This is a great course that doesn't demand a lot of time. he gives you everything you need to know for the test. Also, entire class is participation excerises. VERY FUN!

Practically no work...all you do is discuss situations people go through. Tests are very easy, he usually lets you use your book or work on the test in groups. I didn't really learn anything though.

The nicest professor I have ever had! Listening him is like listening to a motivational speaker. The tests are extremely easy and come right out of the study guide.

Doc is the BEST! The lectures are all entertaining, not usually related to TESTS though! He has got to be the sweetest man around and he is brilliant! He is the nicest guy you will ever meet.He tells interesting stories and most of his tests are open notes. He also sometimes gives you a 10 point curve on some tests. Great Professor!!!

Dr. McCloy Is AWESOME!!! He is very understanding and very interesting. He is very sweet and careing. In your tests he lets you use notes and gives you extra point 10-5 points. He also lets you do group tests. I was scared of this class but it was easy!! Please take him!

What a sweet guy! He is such a nice professor and is always available to help. He gives you a vocab list for all of the exams and that was all I studied and I got an A! I am a good student but a very big slacker when it comes to hitting the books. I recommend him if you are short on time from work, etc.

This is one of the funniest teachers I ever had, but if you need psychology, do not take this course. All he does is tell jokes for lectures, and vaguely discusses the topics for the tests. He does hand out a study guide weeks in advance before a tests and is a very easy grader. If you don't need psychology, then this is an automatic A!

He has a great personality. Gives reviews for all the tests... if you do the review you WILL pass the test. I'd take him again for sure :)

Dr. McCloy is a GREAT teacher!! His class was fun, and I really enjoyed it. He passes out study guides at least 2 weeks before a test, and the majority of test is based on that guide. OH MY GOD, PROF MCCLOY IS THE BOMB... I had so much to deal w/ during this semester and he had plenty of opportunity to drop me but he believed in me! So it pushed me to stick it out...He is genuine and he cares deeply for people and their thoughts, his class is easy but you do have to study for your test. Take him you ll LOVE him! He's AMAZING.

He's cool. Class is pretty much for discussion. He hands out reviews that pinpoint exactly what will be on the test. He'll help you out if you need it and he's really understanding. Tests are all multiple choice and pretty easy.

Genuinely nice man! Tests aren't RANDOM like the last person said: he gives you a handout to follow! The LECTURES: different story-- QUITE random! Sex is the subject matter a lot of the time. But you'll never be bored. Not sure I'd recommend him if PSYC is your major; I didn't take away much from his class.

Professor McCloy is very nice. He takes initiative to get to know his students. Just do the study guide and skim the book and it's an easy A. Fair warning, though, sex is the central topic for him. The only thing is that he barely ever talks about what's in the book and if he does, it's only for a moment...and then he gets side-tracked.

He is VERY VERY nice, understanding! If you walk in late, hes going to say Hi, im so happy you are here, and not make you feel bad. Hes very positive and believes in his students. Class is for the most part entertaining. He doesnt discuss much of whats on the test, but he gives you study sheets of whats on test. Test are pretty easy IF you study.

Professor McCloy is simply the best teacher out there! I took him for summer I, at seven in the morning and he still made me want to come to class everyday. His lectures are very interesting, and his class room demonstrations are the best. Thanks for an awesome class Dr. McCloy!

He loves to talk... a lot. He tries to tie his lectures in with the assigned reading but gets carried away. He pulls his tests directly from the text. He usually has a few questions that are indirectly related to the terms on his study guide but are not found in the definition in the book. Would recommend

I took him last semester and I am taking him again. He is totally awesome! If you participate and are liberal he will absolutely love you! He likes to do group things. Tests are easy. I never used a book. Most tests are take home. He asks your opinion about projects and changes if majority doesnt like what he chose. He is awesome. Highly recommend

He is an awesome teacher. He is a bit goofy but it keeps the class interesting.. he has so many stories to tell.. he usually gets off subject about the class.. but its mostly all involves psychology.. .some how.. just keep up with the conversations in class and he will favor you.

Terrific teacher. Very understanding if you need help. I had some personal problems during class and he was understanding and helped me so that I could finish the class.

Easy. Just participate and put in a little effort. I do mean little. Gives study sheets for tests, very few questions aren't on sheet. Multiple choice. Lots of class activity and discussion between teacher. Liberal or not, just know what you believe, he doesn't care. Goofy prof, repeats stories he's already told. I'd take him again though.

