She ROCKS. She is very educated and will tell you anything you've ever wanted to know about sex. I've had her for two classes, and wish she taught more! Homework assignments are rare and easy. Tests are a little long, and you've got to pay attention to what she teaches (easy), and then you'll do fine on her tests.

You have to be a****not to do well in her classes. She gives you an outline, study guides, and enough extra credit that you can basically do nothing and still get a decent grade. Way too easy and boring. If you want an easy grade take with her, otherwise take with someone else if you want to feel really challenged. Yoshizumi or Taylor for sure.

Mrs. Coday is a prime example of the quality professor a student seeks for in college. I had her for intro to psych summer 06, she is one of those extremely organized teachers that actually uses a syllabus and sticks to it exactly. she makes sure we actually use the textbook after paying for it.many interesting discussions, but u dont have to participate if u aren't outspoken. tests are in the same wording as notes.

Fantastic Professor! Stephanie's class is clearly organized, fun, and relevant. She has a lot of enthusiasm and a great sense of humor, and gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit and is consistent about maintaining an updated grade sheet so you always know how you're doing in class. Professor Coday makes learning enjoyable...not like learning about sex needs help being interesting. She's very easy to keep up with and she's great at explaining things in depth if you don't understand. She doesn't take any kind of late work though, which is the one major downside of the class. But overall a great experience!

She gives you a syllabus with the whole semester planned out so you can get everything done the first week and have little to worry about. She definitely expects everyone to share something in class, and if you don't, that's the only way you could fail... well, also if you don't pay attention. But it's hard not to pay attention.

There is a quiz (20 questions) after each chapter, a mid-term, and a final. If you don't study for these, you will fail! She also 15 points of extra credit!

The Human Sexuality class is taught from a "sex for fun" perspective. Students are encouraged to ask questions about the different course subjects being taught. Stephanie Coday teaches this course the way it needs to be taught. She is arguably my favorite teacher here at Sierra College. Take her class and you will not regret it!

One online quiz on every chapter & then you have a midterm on what you've learned so far and then a final on everything you learned after the midterm. Lots of options for extra credit. A real gem. Stephanie exceeded my expectations for her Human Sex course. I enjoyed coming to class every day and learned so much useful information. Just come to class open minded and have fun, it's really a once in a lifetime course. Her exams are definitely lecture heavy so I didn't use my textbook as much, but the text can still be helpful to some.

Professor Coday is amazing! For an online class, it was incredibly structured and she gives great instructions on what she's looking for. She makes the class very entertaining and gives you some pretty interesting knowledge! I would definitely take the class again! She's an amazing teacher!

Stephanie Coday (pronounced Cody not Co-day) is an awesome Psychology professor! She provides great lectures, gives easy homework that actually helps you on the test, and provides extra credit opportunities. Very nice and intelligent professor. Knows what she's talking about. 10/10 would recommend and take again!

I took her online human sexuality class and it was easy. The only thing that wasn't easy was just doing the chapter readings. I hate reading long chapters. Other than that, she was great. Put in the work and you'll be fine. Its just doing the weekly chapter readings, weekly quizzes, weekly discussion board, and the other assignments she would add

Stephanie is passionate about what she teaches and about all of her students. She made Human Sexuality fun and educational. She taught me so many things that I will remember for the rest of my life. Professor Corday is super nice and funny! Human sexuality is so much fun, and its a pretty easy A, as long as you pay attention to the lectures and enjoy the material, and with the subject, its hard not to! Very educational and helpful too!

Very fun sexuality class! She is great at giving the info about sexuality that can be uncomfortable for some. She makes it easy and breaks the ice so it is fun and not so much of a "embarrassing" experience. I loved it and think everyone in the class did too!

Professor Coday made every class pretty fun. Her teaching style is very refreshing. If you do your work, you'll get the credit. Always do the extra credit! It really helps out in the end.

I've taken her for a few different classes. I'd recommend her for Psych 100 but if you choose to take human sexuality with her, it's not as easy as it seems. She definitely cares about your success and being able to pass with an A but you really have to work for it. She's really straight forward and can be a little strict also.

