He is a very nice man and the only professor i've ever had who actually cares about his students. His class is very interesting and it is very easy to get an A if you study what he tells you to study for the test. He takes into consideration what the class wants and doesn't want.

It's not all his fault that this class is like repeating High School. He doesn't use the class time wisely. He spends a lot of time on current news events, but it's like reading the headlines of the newspaper only. You never really get the whole story or any history on the topic. Some material is covered in history and business law. Nice guy!

Dupree is an awesome professor! He really makes government exciting and interesting. The entire course consists of discussing current event and various topics from the book (although reading the book isn’t necessary). He keeps the class simple giving only three exams throughout the term, all while keeping the students engaged. Highly recommended!!!

This has to be the greatest class at COD. Professor Dupree shows no political bias and allows students to have open debates about important issues. Three exams that are taken right from his notes so you dont even need to buy the book. Thanks for a great class.

Mr. Dupree is the coolest. My girlfriend and I took it together at night and spent the rest of the night talking about class. Make sure you read the book, don't be late to class, and don't talk when he talks and you will do well. I would take him for every class if I had a chance. It was the first time I ever hated to see class end.

This is a GREAT professor!! My husband and I took his early class that lasted 3 hours. He made the class go by fast because he was so knowledgeable and interesting. Just show respect by being on time and not talking while he is and you will find that it is an amazing class too.

Amazing teacher. He encourages discussion, which makes the class more interesting. He is always making jokes. You can tell he loves to teach. I took both classes he taught (Hist18,Polysci001) and I would take another if it were available. He makes the subject come alive. One of the best teachers at COD.

Dupree is awesome. Had him for PS1 this past semester SP10. Never had a better experience with an instructor. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. I am in summer school in San Francisco wishing every day that my teacher was as good as Prof. Dupree. Not. Prof Dupree is so bright so much fun & full of laughs and he makes learning easy & fun. Great professor!!! Zero note taking because he says people can't give him their full attention while writing notes. He gives you printed out notes each class. No surprises on the exams. Exams come directly from notes he gives out. Plus you'll learn the material.

Had Dupree for World Civilizations. Great teacher, truly. He comes off a bit high and mighty at first, but he just wants to be treated with respect. His notes are extremely helpful and he makes an already fairly easy subject entirely understandable.

Apparently, Stan doesn't even need a review from me! Honestly though, he's a fantastic teacher. The class is simple and easy, but still interesting. For those not really into politics(like me), you will be after his class. Show up, show up on time, and be respectful and the class will fly by. The fun lies in participation, and sharing opinions.

Best Professor i have ever gotten in my life. I had a learning experience in this class. Every time i get out of the lecture i feel so smart all of a sudden. Professor likes the improvement in the test scores. He is willing to help out anyone in the class and answer all the questions. i am really glad i got in his class. One word "Awesome!!!"
