I'm not a morning person, and I missed too many times so he failed me, and it was too late to drop. If you tend to skip, keep track of how many times you miss, or you might have to retake it like me....I'm def. taking a diff. teacher.
He's boring but actually gets to be a pretty cool guy towards the end. Easy - so the work and go to class.

Cool guy! Always has something interesting to say and is extremely concerned with his students receiving the liberal education he believes so much in. Lots of reading in the class. Discussion all the time. Writing papers.

At first he seems hard and ridiculous, but he's really a cool guy and will challenge you and your ideas, so be prepared to back up whatever you have to say.
Has some crazy ideas. Does challange you to think though. Some what easy going. Do not fall asleep in class, it will ****him off.
Really good prof. He challenges you to think and to evaluate your life. Show up to class and do your few assignments and it's a great class.
Awesome guy! Makes learning fun and easy. Don't eat in class, he hates that.

I've never seen a guy who can fill 50 minutes with bs talk about liberal education. The class format is he talks, you sleep.
BORING!!! He talking B.S the entire hour, while you stair into space and he has the nerve to try to keep you over. It seems like when you talk about nothing, it should be pretty easy to stop.
The class of boring, you sleep the entire hour. He didn't respond to emails, and didn't explain our grades at all. I don't know how you can teach an entire semester on a liberal education. However its an extremely easy class, you just sleep.
Great professor...horrible class. Take this class over the other options for gen. eds though. Only write 2 papers one for your mid-term and one for your final. No tests or quizzes but you do have to go to class for attendence.Boring subject awesome prof
Creativity was the worst class i ever had. I learned nothing and wasted 3 hours of my life once a week. Do not take!! He blabs on and on about nothing and you take pictures....thats about it
This class may be easy, that doesnt mean you are going to get an A. Grading scale does not make any sense. Take another gen ed, this had to be the most boring class I have ever taken! AVOID THIS CLASS!
Stan is a really nice guy, but he hardly ever taught. He looks like Leo DaVinci! Most classes consisted of a guest speaker or we talked about creativity and photography. You'll probably like it if you are a photo major...
Really nice teacher. Do well on your papers because there aren't many grades for the class. You get out of the class what you put into it.
Worst class ever. He likes to listen to himself talk a lot. He also likes to think that he is black... he wants you to call him "Big Lib Daddy". He grades the papers really easy, but takes attendance.. if you miss 3 classes you fail. I would NOT take him again.
Most awful class I've ever taken. If you want to read completely obscene and inappropriate books that portray the life journey as trash, then take the class. No guidelines for grading criteria either. Do not take him!
Oh my God, what a crappy class. Do yourself a favor and have more fun playing Russian roulette. I would avoid this class. He ruined my 4.0 GPA, and it's a Gen-Ed class. He got upset because I had to leave ealry one class and he never liked me after that. Oh, and he makes you buy his wife's book, and then you can't sell it back. How crooked is that?
Really nice guy. Very boring class. He's a Lib Studies teacher... what should you expect. He likes to hear himself talk, but if you participate he will love you.
Great Prof. He is understanding about assignments. I learned alot. If you do your assignments then it is an easy A. Take him!
Very Boring and He is speaks very quietly. There is very very little homework so your grade is based on the little bit you do and the surprise quizes he gives randomly during class.
Stan was an awesome professor. He talks a lot and sometimes babbles about random crap you dont ever need to know, but if you participate in his discussions and actually show interest in his class he is great. The class itself turned out to be very interesting.
Overall he is a good professor. The class itself is very repetitive. It is an easy A if you get involved.
Honestly, can LIB get any more boring? This guy tries to make it fun, but it just turns into an "and how does this make you feel?" course. nice enough, but subject is just ridiculously boring. Makes you write 2 page papers on the LIB100 events unlike the other profs only requiring a paragraph.