LOVED her human sexuality class, just show up (which isn't hard to do because the class is actually enjoyable)... easy grade.. She says you need the book, I bought it and have never even used it. I would recommend this class to everyone if I could. She does take attendance, and it counts towards your grade.. easy points though.

A really tough grader, super heavy homework but my favorite professor at Sierra. Expectations are more than clear, she is inspirational and passionate, very articulate. Respected by all of her students. I really appreciated her demeanor and availability. Take extensive notes to help with quizzes.

Shes super amazing, and makes what would have been an awkward class fun and comfortable.

Pros: Excellent communicator. Responses quickly to emails. Takes awkward subjects and makes them fun. Grades timely. Cons: PowerPoints are like she threw confetti up into the air and wherever it lands is where it lands. Extremely hard to get an A. Quizzes are made to reduce cheating by not giving answers at the end, which also reduces learning.

(Required weekly readings of the chapter being covered) Amazing, brilliant, wonderful. I love Stephanie :)) She is super caring & is really knowledgable on the subject(s) Her lectures were fun (given the subject, it's perfect) & kept my interest. She helps whenever requested & is easy to talk to. One of my favorite professors so far !!

I took this class during the COVID-19 quarantine so mid way through we had to switch to online. She was one of the nicest professors about it, always responded quickly. Quizzes are online due Sundays. You should read to get a good grade and some questions on the test are tricky, but her lectures are never boring. Would definitely recommend

I have taken two of Professor Coday's courses. I enjoyed Human Sexuality so much that I decided to take her General Psychology course too. The exam questions can be a little tricky but read the material and you should be fine. She allows plenty of time for exams and she offers some extra credit too. She keeps her students very informed!

Stephanie was truly an amazing Professor. She really cares about her students and is passionate about the material. She gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit. Her lectures are very entertaining and there are some really fun projects throughout the semester. Dont hesitate to take a class from her. She is amazing!

I took psych 100 with Stephanie during coronavirus so in the middle of the semester we had to switch from in-person to online. She handled the change very well and made a point to stay in touch with the students and did everything she could do help us succeed. She even opened up past assignments for those who missed them. I HIGHLY recommend her!!

Coday is an absolutely amazing professor. Our class began the semester as a physical, in-person class, and it was what I looked forward to most in my week. She is funny, considerate, and full of awesome info. Due to the crisis, we moved online, and while that posed some challenges, the class remained my favorite. Prepare to participate, it's good!

I took her online course this semester! She is a phenomenal educator and really trusts as we as encourages her students. Professor Coday is extremely supportive and inspirational. I would say that her teaching style leans toward informal, but requires a high level of participation for achieving a good grade. The discussions are vital for this. You don't always have to agree with her point of view, but you do have to back your statements with evidence.

I took Stephanie's online course spring 2020 and absolutely loved it. She's very clear about grading criteria and assignments. Tests are open note and don't try to confuse you. She made a point to communicate deadlines and check in with class at least once a week. The textbook was interesting and the Smartbook was engaging. Overall a great teacher!

Stephanie really cares about her students' well-being and education. You must participate and be involved to perform well. No traditional midterm or final. Quizzes measure the understanding of topics, not just facts. Accepts differing views, but all perspectives require supporting evidence. Could elaborate more on lectures but solid professor.

I am 100% impressed with the level of patience and flexibility this professor has. She is nothing but KIND and to the point. She sends out weekly reminders about due dates, gives straightforward homework, and open book quizzes (still timed though). I don't know how she could get a bad review. Easy A if you just put in the necessary work.

Stephanie really encourages exploration & acceptance of the topics we often ignore in society. She teaches shamelessly &makes it fun as we tackle topics that can be intimidating alone. She creates a safe place for everyone and is truly there to support you in anything and brings in resources/group speakers that you'd never know about. Great class!

I loved Stephanie! She was so sweet and caring when it came to my mental health. She usually assigns about 3 hw assignments per week, a reading assignment that can take a little over an hour, a quiz and a discussion board per week. It may sound like a lot but its really not and the assignments really do help you learn the material! Very fun class!

