Professor Freuler is really great about helping students out with make up work, and she also gives good advice on papers and projects. A little long-winded, but a very understanding professor if you have to be late or miss a class for legitimate reasons.

She is a really cool professor, I recomend her. She is very understanding and gives you extra time to finish in-class essays. I learned a lot in her class. She is always available if you need help and gives you good hints for essays. 1 of best professors.

this was my first online course and it was actually really fun. the books we read were very interesting and so were the short stories. the class is easy as along as you read. its easy to get ahead too.

Professor Freuler is a great teacher. For me, the subject wasn't interesting at all, but it's very easy nonetheless. I took the hybrid Online/classroom class, so it was even that much easier. Just read the short stories and take the quizes. It's that simple! I would recommend taking this class!

Take the hybrid cours, its a bunch of BS! Skim through the reading assignments and answer the quiz questions at the same time! Shell****your grade with the 3 writting assignments; Theyre hard. Shes really nice and I <3 this class. To explain the 4 in easiness, its b/c the reading assign are long.

I was dreading this class, I have never considered myself a writer, but after all of Mrs. Freuler’s encouragement I gained confidence to write more. She grades fair and didn’t have a midterm, only the final essay that is required by the school. Great professor!!!

Awesome online class. Syllabus tells all assignments and due dates. You can work as fast as you want. Professor responds quickly to e-mails and gives helpful suggestions on papers. She even adds interesting comments to your postings so you really feel like you're having a class discussion. Quizzes are online so you have your grade immediately.

Online class was so easy! Just keep up with all of the reading. Keep note of which characters are in each story. Work ahead if possible. Discussions are cake, just make sure to meet the word requirements. Responds quickly. Extremely organized! Loved her!

Online class, and she does online SO well. There are reading quizzes, postings, 3 papers (ugh) and a final. She responds very quickly to you and responds to EVERY posting, and actually teaches you something when she writes back. Great course. I wish she did more online!

I took her online comp 2 class. She's a fantastic online teacher, everything is clear, responds quickly, grades quickly. Class isn't easy, but it's not hard either. Basic format: 3 readings each week w/quiz and discussion. 3 essays throughout the course. Can't say enough about this class. She knows what she's doing and you will never feel lost.

Took Contempoary Literature online. All my 42 credits have been in online classes, and she's by far the best online instructor. Not easy, but not hard either. Responds very quickly to emails, fast grading, and great feedback. The modern edge stories/books make the class actually fun and interesting. She's great at what she does, recommended.

Online class. She is very helpful, and grades very fast ! Also, the corrected essay gives you a lot of information to improve your level. 3 lectures per week, 3 essays in the semester. Take nearly 3/4hours per week. I recommend this teacher.

She is very organized. You have to read about 23 stories but they are so much fun and short! Short quizes for the stories online (4 ?'s each). Three papers on what you read (super easy). In class she tells you every detail about the story. Her midterm and final (from the midterm on) are easy if you study. Take is you want to learn and have fun! A++

If you don't have the same interpretation as she does concerning a story (and have apt evidence to support your idea) she will refuse to give you points. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. It's not worth the frustration. I have a 89.5, we'll see if she rounds up which I doubt she will if that tells you anything.

I just took her online class and received a B, the class is very easy. There are a bunch of stories to read around 3 each week you take a short quiz and make post on the discussion board, then your done. The essays are also easy, then the final is a little hard but its not that bad. She gives you feedback on all your assignments I highly recommend

Took the internet course over the summer. The assignments are spelled out crystal clear. Write your 3 discussion posts on the weeks selected readings, make sure they're on topic, write your papers on time, check your grammar, and you'll pass with an A. Very good class.

She is a GREAT professor. I had her online for Lit2090 and AML2011. She is very clear about what she wants and there are no surprises. It's a lot of writing but she always gets your stuff graded the day of or the next day. I definitely recommend her! She's awesome!

The class is gen not hard if u keep on top of ur rdgs. However, even going into the final with an "A" I would NOT recommend this prof/crse combo b/c the final is such a large portion of ur grade & tests whether u can recall a specfic line from one of the numerous stories assigned & requires u to take the longest part of the timed test at the end.

the people who say this class is hard are the lazy ones. yes, she gives lots of quizzes and yes, there are essays to do. but the quizzes are all from stories from the textbook and you can do them from home with the textbook right in front of you with no time limit. there are only 3 essays and they are based on the stories. easy class, good teacher.

Easily one of the better teachers I've had. The course was organized and clear. Yes there is work to be done but personally I didn't think it was a lot. The stuff you read is also interesting which adds to the class. Recommended. You will get a good grade as long as you know how to read words and have any critical thinking in you.

