LOVE HER! She is very helpful and very smart. Mr. Marin is very interested in helping students and making sure we understand. She is softspoken, cute, and intelligent. Her notes/powerpoints are helpful. Definately take her!

VERY EASY. PIECE OF CAKE.BASIC BIOLOGY. EXAMS ARE SUUUPER SIMPLE!!!! Dont expect to learn anything. can pass with an A++++ based on memorizing power points notes. OH and LOTS OF extra credits opportunities

Very easy class. Especially if you took biology in high school. She really just reads from the power point everday, which is why the attendance was so low. But shes nice, no homework, and the tests are straightforward. Just pay attention and youll be fine.

Professor Marin's class is super chill! Just watch the lecture online and take notes off those lectures. The tests she gives are easy and some are common sense answers. I recommend taking her for biology! P.S. Don't buy the textbook!

The online course consisted of 4 tests and assignments for extra credit. The class is taught by online lectures that are easy to pause and resume later. The class isn't difficult but you do have to see and read all the lectures to get a good grade on the test. No textbooks required, saved me money. Thanks Prof!

This class was very easy. Attendance isn't taken except for movie days so attendance isn't mandatory. The lectures are all on blackboard and the test are straight from those power points. Easy class and would recommend to anyone.

She is really nice and her class is very straight forward and easy. Even though it was an easy class I learned a lot about human sexuality. Her lectures are very interesting and I would recommend anybody to take her.

I had her for Lab and she's super sweet and funny. Quizzes once a week but are pretty easy because they are basically what you did in lab the previous week.

Very easy class when it comes to a lab. She barely checks your labs on a weekly basis, BUT there is a quiz every class period (which is once a week). She is super smart and loves BIO. Great attitude and personality. Sweet as a cupcake!

I had her for Bio 110 and I honestly love her lectures. I had it at 7:45 in the morning and i was rarely ever bored by them. She is EXTREMLEY NICE. Also, there is extra credit. For us, her tests were online and just pay attention and you should get an 85% for just listening. Honestly, it's like a college student was lecturing the class. Awesome!

I took her Bio 110 online class. it's really great because it all really depends on your time management. you have to be really independent and go through each lecture at your own pace, and finish all that's needed for exam day. She will just give you everything before hand in the syllabus. there's also extra credit!!

No need to show up to class, but if you do theyre pretty entertaining. Just look at the powerpounts before and during the test (online) and youre good. Graded entirely on four tests (non cumulative, final is just the forth test)

Her tests are all take home so tag team with some buddies and ACE the test. There is also extra credit available. If you don't study with others then you might do poorly on tests just because its a lot of info and the test is timed. So really study the power points for a good grade unless you're a bio pro.

best professor I've had yet at CPP, take them if you can! If you want an easy show up to class and listen, she'll tell you when to write things down as it'll be on the test.

Take her online class. She has four exams, no quizzes, no homework, and two chances for extra credit. She posts all of her lectures online, which are clear and easy to listen to / watch. Just don't skip an exam by accident, and you'll be fine.

I hate bio (took it bc GE) but this was fine. Clear and funny lectures and she's super passionate about explaining things. Your grade is only 4 tests and its open powerpoint and everything since they are online. The extra-credit helps a lot (especially me to keep my A) if you do mess up on an exam or two. Pretty easy class otherwise. Take her!

Take Professor Rothman online class! It's very easy! It only consists of four test but I highly recommend doing her extra credit opportunities it really helped my grade a lot! No hw or quizzes just tests. Her lectures are online overall she is funny and passionate about biology!

She knows her stuff, so she talks fast, but it's an easy A. No textbook, 4 open book online exams, offers extra credit. She reminds her students before everything, multiple times, so that we don't forget exams without sending out too many notifications. She is also very non-biased towards race/gender/religion for a biology teacher which is amazing.

Prof. Rothman seemed really laid back, easy A, this is a great class to take over the summer or with heavy work. Tests+quizzes are all MC/TF. A few easy assignments on videos, and 5 one page assignments that you get to pick from a list. Lot of EC opportunities. If you get the chance, take her!

This professor is honestly a sweetheart. She truly cares about her students, which is hard to find at CPP. She wants you to pass and gives 3 assignments that you can pick the topic, discussion boards that ARE NOT due every weekend (which is nice) and quizzes, tests, and a final. So with all that she even adds 3 extra credit opportunities. TAKE HER

This was my 4th time taking a bio class and I was dreading it, but Professor Rothman made it so much fun! The lectures made sense to what we were learning and they were easy to follow. I loved taking this bio class because of this professor. it's really easy to see that she genuinely loves the subject.