Stephanie is the most encouraging and hilarious teacher I've had at Sierra so far! She is truly empathetic and made this class an absolute delight to be a part of. The lecture notes were very informative and engaging. Would ABSOLUTELY take more of Stepanie's class if she taught other psych classes beyond PSYC0100 and PSYC0130

ONE of the BEST PROFESSORS at Sierra College, I loved this professor so much from her communication, compassion, and thorough explanation I have taken both of her Psych classes at Sierra, loved them both. She always is quick to respond in email and always help when you ask. Thoughtful & does above and beyond for her students.

I took Stephanie's human sexuality class and it was amazing! (Yes, she prefers to be called by her first name) This was a great online class as the material was straightforward. Stephanie provides great feedback. There are some very personal assignments, but it was no problem as she is awesome at making the students feel comfortable, & understood.

Literally one of the best college professors Ive had so far. She goes above and beyond any teacher I have had. TONS of EC opportunities. She makes video and PowerPoint lectures to accommodate to learning styles. Always participated in the discussion boards and ACTUALLY GAVE FEEDBACK on assignments. Also brings in a guest speakers, PLEASE ATTEND!

Great Professor! Well structured online class. She is very accommodating. Most of the class's assignments can be found online for reference (quizlet), including the midterm and final.

Stephanie was genuinely considerate and understanding. Her lectures were easy to watch and the content of Human Sexuality was very interesting.

This was a good class just there were no video lectures which I like. Prof. gave the lecture in a PowerPoint and just accepted us to read through it. She is probably a little more personal in person, but overall I would take her again. No papers, just a few exams.

Human Sexuality with Professor Coday was great! I believe that this is an extremely important class that everyone should take at some point in their college education. It was an amazing experience learning under Prof. Stephanie Coday in Human Sexuality, she is so validating, trusted, and an amazing teacher. Her lectures were so informative and I even learned many new things about myself that make me feel more secure in myself. I loved taking her course! Passion for the topic and genuinely wants students to learn from the class. Very positive and clear weekly homepages. Multiple weekly DBs. Heads up- She asks very personal questions about students experience with the topic, but you can not answer. Some units are unsurprisingly very controversial, her opinions are clear.

Took her on-campus Psychology class, and she's been the best professor I've had! Very kind and understanding of problems. Easy work, and not too long of exams. Definitely recommend.

Would definitely recommend professor Coday to anyone! She seemed very genuinely caring about the subject and her students, and I really like how this class was structured! What she expected from assignments was always super clear, and if I ever had an issue her communication was awesome :)

I wish she was my professor for every class. She is so caring towards her students and is very accommodating if you voice your concerns. There is a good amount of reading but there is not a lot of homework and it is the same every week including a discussion post, so you know exactly what to expect. I highly recommend her as she is the best!!!!

I absolutely adore Stephanie. She is easily my favorite professor yet. She grades very fairly and allows multiple attempts on homework software. Quizzes are hard, but are worth just as much as a reading assignment. She gives such ample and descriptive feedback and truly helps you to learn. Ten out of ten. Register for her right away.

She made every topic comfortable/easy for everyone! She requires a textbook but we never used it, as her slideshows were always a million years long. As long as you're willing to put in class effort and take notes, this class is an easy A.

Make sure to take notes but all tests are online and you can use your notes so they're not hard if you're prepared. Also the lectures are online if you need to go back to them. Lots of discussion during class too.

All work is done on McGrawHill & you have unlimited tries (you can redo ur assignments until you get the score you want! One discussion post a week. Reading every week, two-three assignments, and 1 quiz a week (on McGrawHill). The professor is great! Honestly it seems like a lot, but if you are not a procrastinator, this class is an easy A.

I would highly recommend anyone and everyone at Sierra to take her Human Sexuality class, she always gives these super insightful and engaging lectures and the class is such a welcoming and safe environment for all. This class isn't even part of my major and it's without a doubt the best class I've taken at Sierra.

