Kuntz is a great professor. This was my first ever DIST class and I learned so much. The lectures provided a wide variety of topics and were all very interesting. There's one big group project where you research a specific disability and even though it is a lot of work you learn a lot through the project.

The class has a good pace to it and there's rarely any homework. The group project for the class, we only had one day of class time to work on it so it's mainly finding time outside of class that works for everyone to get it done but there were zero issues with that. And the overall course info is really interesting.

Her lectures are very interesting & the assignments are presented well so that you understand exactly what she is looking for

Professor Kuntz is a very kind and great professor! Especially for someone like me who has her 1st semester freshman year, she made my adjustment into a new type of learning so much easier and stress relieving! Her lessons are very interesting and follows the syllabus exactly. She is also very helpful and gives great feedback for assistance!

Professor Kuntz was one of my favorite professors this semester. You can tell that she loves what she is teaching and is very passionate towards it. I liked the fact that she always tried to break the class up by playing videos or completely group assignments instead of just lecturing the whole time.

Professor Kuntz is laid-back and shows genuine care making the subject matter easy to grasp. The class required attendance. We had to write quite a few papers, but her clear instructions made it doable. The course also included group projects. Her dedication to students creates a great learning atmosphere that I suggest you experience!

Professor Kuntz is a great professor and one of the best I had this semester. She does have experience in the field which is always interesting to know about. There's group discussion almost everyday, but even if that's not your thing it's divided into smaller groups which I found better. There are papers, projects, & homework but nothing crazy.

Professor Kuntz is one of the most inspiring, caring, flexible, and understanding professors. She makes her lectures fun and passionate to help students to push through challenges through enjoyable classes. It is obvious that she cares about her students and education as a whole, which to me is truly what makes a teacher so great.

Professor Kuntz has experience in her field so she gave many lectures of information based off of her personal experience which was very interesting rather than just learning basic information. I enjoyed taking HDFS220 with Professor Kuntz she is very kind and personable. There wasn't a lot of homework which was nice but there were enough assignments to earn points. She does take attendance and it gets graded. Overall, I learned a lot about child development in this class!

Definitely go to office hours if you need help on any assignments/midterm/final paper. HDFS220 was one of my favorite classes this semester and I would 100% take another class with her!

Kuntz has been one of my favorite professors here so far at UD. She is very nice and understanding. Workload is very fair and she gives you the option for her to look over big assignments before you turn them in. Its an enjoyable class to go to and wont tank your gpa.

This was by far my favorite class, and a great one to start your freshman year with. Professor Kuntz's lectures were always engaging. The work load and grading is very reasonable. You can tell she cares about her students, and is very passionate about child development. I highly recommend this class, and was sad to see it come to an end.

Professor Kuntz was so passionate about the topic of the class and was able to share her field experience with us. She was incredibly kind and explained things in a way that was easy for me to understand. She had us do in class activities with peers for class participation/attendance points. This got us read for our final presentation.

Professor Kuntz really cares about her students and their success. She is really flexible. Go to class and make sure to hit the deadlines but other than that, course load is light.

Professor Kuntz was a great professor! I will say though in the last 3 weeks of the semester she loaded on a lot of assignments. They were easy but they were assigned at an inconvenient time in the semester considering a lot of other professors were giving work too and finals were approaching. It was overall an easy class!

I loved this class so much! I was a TA for another class this semester, and it was held at the same time as Professor Kuntz's class. When I had to go to that other class, she was so understanding. Professor Kuntz is a fantastic professor! Lectures are pretty straightforward, but you must attend class to receive a participation grade.

I loved this class and Professor Kuntz! I was a TA this semester, which was hosted at the same time as this class, and when I had to miss some classes, Kuntz was incredibly understanding. I would retake this class and any class with Professor Kuntz again in a heartbeat. Make sure you attend class to receive a grade for attendance.

Professor Kuntz is so positive. She radiates with positivity and knowledge about the course. Attendance does matter and a lot of work piles on at the end but she is extremely empathetic and will work with you!

(There also isn't aren't any exams or quizzes, just written assignments which I really appreciated!!)

I love Professor Kuntz! I took HDFS 270 with her and loved it as well. This class is easy as long as you show up and put the work in. Rent the textbook from the library. She is always available to meet outside of class or look over your assignments. No exams!

I took both 220 and 270 with Professor Kuntz and highly recommend her!!!!!! She's kind, engaging, and always willing to help. She values communication and makes class worthwhile. Be sure to attend class, though, since she does random attendance checks and offers in-class extra credit. 10/10 TAKE HER CLASSES!!!

Professor Kuntz was exceptional and informative. She created projects that engaged the classmates with one another and allowed us to express creativity , providing different options for assignments creating flexibility for different learning styles.

Professor Kuntz was overall a good teacher with pretty easy to follow assignments all outlines in the syllabus. She made the class fun and engaging with multiple projects and group work throughout the semester. I would say attendance is mandatory as and there are multiple opportunities for extra credit.

There's a small group activity after almost every lecture and you get access to all the slideshows. Assignments aren't difficult but can be time-consuming and in text citations matter! She was a great professor and you can tell she loves her job and is passionate when teaching!

Professor Kuntz was a great professor, but be prepared to write a lot. We had a midterm, final, weekly homework, and a group project. None of the material was too complicated but it did take a while. There's assignments each day that you lose participation if you are not in class to complete. Additionally, she is very strict on her late policy.

Professor Kuntz was awesome! Her lectures were interesting and engaging with the class and she was always willing to help if you had any questions. It's a lot of paper writing but no exams which was great. Participate and go to class and you'll do well.
