Human Growth and Development. The teacher is very understanding and helpful. She truthfully communicates exactly what she expects extremely accurately. You will know exactly what you have to do to be very successful in her class. I would definitely take her again and highly recommend her.

Dr. Babb is a wonderful prof. She's clear and helpfull. Bio is a hard class but she does her best to help you get the grade you want. Definately reccomended to all.

Took it online, overall she's good, but the subject itself is challenging. Weekly discussions, 5 page paper, 4 or 5 "quizzes", which are really tests. The tests were difficult because they come from the publisher. You MUST read the book and her notes if you plan to do well. Extra credit opportunities. I'd take her again! Very interesting material!

Took class online..content is extremely challenging. Many students in the class had challenges with the tests (questions come from the book's publisher). There are wekly discussions (easy), a 5 page paper (easy), and 5 tests (challenging). The final is COMPREHENSIVE!

Very difficult class to take online. Dr. Babb was very helpful when office I went to her office to ask questions about the paper. Quick to respond to e-mails. Discussions every week, 4 tests and a 5 page paper. Extra credit through Sona and a cumulative tests.

EXTREMELY DIFFICULT!!! I took this class online, and it completely stressed me out! I have held a 3.8 GPA, and this being my last year, I was shocked when I failed my first exam EVER and it was in this class. Tests are 5 short essays questions in 20 - 25 minutes. You'll learn a lot, but it is very difficult.

I would highly recommend her if you are looking for an online course! Ive taken 2 of her online courses & they are very easy to follow. She is very quick to respond to emails & always helpful. There are usually quizzes & discussions due every week and maybe 1 or 2 other assignments. Other than than, if u read ur textbook, you should do great.

Excellent professor took her online class. Down side all test are essay, but she gives enough time to refer to your book and notes. I failed my first test, but she allowed a retake. She also drops the lowest grade.

Great teacher. She goes over a lot in class! highly recommend you attend. She speaks fast but you can understand what she is talking about. No tests...only 4 quizzes online and she drops one. Easy discussions each week and two article summaries. I didnt do one and ended up with a B. Could've been an easy A. I really enjoyed this class.

She's a cool instructor. Class was fun and easy to keep up with. Discussions are fun. Quizzes are somewhat ok, you get two trials for each chapter. I took this class online during the summer.

Took on-line. Not too easy, not too difficult. You have to really EARN your grade. Lots of reading. Some tests were given 2nd chance but they were still hard. Questions were a bit difficult. She is a cool professor though.

Good teacher you have to earn your grade. I took her online during winter break. It is worth the hard work it pays off. She is practical.

Bio Psych, Hybrid: Thinking I should have just taken online. Dr. Babb is cool and she obviously knows her stuff, but she went through lecture very quickly and basically just read straight off of Powerpoint. Her slides were out of order and she would jump around so it was easy to get lost. Weekly online discussions were easy, tests were HARD. Study!

I really liked Dr. Babb! She's really sweet and treats her students with respect. Very approachable and easy to talk to. This was definitely a tough class, thankfully the weekly discussions and APA paper helped pull up my grade. STUDY hard for tests! Easy final, recycled old test questions. I plan on taking her again in the future!

Class lectures are off PowerPoint slides. 3 exams (lowest dropped), final & online discussions. Extra credit is offered. Not too hard but you must read your textbook & study terms. Dr. Babb is extremely nice, I would recommend.

Currently taking this online class. Concepts can difficult, and may require lots of analysis (read and re-read if necessary)suck it up OR drop the class if you dont like it! Just like most things: work hard and rewards will follow!!

I have taken her two semesters in a row. She is easy and organized but you have to do the work. She does not curve grades. I passed both classes. Great Instructor!

This turned out to be a great class! Weekly discussions, article reviews, and one paper - nothing too painful. No exams! Dr. Babb is down-to-earth and very accessible. It's also easy to see she loves what she is doing. I enjoyed her enthusiasm and am really glad I took this class. Highly recommend!

