this class was really easy, she helps out a lot with ideas for papers during class, there isn't a lot to do and she picks good reading materials, and not boring ones

young, cute, and bubbly. Real chill and laidback and she lets you do a ton of creative and personal narrative papers. YOu have a lot of freedom in the class and she helped improve my writing skills.

Not easy..more like kickback and way smart. She keeps it interesting all the time, especially for 8am.

She is mad smart and I love her lectures, she opens your eyes to so many possibilities in your topic and expansion. My writing is better now from her class.

very understanding prof. your improvements come from the workshops and getting to know your own process but don't slack. she loooves when you ask questions and will help with any details, also in office visits.

Loved this class. Donnelly was very helpful and understanding. Didn't give you a lot of eassys. Her paper were straightforward and you can mix the prompts together to make it easier to write. Insightful discusssions. Teacher is very energetic and spunky.

what i liked best about ms. donnelly is how open she is to different perspectives. i visited her in her office like three times and she had new ideas every time. fair grader.

Chill and very nice. She picks newer books, so if you're sick of the same old **** take her instead!

This teacher is amazing. I hated english all through high school and she makes it fun. You have good topics to discuss in class, the papers are easy especiallyw with the help she give you. My favortie prof since i have been at here...Took her twice.

AWESOME teacher i hated english but she made it enjoyable, grades fair, she's young and laidback and funny. only 3 essays and only one that was 7 pages, great new books, great energy, sometimes class was cancelled i really think class was cancelled half of the time...LITERALLY

she also makes sure you get the basics u will need for your other classes like MLA. class wasn't cancelled 2 much/u get all work done.

Miss Donnelly was recommended by my roomie and she was amazing!! Discussions were great and my writing is more focused..very clear. Brilliant lady.

English 110 is supposed to be the most brutal freshman class there is but with Ms. Donnelly, it rocks! This woman is AMAZING! Her class is so eazy, and she makes it totally interesting. She even lets you go early most of the time and cancels class a lot too. Best English teacher here, for serious. Sign up for her class!

you want to do good work for her. :) like people say she is very clear about expectations-she also doesn't ramble and yeah, will let you go on time or a little before versus just going on and on. go to office hours, she likes it.

unbelieveable teacher. knows how to handle college writing. not nearly as much writing as other eng 110 classes and she is always available to talk. makes class fun and she is very energetic.

I loved this class! Prof. Donnelly is very easy going and personable. I had so much less work than a lot of my friends that took English 110, but I still felt like I learned a lot. If you have been put off by English in the past, take her and she will make you fall in love with the subject.

HS made me hate writing- she helped remind me how much I love it! She lets you choose your topic, but gives enough structure that you don't get frustrated. She doesn't force the traditional 5 para essay, either. Chooses great books, and summer reading isn't the first thing that's covered. She's interesting, very personable, energetic, and inspiring

Took an early class and she made it bearable. She's a great teacher, take anything you can w/ her!

shes pretty and nice...making it so hard to concentrate on what she was saying in class, but overall very clear on what she wants, and is excellent in lecturing about symbolisms and what not.

Great teacher and equally great person. She is willing to help with anything academic even if it doesn't pertain to her class (big "plus" in my book). I could not care less about teaching pedagogy. Honestly the best teacher I have had at LMU and possibly ever. She cares so much about her students and wants to ensure you are successful in her class and in life. I had her at 8 AM and I can honestly say that I was excited to go to it each week. 100% recommend.

Take her class. She is the best professor I have ever had. She is super nice and an amazing professor. She now teaches ENG101 at Pepperdine University so if you're taking ENG101 you cannot go wrong with her class. Take her if you want a teacher who genuinely cares about each student and tries to help you with all your English needs. TRUST!

She is kind, caring, and funny. We do a lot of writing and little reading. Not a lot of work. No tests, just papers. Understanding. As long as you go to class and give it your best effort you will score well. 10/10 favorite professor

Professor Donnelly is one of the best English teachers I've ever had. Her class is super easy and an A is very easy to obtain if you do the class journals, writing assignments, and show up to class. She uses a very holistic grading practice and doesn't grade papers based on grammar or level of rigor. Short class journals are 90% of the work.

Best professor I have ever had. She gives great feedback to help you improve. She also does not take up the entire lecture if it is not needed. No curveballs in class. One of my favorite professors.

THE BEST PROFESSOR! She is super caring and makes sure to check in with her students. She really cares about the subject and about the well-being of her students. She is very accessible outside of the classroom and will work with you if you are struggling.

I miss this 101! The topics were all interesting and not just typical college essays. Donnelly made me look forward to every class.
