Stan is the coolest professor I've ever had. He makes the work fun and you'll always want to come to class! Take him for your fine arts elective- he's really fun!

He made art fun! He taught us all to look at art differently. When I went to the Museum, I understood the terms and was so excited to see the actual paintings that were in our book. You can pass his class if you do the work required. I did not think it was a piece of cake. The student must put forth effort. He was supportive and encouraging.

Very good teacher! Keeps the class interested with his silly and at times kind of outrageous comments. He's a very quirky teacher. You have to read alot and write alot, but you'll get alot out of the class if you stick with it b/c you'll learn alot about Art and you'll get a good grade. He does sometimes ignore his less verbal students.

This professor is the best! He made what could be a tremendously boring subject pop. He made coming to class fun and he made learning easy. Not that the class was easy but he made it so that it was easy to learn. I highly respect Stanley Kaminski and will recommend anyone that needs an ART credit to take this class.

Mr kaminski is the best professor his art history 11 class is fun he gives out coupons and extra credit and also give study guide not much teachers do that and he will work with you and this professor also teaches printmaking and his printmaking class is very fun so I encourage students to sign up for printmaking and if you need a art credit signup

VERY nice teacher, cares enough to learn everyones name in class unlike others. He tends to get annoying because he repeats things and talks like its a kindergarden class. Easy grade, though there are so many journals. Great extra point opportunities for all. Good way to get "art history" credit.

He gives out coupons for extra points when you answer questions during his lectures. He also plays Jeopardy to review for exams and whichever team comes in first and second gets extra points. I really enjoyed this class. For people who don't have a natural appreciation for art, it can definitely be challenging, but he gives a study guide that the test is directly from. Really fun, highly recommend!

His Art appreciation class is awesome. Very fun teacher. I'm glad I took him for my first semester, he made class fun and interesting. While though his class is fun, his activies demand a great a mount of your time.

Stanley is one of very few instructors who i've met who genuinely cares about his students and what you get out of his classes. he is also a great artist.

Stanley is an excellent teacher. Very hands-on and helpful. I took his printmaking I class this past semester and thoroughly enjoyed the class and his teaching style.

he was an easy teacher overall. his exams are long and sometimes hard. took him for an easy A but it was a lot of work. many projects and extra crap to do in there that cost a lot of money on your part and time. would take him again.

even though i got A this class is not eassy there are 12 grade points he drop the lowest one to get A you need to attend the class andstudy before class so you can get bonus point,he is funny but at the same time he is sensitive even he will tell you while you start the class, some times he has bad style of grading,take him, but don'texpect easy A

Favorite Professor. He is nice, funny, clear, easy going and cares about his students grades. Took him for summer, a lot of material but as long as you come To class and pay attention to instructions, shouldn't be too bad. He's gives a lot of extrA credit opp. as well, so I def. Recommend taking him for art.

He is easy, doesn't require you to actually learn art, he's more of a hippy with the whole free love and art is your opinion bs. Didn't really learn anything from him. Didn't study for any of his tests and still passed the class. If you want an easy class where you only have to show up, this is the one. Didn't learn anything from him.

Took this in Summer 1 Easy A+ just go to class do the work and pay attention. Study guides for the test are very helpful. Lots of opportunities for extra credit. 3 Test, few pop quiz's, 3 projects and 1 group project. Not easy if you're lazy!

The test is exactly the same as the review, i really do recommend, very easy A right there

Professor Kaminski is Awesome. I enjoyed printing in his class. Grading is clear. I am not an art major but my degree required a fine arts credit. There are no tests just a couple of projects that you get to work on for weeks. The final is turning in the last project and cleaning the classroom. Take his printmaking class if you want an "A"!!!!!!!!

All the reviews in here is true about him. He is the best professor ever. I did not have any interest in art but he made me like it and love his class. Participation matters, he is always there for you. If you don't like art then take it with him you will like it. I didn't expect A but i got an A!!!!

I just took him for Art appreciation 1301 5weeks class. All I can say is that he's an amazing teacher. Do the work and will pass with an A. I strongly recommend him.

I took him this summer 2015 (Art Appreciation 1301) :) He was awesome!! It was a 5 week course and we had 3 test including the final. Also there were 9 quizzes, but he picked 3 of the highest quiz grades! Journals were optional, but I would highly recommend you doing them, or flash cards because it will help on your test. I would take him again!

If you want to recieve an A take him! Don't expect to not do anything and get an A. He gives tons of extra credit it's crazy. I got B's on most of the tests and did all my projects and walked out with an A. Take him , his protects are extremely easy. Will not regret it. Some students received a lower grade but the effort said why. I recommend him!

