TERRIBLE TEACHER! Do not take her honors class. Save yourself! Take a regular English class! Her grading is awful, she is unclear, and you never know what to expect. Does not take into account that most people want to transfer and can't afford a C from her, especially because that would've been an A or B in another class!(even an honors one!)

Do not take honors unless you are ready to put forth the effort the class needs-i.e. LOTS of reading. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! She expects way too much out of you. She makes criteria for essays that are way too specific and not clear. If you have no other options besides her, take the course a different semester. Passing this class will require you to give it your all, and if you are looking to get an A then you're out luck with her. BE WISE!

Professor Eldridge sometimes came off as sounding rude when I was stuck trying to respond to her questions on lectures, many times I felt embarrassed to answer questions. Fortunately, I enjoyed discussing readings with classmates. Furthermore, Professor Eldridge doesn't disclose most grades on assignments, so it's hard to know your real grade.