Thought this was the most low maintenance ONLINE course ever (human growth and development) four tests. lot of material to read the day before a test but doable. discussion due each monday very easy. Only thing I had to rush to finish was the MyVirtualChild assignment which was available all semester - not her fault. Overall take online EZ BREEZY

Did the special problems online class. 25 APA article reviews which will be used toward your final 20pg. APA paper. Super clear and helpful, & always responds and grades promptly. Great prof. Would take her again.

I loved this professor very sweet. She was very helpful and everything was laid out from the beginning. Test were not timed but needed to study answers not just in your face in the textbook. There was a group powerpoint that had me a little worried because of online course but I ended the semester with an A.

Took this course during summer and as long as you read the chapters you'll do great on the tests. There were 4 multiple choice tests and 10 discussion posts (2 replies). No right or wrong answers for discussions but you should answer the question and be knowledgeable of what you are arguing. Very helpful if you have questions.

This is an amazing professor. I've had many classes with her and they are by no means "easy" classes. You do have opportunities for extra credit, READING THE BOOK IS A MUST, you can't pass just reading the powerpoints. Her class is not for a lazy person; it's self paced with weekly discussions, article review, four 30-question multiple choice tests

Her instructions are clear and she makes herself available to all students. The subject matter is a lot to take on but the way the assignments are laid out it never feels overwhelming. Just be prepared to actually read your book and participate in her discussion posts.

Dr. Babbs is an amazing person. She interacts with students weekly. 13 quizzes are HARD! Discussion post must me 200 words long and you must reply to two classmates post 50 word minimum. One writing assignment. Get to choose between two options. You must read the book and hope to pass quizzes. One 1-2 page paper. No test. Course work load just ok!

Took her for Special Projects. She was very clear on the assignment and broke down the paper to easy chunks. I loved having her and she made my last semester bearable. Just don't miss your research time!!!

She's a very good teacher!!! If you don't pass her class it's your fault. She sticks to her syllabus and nothing more so really pay attention to due dates for each assignment!!! overall she's GREAT!!!! Online class

Professor Babb has by far been one of the best professor I have taken. I had her online human growth and development class and she did such a great job of still making you feel very connected. Her class is clear cut, she sticks to her syllabus and really makes things interesting . She was so good I am taking her again next semester. TAKE HER!

I took Child Psychology during this May Mini Semester. There were 10 quizzes and 5 discussions that you have to participate in. It's a lot of reading, but easily doable if you set aside time for a chapter a day. I didn't have to for help from prof. so I do not know how responsive she is, but she does check in at least once a week with reminders.

Very nice teacher. I took her Child Psy class online and in the summer. Opens all 12 quizzes and can take them as long as they are done by due date. 10 Discussions, minimum 200 words each, and respond to 2 other classmates discussion and that's it. Take good notes. Print out Powerpoint slides, will test you on what you least expect.

Professor Babb is pretty great as in clarity of what she expects! I took her class online in the summer and at first it seemed doable. YOU HAVE TO STAY ON TOP OF YOU READINGS! Chapters are about 20 pages long, may take over 2-5 hours to read. And you take an online quiz of 10 Q with 15 MIN! It's intense! JUST READ!! READ READ READ!!

As a senior & psychology major, I can say that Dr. Babb has been the best professor I have had at UHD. She is clear about her expectations. She is approachable & more than willing to help if you need her. I have taken her for Biological, Child, & Adolescent Psychology & for Specials Projects this semester. Take her! You'll be glad you did!

Quizzes are majority of grade. One research paper only worth 10%, and 400 count discussions with short responses. Very clear on expectations and relatively easy grader. If you do all of your work, which is not even very demanding, then you will make an A. Highly recommend her this is my second online with her and taking another in the spring.

This class has lots of info, so lots of reading. Get the book! She is very clear on everything she gives. Mandatory discussions and quizzes, no tests though. No extra credit was given, but if you do all of your assignments, you can easily do well. One of the sweetest professors by far. Wont stress you out, so take with a more difficult class.

Dr. Babb is a wonderful professor. I took her for summer I Psy 3303 and 3305 at the same time and she was breath of fresh air. You must read, do 12 timed quizzes and 10 discussions. I love the way she post her thought on the discussions as well. Dr. Babb is a must! Take her, you won't regret it.

