains everything so well and made it so much easier for me. I have always struggled with math and she helped me through it. 100% recommend.

A Great teacher who wants all students to succeed. An easy class with extra credit that could be earned in the most simplest way: coming to class or going to the math skill center. She writes out everything for you to see and her explanation are well understood. I would recommend her to anyone.

I took her for 070 & 072. If you show up, do the homework, utilize the math skills center and study for exams, you'll set yourself up for success in her class. Only negative is that there are only a few questions on each exam, so they are weighted quite heavily. But this is apparently MATH 070 & 072 department policy and not Prof Martig's fault.

I love her class and her in general! She is super helpful and understanding! When I got sick she rescheduled an exam for me 3 times. She understands that you have a life outside of her class but you do need to do your homework and show up to the class to understand. She does help when asked to. Overall a great professor!

Pop quizzes usually on fridays, but can be any day especially if less people show up. Homework every day, but if you keep up on it it's so easy and will take you 10 mins. Leave an hr or 2 after this class in your sched. if you can so you can visit Math Skills center. HW is easy. She's caring and not boring at all. Easiest class in my opinion.

Best prof I have ever had. SO caring about her students and wants everyone to pass. Gives you 1/2 a point of extra credit each week for just showing up and 1/2 a point for studying in math center each week. Nobody could teach me Math before this woman so cherish her while you have her.

Stacy was an amazing math professor. I took both math 070 and 072 with her. I wish she could teach all my math classes. There is typically an assignment daily and if you complete it, you get extra credit. If you wait to turn in all the assignments at the end of the week you no longer have the opportunity for extra credit for that week.

Great Professor Overall - Extra credit for doing hw and notes on time - Responds to emails within MINUTES - Understanding but stern - No textbook needed - Grades assignments the same day they are turned in!

She is amazing. I was never good with math in high school, but she made it easy for me to understand. Homework was easy to do if you tried to get what you learned that day done that night, so you did not have six things of math homework to do over the weekend. Show up earlier on exam day because she will answer questions you have.

One of the best math professors if you need a refresher class. She explains things so clearly. She has you get the math lab and a book, you don't need to buy the book, you won't use it! Save some coin. Overall, any class she teaches you'll pass and have a deeper understanding of math.