He tries to make class interesting. We had literature books to read, and we would discuss them in class. he tends to get off on tangents, and i cant say i learned a lot in this class but some of the books were interesting to read and i wouldnt have if i didnt take this class. i still don't know what i was graded on though.
A good professor. Keeps class interesting, and makes sure it applies to real life. An easy course, just pay attention and speak up during class.
He's a decent enough guy, but pretty lukewarm. Pretty much all class is: read, discuss. The assignments he gives aren't too bad. One thing though...he never lets you out of class on time, so don't schedule a class right after his across campus
A pretty good teacher... requires a lot of thinking and speaking during class. You need to be active and awake (which sometimes can be hard). Good prof though, he'll help if you just ask.
great teacher, sometimes boring, but if you listen to what he has to say, you will learn a lot. Uses real life examples and if you participate it will make the class more interesting.My class was rather dull because no one spoke until the end of the semester. Great professor, i recommend him a lot, just do what he asks and youll get a decent grade.
Class started out great, but the semester is divided into three items that have a lot of weight, and the reading does not really even matter, he never refers to the meaning within the story, simply how he feels/what he feels like talking about on that day. And he just writes grades (I think it depends on his mood), not based on content of work.
Prof. Krohmer was awesome! He's a really cool guy who can go off on tangents at sometimes. Overall though a nice guy who grades really easy. If you turn in the work, you will get an A. Quizzes on a couple of the readings during the first half of the semester. After the it's all good.

Overall fairly boring class. Readings don't matter, you write a few essays that have a lot of weight in the class. His lectures are boring and he talks about how the characters in the story feel. It is an easy class but attendance is mandatory.
He is completely BORING! He lectured every class for the entire hour and a half. Attendace is mandatory and there is a lot of reading to do. He does not explain his grading and he doesnt grade fair. I would nt recommend this class or prof. to anyone. A complete waste of time.

This man was so caught up on the fact that this was a 300 level class that it didnt matter how much work you put into it. He would just put random grades on the top of your paper depending on how he felt. One major project which he doesnt tell you the requirments for but figures that you should know them. horrible! i would never ever get him.
Calls himself "Lib Daddy." If you dont have an interesting class to go with this professor, the class is terrible. I had a VERY difficult time even going to this class because it felt like such a waste of time. but the assignments are easy, the hardest part are his quizzes at the beginning of the semester, you really need to read/study for those.
Please don't let these other ratings misguide you. Stan was awesome! His lectures are deep and you learn alot. He's a really cool prof, fairly easy, but you have to try in order to get an A. This was one of the gen ed classes I actually enjoyed going to. Take him if you can.
He's not that bad, can learn a lot from him. He likes it when the class interacts with him makes the class go by a lot faster. Quizzes are really easy if you look over the readings. Finally paper is really easy, one of the topics is what you want to do and where you want to do it at.
A lot of snoozy discussions and nap time.
He is a great professor and loves to interact and get the class into deep discussions. He truly wants to hear your opinion. Study the readings, the quizzes are somewhat difficult. Other wise a very easy class if you participate

Hated this class at first but by the end of the semester I realized I had learned so much from this man. Do not take him if you do not like to participate in discussion or think deeply. His discussions are philosophically based and will challenge you. Still an easy class, however.
He's honestly a great Prof. Give him a chance and you won't regret it. He really loves deep discussions and having the class interact. Do that and he'll favor you!

Super nice professor. He genuinely cares about what his students think and have to say. Homework is mostly just reading. One big group project was assigned. Only bad thing I have to say is he can ramble sometimes and it gets a little boring, but by no means a bad class.
Kind of long and dry lectures but somethings that he says will just change your mind about life. I enjoy the class not a lot of test small quizzes. A LOT of reading a couple were really good reads! Be ready to write at the end of the semester but overall I really liked it.
This class is so boring it's awful. He is a lousy teacher. He mumbles really bad and does not talk clearly. His lectures are very dry and long. He will talk about the same topic forever. He likes when you participate. There is a group project and you have to attend 4 events (It's not that bad). He never posts grade on blackboard which is annoying.

Krohmer is really down to earth. He is kinda like a philosopher so be ready for deep thinking. He talks a lot during class and you don't really do much besides just chill and listen to him talk about life. This class reminded me of a learn how to do good in college class.
Krohmer was a hard grader but a decent professor. Sometimes his lectures were great and sometimes it would be a struggle to stay awake(DO NOT FALL ASLEEP. This one guy did, and Krohmer roasted him in front of the class and proceeded to make him leave). Also, if you miss more than 4 classes you automatically fail. And he's a stickler on attendance.
I would never take his class ever again. Class time was beyond boring all I did was other homework in it. He lectures for the entire class period about irrelevant things. His lectures are boring and he rambles on and on and then expects the class to participate.
Loved Krohmer's class. Overall a great professor, he just wants to see students giving an effort in their writing and in class to apply the topics he teaches
He is a funny old guy. Very easy class compared to the other sections, just read short stories and discussed the meaning of them, occasionally writing reflections. Not difficult at all. Basically just talk the entire class period. I encourage you to take tally of how many times he will say "uh" during his lectures. Funny guy.