Awesome, caring guy. Read the text for tests; his lectures won't help you there. Always left his class in a great mood. Funny and interesting, very fair grader. He exempted me from final when my other grades were good. Participate, show up, and you'll do well. Would take again. Would probably not buy text, but just use library copy before tests.

Fun class! I recommend him--but reading the text is definitely a must. McCloy was always understanding and willing to help me with whatever I needed. Just keep up with the study guides and show up to class most of the time, and it's an easy A.

Excellent professor! Has had a private practice and loves his work. My class work was online, but if you read you text you will have no problem passing. Class discussions are lively and funny... I really liked his personality and his class experiments!

This prof is amazing. Never felt like I was actually in class. It was all discussion and workshop. The personal application and learning was awesome. I actually applied what I learned to my life. Take him if you ever have the opportunity. You won't regret it! I wish more teachers were like him!

Online: Chapter quizes can be done twice (same questions second time). One chance on tests (none of the quiz questions) that cover many chapters. Final Exam had no questions from the quizes/tests. None had been asked before. Book is essential. Ok class, but I was dissapointed that the Final was not truly comprehensive and very hard. It's tough.

He knows his stuff, never uses notes or the book, just talks without needing references. You can take the test twice, so nobody should get less than 90% on each quiz!The final was a breeze if you read the whole book!

By far the easiest teacher for PSYC, the course is hybrid do tests and quizzes are online and are open book. Must read the whole book or else you'll be lost. He also is considerate and will extend the time to take a quiz or test if you missed it. Class was interesting, considering his age.

Awesome Professor!!I took his hybrid class at 0800 and there was never a dullmoment! He has a great sense of humor and he genuinely cares about his students. If there are circumstances that occur and you aren't able to take a quiz as scheduled, he will work with you to get it done.I highly recommend Dr. McCloy.

I took Dr.McCloy's psychology class 5 years ago. He is very impressive and knowledgeable. I ran into him at the grocery store last week and he remembered me, what I did for a living and where I worked! Wow! What a great professor!

Professor McCloy is an amazing teacher! He is super understanding, very nice and a now a good friend. I took his blended course and would recommend it to anyone with responsibilities outside of school.You sign up for MWF but you have Fridays off to do your homework and explore the textbook online.

You take an online quiz once a week. The textbook is online it’interactive,easy to use and alarmingly up to date. If you ever need to be absent he will understand and work with you on retaking your tests.I love this man and know from other people in my class that you should never try to take advantage of his kindness.This is a great class TAKE IT!

Absolutely, wonderful teacher. He is super friendly, easy-going and never gets upset. Reading your book is crucial, however you can use your book during your online test you take AT HOME. Attending class is not mandatory but he will mark you absent. If you need extra-credit, he will give you it. Be active in class, he appreciates it. Awesome prof!

Awesome teacher! As long as you read the chapters and keep up with the tests, you'll do just fine. I took the online course so I mainly taught myself but I still enjoyed the course. The book was very easy to read. And the professor quickly responded back to every email I sent. TAKE HIM!

Prof. McCloy is very nice and easy to work with. I took his online Psyc 2301 and made a medium-hard A. He allows 2 attempts per/quiz & keeps higher grade. Final is 100 questions. NO extra credit & only 1 article critique. I would take him again if I had to but NOT as a flex course as I did -3-4 chapters/week w/2 tests per chapter; lucky I got an A!

Took McCloys FLEX class online & even though it was a lot of reading, I'm glad I took the class. YOU WILL NEED THE TEXTBOOK because all you do is 1 quiz for each chapter, and the chapters are fairly long. If you dedicate your time to reading or studying the chapter, you will do good! Also 1 easy article critique. Don't regret taking this class! :)

If you need to take an online Flex class, take this one. Lots of reading but not really difficult: two quizzes/chapters a week for Flex, one for "regularly paced" class, plus an essay regarding a Psychology article of your choice. I never had to interact with him much as his instructions were clear, but he was very quick to respond to emails.

This was an awesome class! I took the flex 1, online class and did very well. It was an easy A, but you must read and take the quizzes on time. I would definitely take another class with prof. McCloy.

OMG easy class ever. Every week you have a quiz which is strait from the book. He also gives lots of opportunities for extra credit. He cares so much about his students. So would take him again!!!