Even as an online only class, her care and knowledge really showed through. Reading and hw takes about 2 hours a week and you get 90 minutes for the 2 exams. There are weekly discussion boards, but they're really easy. Her feedback is clear and even though I never met her in person, I can tell that she really cares about her student's success.

TAKE HER CLASS!! She is an outstanding professor and her lectures are fantastic! The work is intimidating but she is there to support you and guides you along the way. Take notes and ask questions. USE ALL THE printouts she gives you. Use the audiobook along with the textbook to help with the reading. DO THE READING BEFORE CLASS! Participate!!!

I was leery of this professor on day 1 bc her syllabus made her seem very type A. I ended up loving her organization, clear concise grading criteria, and extra credit opportunities. I never watched any of her lectures, just read the text and did the online homework and that helped me ace every quiz. Discussion board every week with clear rubric.

All the graded work is online, and the only thing we did in class was listen to lectures. Tended to avoid some of the more complex questions asked, but otherwise, Stephanie is great, cheery professor with a clear passion for educating.

I highly recommend taking Stephanie Coday. She is a fantastic teacher. Clear grading, caring, knowledgeable, and gives extra credit. I took her 8 week course which goes quick. Don't procrastinate, do your homework, participate, and you will get an A.

Prof. Coday was very engaging and was very clear on her expectations. There was a ton of reading and homework, but I took her 8 week course so it was all condensed. I'm sure if you take a 16 week course it wont be as time consuming. She offers a ton of extra credit which is super awesome and helpful. Overall, she is a great teacher!

Stephanie helps her students get good grades. There's a lot of online work, but it's not too hard. Some students think there's too much work, but you should be fine if you set aside time for your assignments. Stephanie knows her students have lives outside of school and she's understanding. She'll help you if you ask.

Stephanie is an amazing professor and her lectures are easy to follow. The homework is easy if you pay attention. Papers do not require MLA format and there are very few of them required. Very non-judgmental and understanding. The only reason I got a C was because I didn't communicate when I needed extra time.

She's great: cares about her students, engaging lectures, and easy homework. at first I thought her class was gonna be so hard but it really wasn't. the only 2 things I didn't like were 1. having to do group work and 2. how time consuming the homework was (I take longer than most people but still, it took me 1-3 hrs on average.)

She's so sweet, genuinely cares about her students, and her class is relatively easy. The final and midterm are formatted weirdly but she's such a good professor that it was insignificant.

Professor Coday is honestly one of my favorite professors that I've had so far within my (almost) 2 years of being at Sierra College. She's definitely one of those professors that genuinely cares for her students, and will take the time and effort just to go the extra mile of helping you.

I would recommend that professor. Be ready to watch lectures and spend some time for multiple quizzes each week, but they had unlimited attempt which what I liked. Weekly discussions and quizzes and midterm/finals. She also offers extra credits.

I actually had her for two courses in the same semester, and they were my favorite classes at that time. I love Stephanie & her lectures. The reading and lectures may be long but they are so interesting. I feel like I am actually learning and love this class. Fast and fair grader. A lot of discussion posts where you have to diligently participate. Overall you do have to do a lots writing, but she is a great professor & she teaches such a cool subject!

Coday is an amazing professor, she really cares for her students and wants you to succeed. However be prepared for a TON of homework especially if you take her online class. Assignments will take you well over an hour so please put the time and effort to doing her work. The assignments are more tedious than hard but time management will help you!

Stephanie is very nice and cares a lot about her students. She is assessable and very kind. There is a lot of busy work in this class (although to be expected because it is an online class) although none of it is that hard and she is very supportive throughout the marathon as she calls it! Very approachable and personable especially for online!

She is honestly one of the nicest professors at Sierra. You can tell she really wants you to succeed. This class had such a positive impact on me that I even decided to join the waitlist for another one of her classes. That's how meaningful and enjoyable this experience was. The lectures are very clear and easy to follow along and the work load is realistic during a week. She gives note pages to fill out along with the lectures and we do lots of group discussion and work sheets. Was easy to finish work whilst taking other classes and having a busy job. (Took 16-week class in person)