Good online teacher. I hate bio and i passed with an A. Super amazing lectures, assignments are easy( watch nature documentarys or plant flower). Quizzes are easy and you have 5 questions and she gives you 10 min. Extra credit is easy( charity funding $10, volunteer. Also can google answers and use notes.

Easiest online class! Only 4 sections, with open note/internet tests, engaging lecture videos, and easy assignments. She gives extra credit for charity work, and was understanding when my assignment didn't upload on time. This class is easy to forget about most of the semester, because the work is only due once a month. Very easy to pass!

I took her online human sexuality class and it was an easy A. Do your work and study for the quizzes and tests and u should be fine! She also offers 3 extra credit opportunities (10 pts each). The class is very doable. Grade earned: A

Super clear material and a pure pleasure to do for a GE class. One of the best starting online classes you could take. I would definitely recommend this class to somebody who's a bit iffy about online classes. This should give you a feel for how it runs.

This prof is extremely patient and kind to everyone. I wish all of my professors would be like her! This was my first time taking an online class and if I could I'd take this class again every year. She makes everything easy to do and the deadlines are very reasonable. Just do light reading on the material and you should pass :)

1 of eziest classes i've taken in my college career. and class was very interesting. she used youtube vids for lecture, did not have to buy book. quiz and tests are open note, open book, open internet. 4 quiz, 4 test, 4 writing assignments that you choose (2 pg each assingment). other assignments are watch movies and write 2 page paper about it

Her exams are open-book, easy, and a lot of questions were based off of common knowledge. The assignments are simple. She offers plenty of extra credit and was really accommodating during this difficult time. Can't really fail her class unless you try to.

Stephanie Rothman's online bio class is the easiest class I have taken in college. Most of it is introductory, and everything is open at the beginning of the semester. The exception is quizzes and tests which open at certain dates for a week. These are open note and internet, but you don't want to google every question, so study and pray!

Amazing class she's super chill and is easy to get in touch with. She truly cares about her students and will always be there for you. Her class was EASY you learn some cool things, but as long as you do everything on time it's an easy A.

This was honestly one of the easiest classes I have ever taken and mostly because she is an extremely chill professor. She made everything due at the end of the semester, but just don't forget about them! The assignments were definitely not hard at all, just a couple of papers, quizzes, and tests.

Professor Rothman is amazing! The course is overall very doable and easy. Just keep up with the lectures and take notes. The majority of the questions are based on the lectures. There are 4 quizzes, 4 tests, and 4 you pick assignments. She offers extra credit as well! Keep up with the lectures and you will be just fine.

She is amazing! Definitely recommend her to anyone looking to take biology. I had never enjoyed biology in high school, but her lectures are entertaining and you learn so much from them.

Every assignment is a 2-page reflection; the class is asynchronous (able to work on your own time). Watching pre-recorded lectures help you easily pass quizzes and exams. There are easy extra credit opportunities as well. She sends heart-warming messages via email to check up on how we are doing from time to time. No group work, all individual.

Overall really enjoyed her class. Class was completed on your own time. Exams are tough but if you study her lecture slides you should be fine. Assignments are easy and simple. Just complete your work on time because she doesn't accept late work. She offers a ton of extra credit too. Take this class!

Rothman is fairly good at explaining the concepts of the class. Overall, the class is not difficult, and there are many opportunities for extra credit in case you do poorly on an exam. The lectures are all prerecorded videos, and there are few assignments given out over the course of the semester.

The class was asynchronous, so all of her lectures were in video format that I could watch whenever. Her quizzes/exams were online and open-book, open-notes, open-INTERNET (crazy she even let us, I know). So I basically could just ctrl+C ctrl+V the questions I couldn't answer into Google. She seemed very nice from the videos I watched.

4 topics/units with each one having 2 two page papers and 1 quiz and 1 exam. Everything in a respective unit is due on one specific date. Unit modules are around 2 hrs of lectures. Very easy class to pass and get an A. Just do the work and get it in on time and thats it.

Highly recommend you take this if you need a GE area covered. I'll just say this, for the quizzes and tests... studying is optional. Quizlet is 100% your friend. You do have some 2 page responses due each unit (4 units total), but they relate to personal experiences for the most part so it shouldn't be hard to breeze through those.