If you have to take Special Projects Dr. Babb is the best. Her outline of what she wants you to do is extremely clear, and she is a very helpful and understand professor.

Wonderful teacher! Took her for Adolescent Psy, a hybrid class was great and very interesting. PP are online all quizzes are online lectures are helpful to attend for quizzes but not mandatory.

Loved this class! One test per chapter and not too strict on deadlines.. you just need to complete half of them by mid semester and the other half by the end. Weekly discussions not too hard and like one or two extra assignments throughout the semester .. not too hard either.

Dr Babbs is a wonderful professor, I have taken several of her psychology classes. This was a special projects research class. Dr Babb assigns a research topic at the beginning of the semester, formulate a research question, find articles/write summaries/rough draft and final paper. You will work so follow the syllabus and you'll be fine.

She is by far my favorite psyc professor at UHD! I've taken her for a few minor classes and the work is always clear cut. If you read the book and do all the work, you will get a good grade.

Awesome class and Professor! Dr. Babb's class coursework were 13 quizzes and 10 discussions, quizzes stayed open to complete at your own pace, and two easy assignments: One article summary and a gender paper. Gave an extra discussion as extra credit. Will give you feedback and reply to any question and/or email. Best Psychology Professor at UHD!

I took this class online during the summer, 5 weeks, it was so easy, an easy A its 10 discussion and 12 quizzes that is it. I would highly recommend taking this class. It is a lot of writing but so easy. Each discussion is 5 points and each quiz 15 points. The quizzes are timed by 20 minutes 15 multiple choice.

AMAZING TEACHER! 13 times quizzes. 11 discussions. 2 major writing assignments. No final or mid-term exams. Participation is key. Gives great feedback. Very attentive to her emails. Direct and understanding. You will need the book but most of the information can be found on the chapter breakdowns she offers. Would take again, no questions asked.

Professor Babb is great. She lays the format/schedule at the beginning of the semester and her expectations are clear. There's weekly discussions--book is necessary! Content is very interesting. There's 13 quizzes (15 minutes to answer 15 questions per chapter), 2 major writing assignments, and no midterm or final! Just stay on top of assignments!

Professor Babb is a great professor. If you use YOUR RESOURCES you will pass this course. I took this class during Winter2017; its 3 weeks long I finished in 2 weeks. The discussions are really interesting and easy. The quizzes can be difficult if you dont use YOUR RESOURCES!!!! Easy A!

I took Professor Babb for Adolescent Psy and Child Psy, she is an amazing professor. Very clear with instructions and she asks straightforward questions in the quizzes as well. Be sure to look at powerpoints and book to do well. Overall it's an easy A if you participate and keep up with the material.

Online summer 1 class. 12 quizzes 180 pts, 1 4pg essay 35 pts, 5 disc/2 replies 25 pts. Quizzes open at beginning. You can pass the class w/o the essay. Super easy summer class. Remind 101. Posts reminders, awesome communication. Can't emphasize enough, take this class and use your ONLINE RESOURCES and you will pass with A or B. No way to fail .

I took this class online and it was good. It has a great flow to the assignments that are due. All work is clearly stated beforehand so there is no excuses to not turn in the assignments. It was really interesting with the interaction with the other peers with the discussions. You do need the textbook to pass the quizzes; they are 15 min long :(

Her lectures are interesting due to the examples she gives. I took hybrid with her & attendance is definitely counted for. Quizzes are the easiest! Discussions are exaggerated as she expects 400 words & 150 word replies to others. Also have one APA Lit. Review paper that you have all semester to do. Not the hardest but I wouldn't take again.

Great professor where expectations are made clear. The workload isn't hard. PPT presentation with voice over. 4 Exams not proctored. Gender Stereotypes Paper. 400 word discussions with 2 100 word replies. Very very responsive to messages. All the discussions and Exams opened at the beginning of class. Highly recommend! I'll have a A or high B.

Great class with clear expectations. Discussions opened weekly after the previous due date. Exams all opened at beginning of class and are not proctored. 1 APA Lit paper that was manageable. She responds to emails quick and gives great feedback. Grades things in a timely manner too.

