Mrs. Armstrong is a goofy teacher she has a funny and quirky sense of humor and is fun to be in class with. She assigns three or four essays a semester which are all general easy. She also assigns campus activities as a grade and grades them super easy! only 3 tests including final all year and they were all easy! overall awesome teacher

Professor Armstrong is a great! She is very enthusiastic and loves what she does! She is hilarious and really easy to get along with. She makes sure she is available if you need help understanding anything. Doesn't give a lot of tests, but does assign several essays. The last 2 essays are probably the hardest. The final was super easy!

Armstrong is great, fun, and friendly. she don't give test that much. She just want to student pass in class. She don't use the textbook because she will tell you what you need to know because the textbook will make you confused. She don't give you a lot essay. I had her twice. I did passed both of classes. You should take her classes.

Professor Armstrong cares about her students. She is tough on grammar will tell you throughout the semester over and over. There are three exams, study and listen in class you will pass. She has three reflections that are apart of your grade, meaning you will have to attend civic engagements. She is very helpful and loves to teach!

The test are pretty easy if you pay attention and study the papers she gives you. she has a whole lecture about grammar because that is one thing we all get wrong. If you have a question ask she's there for you. 3 test, 3 essays, and 3 reflections during the whole semester. Do what is asked and you will pass.

This class compared to my English 1301 was a bigger step up for sure. The grading was tougher along with the work in order to get a good grade in the class. Did stray away from the syllabus and created another one within the first two or three weeks of class made it clear and showed the expectations of the students and the work. Helpful and funny

She strayed away from the syllabus after our first paper, she made a new one with new papers on them and what was to be expected. Did not take any tests but be ready to write and have clear, structured, well though out papers. Also get one rewrite on any paper except for the last paper due. Can rewrite as many times until the end of the year.

Professor Armstrong makes her lectures easy & understandable. She is available for help when you need it and is willing to answer all of your questions about your assignments. There are only 3 outside events you have to attend and must write a short summary for each. Overall she has a passion for teaching and the patience to help.

She is always willing to help, but it you are a very busy person it is hard to keep up with the essays because you have to attend events on campus, as well as get a tutor to look at your essays. This is not the class to procrastinate in. If you plan on making a good grade you need to show up, she does a lot of talking in class about the assignments

I appreciate her starting the course with teaching us the importance of grammar and her not expecting us to write an essay at first. She is very informative, patient and very easy to approach with any questions or concerns. She also makes the lessons fun and funny and is easily relatable. I feel very fortunate to have had her as my English teacher.

I would advise anyone and everyone to take her for English, she definitely has a passion for teaching and you don't find many professors like that. Mrs Armstrong's class is not a do nothing and get an A type of class but is not an impossible . In order to pass here class you need to make sure you do her assignments in time and try to get your essays checked by a tutor or someone who can improve your papers grade. She does give extra credit for your assignments in case you need extra points.

Mrs. Armstrong is my favorite professor I've had at Lone Star! I liked her so much in 1301 that I requested her in 1302. She is very understandable, but make sure you respect her guidelines! She is very funny and very sweet. She makes English fun to learn, and grades very fairly. Make sure to take her - you will not be sorry!

Professor Armstrong grades really hard on grammar. She gives extra bonus points at the end of the semester and assigns a total of four essays. Sometimes her instructions are not clear, so it is important to ask questions. If you're planning to take her class in the fall, it's much easier than summer.

Summer school session (it was faster paced). Did not use the textbook that much. She is a very nice, considerate, and helpful professor. Never had a problem with her.
