This professor is easier than other 3100 professors (as Chu once said "I have been santa clause the entire semester") you still need to study hard. The review sheet that he provides before the exam is similar to about 75% of the test (however, answers NOT provided, you must discuss on discussion board). He is a cool and down to earth kind of guy.

Fin Acc 3 is very difficult but he knows the material and wants his students to know it. Cares about students to the point he didn't want to fail anyone. The 2 midterms were difficult but the final was easier. He curves alot. Hws are doable since there is check my work. Can't go wrong with him. Highly recommend!

His FINALS are NOT MC anymore. They are fill-in blanks, which are extremely time consuming, due to preparing schedules and essay questions. Also, his exams are much more difficult, as this is my second time taking his class. If you want an more lenient grader, take Beilei Wang instead. I had to work my butt off just to get B+.

My favorite quote from this professor. He is your teacher also boss. You need your boss more than we need you. So stop making fun of your boss understand. Lend a hand to your boss instead of laughing like a hyena to a lion.

Ignore all other reviews. IF In-person, 3 EXAMs. First 2 exams are fully written some mcq (like 2-3). The exam is basically the connect exam, he gives you the questions but changes a few things. Final Exam is Full MCQ (40q). He is good at teaching bad at exam format. He gives a lot of partial but none on final. As long as you don't get 20s your ok.

One of the best accounting professors at Baruch. He gives reviews before each exam and what he says is exactly what will be on your exams. You just have to make sure to listen very carefully which problems you have to study. As long as you do that and practice you will be fine. The midterms not mc so we were able to get tons of partial credit.

I really enjoyed his 4100 class. As long as you go through his prerecorded lectures, go to class, and do his assignments you will be fine. He gives you all the resources you need to get an A.

He provides you with all the resources needed to do well on the exams. All short answer, no multiple choice. He gives partial credit. Unlike other professors at Baruch, he tells you for the most part exactly what will be on the exam with a few twists. His lectures are boring and sometimes hard to follow bc he writes as he goes.

Pros: He is really humble & caring. He's easy to reach outside of class. Unlike other professors at Baruch, he is on your side and only wants to see you do well. No power trip. Cons: His online teaching is outdated (he scribbles with pen on paper and we watch through his webcam). Him experiencing technical issues with hosting class is not uncommon.

Pro: He is caring and humble. Unlike other acc professors at Baruch, he's really on your side and wants to see you do well. The group project is tedious but he's generous with his grading. Cons: His online class is boring and his method is outdated (writes with pen on paper and we watch it through his webcam) but I still appreciate his efforts

Prof. Chu will prepare you thoroughly for the midterm and final exams. Unlike other accounting profs at Baruch, he won't fail anyone and wants everyone to excel in his class. I appreciate the effort he has put into such an intensive summer schedule, and I'm truly glad I took ACC4100 with him. I've already recommended this class to my friends!!

His powerpoint slides with voiceovers are amazing and really teach the material well. His exams are close to the practice problems he gives with a few twists in them. He also curves the final grades to get max A, B and C grades for everyone. There is one group project but its really easy and free points. One midterm, one final and weekly connect hw

One easy multiple choice midterm and one final with all open ended questions. As long as you put in the work and study you can get an A. He will let you know exactly what will be on the final with slight twists. He's a great professor who really cares about students! Lectures are long but informative, and his handwriting is not the best.

Prof. Chu takes teaching seriously. The ACC 9805 capstone Financial Accounting class is difficult and many, many topics are covered, so it takes serious effort from the student's part to get through this course. He grades generously. Do all the Connect HW assignments, one group presentation recording, and two exams. Final exam topics were given.