3 test online. answers online. 1 paper which I would take a bit more serious I got a 50 & still passed the class with a B. Just do the discussions every week and respond and meet the 400 words and 100 word response. didn't buy the book just think. She's a good professor and kept sending reminders and gave feedback. other than that easy A

She's a pretty decent teacher. All of her assignments are added up for points. Don't miss one of the large assignments for 50 points because it will add up. There was a powerpoint and paper due which weren't too bad. The tests are timed. 50 questions for 50 minutes and the time does fly by.

Currently taking Adolescents Psy so far so good. 4 test 50 questions 45 min to complete, 5 -400 word discussions and 2- 100 word replys. No lie, use your resources. Professor responds to emails quickly, nice tone is feedback responses and encourages weekly with reminders.

Professor Babb was great. Not sure why all of the bad reviews, but I did not run into any problems. At least in our class, she did offer extra cradit. She also dropped all the quizzes for the remainder of the semester during all of this Covid-19 mess. She set up weekley zoom meetings for us as well. I am already enrolled with her for next semester.

I was scared to take her due to the previous reviews, but her class was simple. I took her for mini-mester. 5 discussions 400 words each with 2 peer replies 100 words each and 4 tests, drops the lowest grade. The test were hard and required lots of reading, and studying also used lockdown browser but allowed the use of notes and books regardless.

I took PSY 3303. The class is about right for a 3000 level class. THe class over all wasnt bad. The only thing that was hard was the 4 tests. You have to use a lockdown but you can use the book. THE TESTS ARE HARD. you do get extra credit. 4 tests, 10 discussions, a paper, and 2 extra credit chances.

No-nonsense but caring. Took 2 classes from her, both same. 4 intense timed exams w/ lockdown BUT open book and 2 attempts. Weekly discussions 700 words,and only one class had paper. Not much feedback unless requested but discussions / paper leniently graded. Deadlines are firm. No dropped grades. Plenty of extra credit but be prepared to work.

I took this class during the winter break. Although it was a lot of reading for a short amount of time, the work was do-able. About 3-4 chapters per exam (4 exams) and 5 discussions. She gave great feedback on her discussions and if you answer all of the questions you get all of the points. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend this professor!

I took this course over the summer and the professor is strict about her assignments. However, you can easily do well in class as long as you do all your assignments in time and follow the rubric. The course moves very quick; I planned poorly which resulted my average being between a C and a B. Despite her rigidness, she offers positive feedback!

Professor Babb is the best! Have taken her for several classes, finishing up this last semester. She's clear, fair, and flexible as long as you email her first. I had a family emergency, she was def understanding and helpful. I will miss her!

Took this class with her last fall, pretty much just interesting discussions and easy tests. She answered emails same day, easy grader - taking more of her classes this summer.

At first I was scared to take her since it was for Special Projects and was taking her for a 5 week summer course BUT I got 100 in the class. She's an easy grader , there was a research question assignment, annotated bibliography, powerpoint presentation, and final paper. She didn't pressure us at all and would ALWAYS answer emails, TAKE HER !

Took her for 8 week semester, have taken other classes with her before. Good discussions and assignments, not very hard, tests she lets you take two times each and keep highest grade. Great professor!

Dr. B is really fair, answers emails fast, cares about her class. Not a hard class, have taken multiple classes with her. One of my faves.

I took for spring mini course. 5 discussions- own opinions and easy graded 400 words each and respond to 2. 4 exams camera lockdown browsers and timed 50 questions and 50 minutes. (makes it difficult, but the open textbook made it easier i used my ebook on my tablet) no final or essays

Professor Babb was an excellent teacher for Adolescent Psychology, You have about three discussions a week. You have do type more than 400 words and respond with more than 100 words, and there are 4 exams in total. She lets you use your textbook and open notes, really enjoyed this short summer class!

This class was challenging but manageable. Being my first summer course, the fast pace kept me busy. You'll have 10 discussion posts (400+ words), 2 peer replies (100+ words), and 4 exams with 50 questions each, all proctored using a lockdown browser and webcam. Keep up with the work, and you'll be fine.