This is as easy as college gets. If you don't get an A in this guy's class, just drop out of college. It is too easy. He gives out so much extra credit. All you have to do is all the projects and show up to class to receive extra credit, you have an easy A. The tests are easy (you still have to study of course). He is also a really cool guy!

Overall a wonderful professor to have, especially during my first semester of college. He puts everything you could possibly need for his assignments on his learningweb page. The tests and projects aren't hard at all, but at least make the effort to look over the material and you should be fine.

Professor Kaminski is awesome! He has a clear grading criteria. Easy projects. Lots of extra credits. Easy A. Just do the assignments and you'll be good! Highly Recommended.

Prof. Stanley is very straight forward in his exam reviews and also in what he wants in his projects. You need to attend and also there are a lot of extra credit if you are in class. This class is an automatic A if you participate and also if you do the homework no matter what. There are pop quizzes which help as extra credit.

He's a nice guy that genuinely cares for his students, and how well they do in class. He makes the notes and test reviews available online. My only gripe is he assigns a group project over summer classes, which is awful if you work full time as well. He gives out a ton of bonus points as well if you participate in class.

I took this class this summer and it was easy, 3 major projects that were very easy and he also takes the time to explain them in detail. He is funny and caring, gives a lot of points and drops up to 3 low grades.

He is the nicest professor I have ever come across. He does not accept late work whatsoever, so just turn it in on time. He gets you to work in groups so you really get to know people in your class and drops your lowest grades in quizzes and one major grade. His lectures can get a bit long but just go over the powerpoint and it's an easy A!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER. You will literally only fail this class if you just don't show up and do no work at all. He drops your lowest grade, and your lowest 6 quiz grades. You even get bonus points for showing up on time. Don't sleep on this class, I would take him again if any of the other classes he teaches were required. I wish he was my dad.

Well, his class is a lot of things to do, if you just pay a little attention by little i mean not too crazy. there's a lot of opportunity for extra credit I ended up with over 50 extra credit I didnt even had to pass the final exam. just do the homework on time. follow instruction meticulously you ll get an easy A. his exams is like his study guid

I got a D in the first project and didn't take the final exam(because you can drop one lowest grade), and I still got an A in this class. This literally tells you how easy this class is. If you get lower than a B in this class, I just recommend to drop out of college. Because its too easy to get an A.

He is one of the most wonderful and caring teachers I've ever had in my life. He has such a great and fun style of teaching. You never be bored in his class and in fact you never know how time flies that fast in his class. He is really admirable. You really learn stuff about art in his class plus he gives many opportunities to boost your grade.

I am not joking when I say failing his class is hard. If you show up and do your assignments, you can not fail. He gives plenty of extra points and even drops your lowest grade. His grading is not tough and he gives a clear understanding on what he wants. If you want an easy A, please take him. You can not fail unless you don't turn anything in.

amazing teacher, super easy as long as you can follow directions! gives out extra credit points like theres no tomorrow, for being on time/early, answering correctly + other easy stuff. be able to follow directions and youll get an A guaranteed. A caring & amazing professor!! I've taken this class on campus but due to COVID, it was transitioned smoothly to online classes. There's really no way to fail the class because he allows makeup assignments, allows you to drop the lowest assignments & gives points for about everything. Study and you'll end up with over a 100 in the class!

He's actually a bit funny. He provides a lot of chances for extra credit. If you study you'll get an A. A few group projects that are easy. Would recommend you take him if you need the credit. You'll learn a lot about art and how you can see specific things around you.

You're almost certain to get an A in this class as long as you do the loads of extra credit he provides. DON'T MISS ANY ASSIGNMENT IF YOU WANT AN A. This class is still very difficult and requires a lot of work. Definitely not an easy class. Be serious about college, and you'll get an A.

I took his class fall of 2021. He is an amazing teacher and if you keep on top of all the work it isn't hard to get a good grade.

We did a Kahoot in almost every class, and it really helped drive in the knowledge we were learning. He gives out Extra credit like candy. There is a lot of work, but most only take 10-20 minutes. Make sure to read all the posts, as some will give extra credit

Prof. Kaminski is passionate and caring about his work. His assignments are set up clearly and he has video examples of many of the assignments. His notes on the assignments are key to improving your drawings. My only regret is taking him online! If you can, do take his class you'll love it.

He is the sweetest professor ever, so encouraging and motivating, makes the class easy to digest. i took a summer hybrid class and i learned so much, i wish i took this class as a regular long semester. he uses games to learn but also constant practice quizzes and quizzes and homeworks where you have to answer around 12 open questions each.

I personally wish all my professors were like him, especially for my coding classes; I would have definitely aced those. He is very encouraging, funny, and always tells us to try even if we don't know. The class was worthwhile, and I'm so happy I didn't take an online class. He teaches at Alief Hayes campus.