I took his class online and he was extremely clear and helpful. The assignments were simple, especially if you read the chapters from the book. I took this class at campus. MWF, on fridays we were not required to go. This class was one of the best classes and one of the best preofessors I have ever taken. You read the chapters you're required to read for the week and we had quizzes that were due on Friday. Open book quizzes because they were done online. Super easy A! Take this professor!!

Fantastic class with an outstanding professor. I take his MW class at 7am, he is by far the best teacher I have this semester. Very knowledgeable and will work with you if something comes up. I had read a negative comment about him speaking badly about women. He talks about how women were treated in the past and how we are evolving to equality.

Wonderful Professor. I am currently taking him right now &I take his MW class @7am. He's very friendly and all his classes he just talks about psychology in general and on the chapters we are reading. Meaning you will need the book to pass b/c the homework is to read a chapter every week and take the quiz before Sunday. Wonderful class, and easy.

Professor McCloy is the best proddesor I have ever had. He is carin ,and kind. His lectures are hilarious and he is a great teacher! Take home Quiz (online)once a week about the chapter in the book. You need to read the chapter in order to get a good grade. if I had a chance I would take him again I. A heart beat !

He lectures about the chapter every class, and there is a test every Sunday online about the chapter for the week. if you read the book you will be okay. the final is online and all multiple choice. the tests are timed for 50 minutes for 25 questions. he is a good teacher, and has a couple interactive moments in class with experiments.

The perfect online professor. He's very clear in instruction, gives very easy to follow directions, responds to your emails, and gives you a bonus for managing an A in the class. Very heavy in quiz grades, but that's no problem as its multiple choice. I respect this professor and believe he could be a great professor to even take in person.

There was one quiz a week to do, you NEED the book for them. It went by the chapter's vocab words which were all listed at the end of the chapter. Quizzes were 25 questions, 50 minutes, all multiple choice, and two tries. I took this class as a flex and had no problem. Made an A for quiz grade so I didn't have to take the final exam.

Took as summer I. Two quizzes per week with two tries each. Quizzes were key words straight from the book. Get an overall A on quizzes and you will be exempt from taking final exam. This was my second class with this prof and I've never had a problem with him.

He can be funny at times and includes references to other case studies. In class he doesn't just follow the book and he will carry a discussion with you if you engage.

I took him for General Psychology he's a great teacher. If you don't show up just email him he's totally cool with it. His lectures are very interactive and engaging. You have a test each week over one chapter that's it. You have to read the book but he gives a study guide. Plus you can take each quiz twice, they're online. I would take him again.

Great teacher, he is really passionate about his work. I took his growth and development class online for a summer 5 week course and got an A. I highly recommend taking this teacher. Turn in all your work on time do the discussions and there is no reason way you should get anything less than an A.

Here's how to get an A: Do the 4 quizzes (answers can be found on quizlet) each week, respond to the discussion post that are posted, respond to a classmates response each week. That's it. This class is easy, straight to the point, and not at all time consuming. If you have above a 90 by the end of the course, you do not need to take the final.

Dr. McCloy is a great choice for Psychology. I have never taken an online class before, so I did not know what to expect. Although, Dr. McCloy made it so easy because he is extremely clear on what needs to be completed, and he responds to emails quickly. You cannot go wrong with this professor. You should make an A if you just put some effort in.

Take Professor McCloy! He is the most genuine professor. He is caring, respectful, and the most understanding professor. The class is easy overall, 17 Smartbooks and 17 quizzes. You can exempt the final if you end the course with an A. The quizzes are pretty easy. I recommend McCloy, if you want a professor that truly cares about you!

Dr. Stanley McCloy is kind and understanding, when things came up and I missed some assignments he gave me a chance. If you have a 90 or higher grade you're exempt from the final, which is a huge relief. Dr. McCloy is not hugely tech savvy and he does tend to ramble a bit, but overall it doesn't do any harm and he is a great professor to have. :)

Dr. McCloy is a great professor - kind, understanding, and engaging. The lectures are interactive, and the textbook is necessary but manageable. I found unstuck ai really helpful for quiz prep.

Dr McCloy provided a clear explanation of requirements for the course. Grades were posted in a timely manner. Reading the chapters adds to successfully completing the course. The workload was reasonable. Syllabus dates aligned with the semester the class was taught. Discussions were pertinent to the class and not just busy-work.

Honestly one of the funniest and most knowledgeable people I know, he has so many stories and only has McGraw hills but nothing hard.
