Hello, this is the future you, read this: AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS. she will not teach you anything and expects you to do the learning yourself. Her teaching method is irrelevant and the "good reviews" she has, is someone that are paid to give her them. Trust me, she is not a good professor for the life of her. 350 words don't describe how bad she is

Disorganized, scrambled, and rushed, talks about her kids, her home, and nothing related to the course. She expects way too much out of her students. I don't think there are enough characters for how terrible of a professor, if you could call her that. Let me tell you, I have no words for how her class is. Im speechless how she treats her students

Honestly, she is probably one of the most disorganized professors I've ever had. Her teaching style is all over the place, her slides are messy, and although she often encourages you to ask questions, she can be really condescending when you do. I would not recommend taking her if you can avoid it.

DONT DO IT! All the reviews are right. She doesnt care about you, DONT take it in the summer unless you are prepared to spend her required minimum of 18 hours a week solely doing her class. She is ridiculous and very condescending. She doesnt tell you whats wrong or right on your quizzes and tests or give you the correct answers.

She is the worst professor at Rider. She does not care about you and she is so disorganized. She singles certain people out and makes you feel embarrassed. She also wore a t shirt with a middle finger on it to class. DO NOT TAKE HER AND IF YOU HAVE HER GOOD LUCK!!!

Awful, plays favorites for certain people. You will get virutally nothing out of her lectures as all she talks about are her kids and even her divorce. Give so many articles to read and TedTalks to watch and goes over virtually none of them. Only redeeming part of her class is that some of her tests she allows you to take twice.

She was very absent during much of our class. We worked at our tables in groups on the school laptops for almost everything. When I had difficulties I did not feel her explanations were very helpful nor did I feel like she cared much about my asking for support. She was 'extra friendly' with certain students and less than helpful to others.

Awful. No clear grading criteria. No clear expectations set. Tons of pointless busy work group discussion posts. Her slides are disorganized and her pre-recorded lectures aren't helpful. She introduces new concepts without context and you will have to make sense of what she's saying. When asking a question her response will be "go to slide xx".

It is hard to describe how frustrating it was to sit in her classes and listen to her talk about her children, dogs, or whatever other arbitrary topic she was on. I did not feel like I was learning during class time, which is more disappointing since it was a class and a lab. I avoid taking her again because I do not want to teach myself.

Very bad at teaching. Slides are loaded with terms that have no definitions next to them, and she essentially expects you to essentially teach terms to yourself. On top of her poor teaching philosophy, she assigns an abundance of homework since it "activates your synapses" to help you learn, though she never really explained the concepts well.

Golski is huge on not using phones in the classroom. Normally I'd say that's a reasonable rule, except her lectures are barely about psych, and make little to no sense. You'd learn more taking a lecture from a rock than from her. Her homework is long and confusing with little to no explanation, she doesn't explain her slides, and is quite selfish.

This woman drained the life out of me. She took all the hopes I had of graduating and destroyed them. She's rude, she barely teaches, her quizzes make no sense, I couldn't handle her and ultimately dropped out of the entire school, because she was my advisor. When I asked for help she said I was "like speaking to a wall." There was no escape.

Don't take this professor ever!! Her class was honestly the only one that I have ever dreaded going to. She would bad mouth other professors. If you asked for help or asked questions about grades she will be super condescending and wants "content based questions" instead. She also didn't put in grades assignments for my final grade. Not very nice.

Hard to understand, doesn't answer direct questions when asked, and is very unorganized. I spent so much time outside of class teaching myself the content. A lot of the content she would mention in class wouldn't even be included on exams, and then random vocabulary or content would be there. She's relatively nice, but avoid her classes if you can.

She's very tough grader. She also creates her own techniques on assignments so you have to follow how she does it or it will be graded incorrect. The class is already stressful and she just adds more stress with the high expectations and heavy grading.

I rarely understood what was happening in the lectures, any learning from this class came from outside of class. Very specific about the wording of things in assignments, but she posts the lectures online so that helps a bit with reviewing. You have two attempts for each exam, which are online, so those are never too difficult.
