she was a really good teacher...she is not hard at all...she doesnt mind helping and will help you pass if your struggling...she really focuses on essays

Mrs. Denny was one of the best english professors that I have ever had. She was always willing to help with any questions that I had. She is also one of the nicest teachers you could ever get.

Ms. Denny is awesome! Going in to this class I thought it was going to be really difficult but I ended up passing with a B! As long as you go to class, write the essays (There's an essay every week) and do the online assignments, you're sure to pass.

Stephanie is very helpful. Her assignments are clear and percise. Took her class online, passed with an A. A lot of essays but as long as you do them you will receive passing grades.

Let me make this clear, there is NOT a better professor for this class.

She is a great teacher, always very willing to help her students. Even if you have a week to do an assignment, and come in the day it was due and tell her you were confused, she will take you to the lab after class and help you. Very easy to understand.

Ms. Denny is one of the best teachers I've had by far. She's very clear within her teaching, makes everyone feel involved, encourages her students. There is a lot of writing in her class, but she grades very fair. I would recommend her for anyone. The only way you will fail her class is if you just don't care, otherwise her class is a breeze!

shes awesome. her assignments are straight to the point and so is her quarter calendar. her calendar keeps you on track like no other and she doesnt waste your time. she gets straight to the point and helps you with anything. very supportive and likes to encourage her students to do well

I would (and have) recommend Mrs. Denny to anyone. She's enthusiastic and always willing to work with you, helping when needed. When I got stuck on my research essay, her suggestions for an alternate angle approach got me moving again. She made ENGL 1101, one of my first classes in college, a rewarding experience.

I really dont like english especially with my last english teacher, but miss Denny is the sweetest english teacher ever! She is very helpful and works with you, i would definitly recommend her to anyone! She also allows to make up any work you missed ONE TIME so take advantage of that because other teachers dont offer. She's the best!

One of the best instructor i have ever seen. you enjoy doing her class and you learn from her class. And it's not simply easy to get good grades in her class because she grades the paper sincerely and gives the pooints acoording to the merit.But if someone wiiling to work hard, he or she definitely scores well.

She is approachable and great. Very clear on what needs to be done. This class has several areas including: essays, mycomplab grammar, peer reviews, discussion posts. She explains everything and there is a timeline in the syllabus so follow it. I never liked writing, but I have learned a lot and I'm so, so glad I did not take this class online.

I took English 1101 and got a 94 before final! There will be many essays and one research paper. she will give you plenty of time to get your work done. College isn't easy. If you do your work, you have nothing to worry about. Mrs. Denny is great! I will take online 1102 with her next semester.

Incredible instructor, very helpful, responds to emails immediately (sometimes even late at night). Grades extremely fair and is very clear in the work that she wants done. Very easy class, just be prepared to write a lot of papers and read and answer homework questions. CHOSE S. DENNY-she's awesome

Excellent teacher!!! Made an A in the class but the only problem with her is that she takes a while to grade assignments. And for all of the essays just make sure you always take them to the writing center before you turn them in. Great teacher, take her!!

I LOVE this teacher! At first I was thinking English 1101 will be hard because of all the essays we would have to do. But Mrs.Denny made it so easy!! This is by far the best instructor at Gwinnett tech. If you have a choice GO WITH HER!

I took this class when Ms.Denny Received B as final grade. She was very helpful with responding to emails outside of class. She is the only professor I know that will respond to emails on the weekends. Great Teacher!

Professor Denny is the best English Professor ever! She is a fairly easy grader. with the essays, she helps you come up with ideas in class and helps you out with the essays if you ask. She's sweet and very kind and class is never boring. Her essay topics are interesting and they have made me love to write in her class. Take her!

Miss Denny is very down to earth. I took the class online, nevertheless she always show willingness to help. She just need to know and see that you are trying hard. She will give great feedback on the essays. I made an easy A on English 1102, and that class is not easy! Take her, she is the best in the English department at GTC!

I was always procrastinating to take this class as I thought it would be hard for me but the amount of passion and love she puts into what she does, and all the help she is constantly ready to offer cannot be described even with a whole dictionary of nice words. Are 5 stars enough? NO!

I took Mrs. Denny for both English 1101 and English Lit 1102. I had been out of school for 20 years and never wrote an analytical paper. She guided me through this process and was there for me when I needed her. I absolutely love Mrs. Denny! If you do what she says, then you will pass her class. She is AMAZING!

I took Professor Denny's online class so I was unable to meet her in person, but she is wonderful. I'm not much of a writer but I actually enjoyed her assignments. She gave me great feedback, which encouraged me to do better on my essays. This was my first online course but she made the experience very pleasant. )

+ She really loves literature. The lectures were like a book club. You discuss books in the class and write essays home. She will not ask you if you are not ready. I read only a half of all stories, but still did good in the class. She is easy in essay grading. You can use an old book. - Be ready to read and to write. Due dates are hard to follow.

Really nice and helpful. Took online ENGL 1102-class consists of online Pearson textbook activities that are due once a week on Monday nights and 3 essays- each is a large percentage of grade and each aspect of the essay is graded. The first parts are typically a completion grade. Rough draft and final drafts are graded harder but not impossible.

She is amazing. I took her online class. She gives quick, effective, supportive feedback. You have to do the work. But, she's there to help you.

Ms. Denny is an easy grader and gives lots of chances to revive your grade if you do not do so well on any assignments.

I took her course over the summer so the material was more condensed but shes very nice and her discussions were helpful. Only 3 papers total and some home work assignments. Just follow the rubrics and you'll get an A.