This teacher is wonderful! Her incite into the pieces you will study will greatly aid in your comprehension of the material. As an English major, I have to recommend her highly. Class is easy, but lots of writing. It is a lit/gordon rule class after all. The text is a great overall compilation of the greatest works in American lit.

Her AML series are easy and she is a great teacher if you really want to understand American literature. The essay topics can be difficult, but if you accept the challenge, you will really learn through research the subject matter. English majors must take these classes, you won't be disappointed in how much you take from them.

Great online class. An A is possible with some effort. She gives you an updated grade each week. Her expectations are very clear. Weekly readings, discussions and quizzes. Papers aren't hard. The final is comprehensive so make sure you know what you have read during the class. She is very helpful and will get right back to you with an e-mail.

Prof Frueler is a very accessible person and her online class is easy to navigate. She assigns short stories to read and then you must answer an assigned question about them in essay style.Make sure your posts are substantial though, she does not overlook b.s'ing. Three papers due all 800-1000 words. It's your typical Comp class. I recommend her.

She has the BEST online course ever. She is PERFECTLY clear on every assignment, gives great feedback, and grades assignments in a short amount of time, and gives great reasoning as to why you received that grade. She makes the class interesting, even for an online class. It is a lot of reading, however, so make sure you are prepared for that!

Took this online and it was great. All you have to do is follow the syllabus, read the stories, answer the questions and write 3 essays throughout the semester. Finals is questions about stories that you read and a short essay. Take this class online.Its much easier. You will pass. Easy.

Pretty easy online class. There are a few short papers and you have to read 3 non-textbook books that are really fun reads. The quizzes are taken right off Sparknotes so don't worry too much. The prof gives great feedback and is really nice. I recommend this class!

It is an online class, so interaction is minimum. She is a good teacher, her lectures are great and also offers feedback on your essays before submitting them which is really helpful. Weekly units easy to follow

BEST TEACHER EVER. I took her online class & it was the best decision ever. You have homework of a quiz & discussion on each short story you read. Sometimes she gives you 3 or 4 stories to read so it seems like a lot but it's not. she grades it the very next day & gives you feedback. CHOOSE PROF FREULER! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Professor Freuler is a good professor but very strict on grading. I took her online. Her assignments aren't difficult and each week of work can be done in two hours. If you're not ready to give your all in writing then avoid this professor, she is a strong critic.

Took her online Contemporary Lit flex course. Very clear with expectations and realistic. I also enjoyed the books she chose for the class they were good reads and I learned something new from them. Need an easy humanities? Take Contemporary Lit.

I took Professor Freuler for Comp II online. Quizzes weekly on short stories/poems/plays and lectures. Tough grader on papers, but if you see her and take her advice your grades will improve! Best thing I did. Final exam over the lectures and readings, only 25Q and 1 short essay. She's a great professor, but you have to work for your grade!

Anyone who said they got a bad grade in her class did not try! Writing is not my best subject but if you listen to her advice on what to change on your paper your grade will improve mine did! She takes the time to know you personally and is very clear about what she expects from you. I loved this class and everyone around me in it loved it too.

Great teacher!!! There are 4 major writing assignments. She keeps things interesting, and is sooo helpful once she sees you making an effort. There was some reading and online quizzes but they're overall not too bad. Great advice for writing. However, I NEVER used The Little Seagull book. I Highly recommend her for freshman comp 2!!!! :)

I loved her ! I dont know why some people are saying she is rude . If you try your best on the papers, you will do great. She likes to see your putting effort. Ask questions and follow directions. Never had a problem with her, she was always very helpful and sweet. All essays are based on like 4 stories/plays.

It's true that she's a tough grader and a strict professor, but her feedback is constructive. Whenever you need help, she offers good resources that you can use to help you get a good grade in the class. Although I'm taking the online class, I don't feel overwhelmed as much. If you know how to schedule your time, you will pass her class. :)

Freuler is a great professor. She is tough when you don't do the assignments she assigns on canvas, so keep up with all her work. She will tell you straight up what needs to be fixed and she doesn't sugar coat anything. Final was to present but she doesn't grade you like she normally would, i feel like she graded us easier on this.

I'm taking her online English course. She makes you decide on 1 topic and you end up researching and writing all ur essays on that 1 topic. This semester she made us do 2020 election topics, for example, health insurance. Take her if you like writing abt 1 topic, she's ok but I prefer variety. I've been writing abt the same thing and It's not fun.