At first I was nervous to take a biology class, but I'm so glad I did. It is obvious from her online power point presentations that she is very passionate about her teachings. This is an easy class to pass with an A as long as you keep up with the syllabus, you can learn a lot (as I did).

I took this course my first semester and it was a breeze! It was completely asynchronous which allowed me to work on the assignments whenever I wanted. Prof. Rothman had lectures for every unit that were enjoyable to watch and easy to follow. Discussions, exams, and projects were super easy as well and I had no problem passing this class.

Had fully async. Pretty easy class if you manage your time and do lectures. Lectures are simple and the class itself is basic general education biology. Average overall.

Really easy class, 4 total units, and each unit has lecture videos and requires submissions for notes, 1 DB, exam, and a "you-pick" assignment. Exams are open-everything but I'd suggest paying attention to the lectures just in case. Overall an extremely easy class!

Her class is really easy. It was fully asynchronous for me, make sure to manage our time and not get behind on the work. There are 4 sections, each section has notes to turn in, an exam, a "you pick" assignment, and a discussion board. Take notes on the lectures and you'll be fine on the exams. Professor Rothman is one of the easiest professors I have taken at CPP. She divides the material into four different units and assigns you all your assignments at once with a given deadline. Her class is so easy and her lectures are super entertaining with a lot of information in them. I would definitely take her class again just for fun!

A lot of writing assignments but you get to choose what topic you want to discuss based on the options offered! She is so open-minded and a very kind professor. Doesn't provide much feedback at all but honestly, you can do well in her class as long as you complete all her assignments. She offers extra credit, too!

The class was asynchronous but her pre-recorded lectures were really interesting, with a few jokes slid in. She gives you a few weeks to complete the unit work (watch lectures, lecture notes, quiz, and small project you pick yourself) at your own pace. If you take notes, the open-notes, open-internet tests will be easy (don't rely on the internet).

For each unit, about once a month, they have a test, notes, and a u-pick assignment due. U-pick assignments are like actually fun?!?! Test is easy cuz it's open-note and is exactly the notes. Only issues: she talks pretty fast in the notes videos and leaves BARELY any room to take notes despite it all being on the test. Don't procrastinate!

class is straightforward and everything is an open note and open internet. You can use all online resources so you are guaranteed an A. She wants to make sure everyone ends with an A. All assignments are very easy and towards the end of every month, you do the assignments which are discussion, quiz, and a pick assignment which is too easy. Great!

I enjoyed taking Professor Rothman's class! While the class was asynchronous, I still appreciated her efforts to communicate with the class. The assignments weren't difficult, and the tests were all open note. The material was interesting as well. Would definitely recommend taking this class if asynchronous classes work well for you!

This is one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. There are 4 units with 3-6 subunits that you need to take notes on, a test and a fun activity for each unit. Super easy, and her videos are very informative.

easiest class ever, GUARANTEED A+. 4 assignments where you pick from a lists (you can watch movies or shows and write about that), submitted notes, 4 quizzes/tests (recommend quizlets ;P ), and 4 sides assignment. and couple discussion posts. tons of extra credit, replies frequently. make fun drawings and very laid back, assignments due each month.

fully online class, everything is done on your own time. there are 4 units and each has an assignment of notes based on lecture videos- some are longer than others can range from 5-20 minites, exam- open notes/ internet, and a you pick assigment- which you get to choose what you do for it so its super easy. it was fun and easy

I highly recommend this class to any majors that have many labs since the lab is not mandatory. The video lectures can be pretty slow but they contain everything you need to know for the tests. There are 4 mini projects for each unit which were easy and you pick which one you want to do. Overall this is a super easy class.

her class was really easy, 2-3 assignments due every couple weeks and it's very doable and flexible and she's very kind

Just take the class, she's AWESOME. Her lectures are easy to digest. Except some of them are 20-35mins so don't push them off. Loved her you-pick assignments they were so much fun. She wants you to pass! If you have questions just email her, I did once at 8pm and she got back to me an hour later when she didn't have to. I hope to take her in-person

Professor Rothman held an online asynchronous class and everything was set up in a way that made it easy to navigate and get things done on time. Makes deadlines crystal clear and lectures very well given it is an online class as you can still feel her energy through the screen. Truly deserves a five.

There were chapter related assignments. Notes, an independently done assignment, and a test. Notes took up the most time, which was done by the online video she posts for the chapter. The independent assignment is done by choosing out of a list she posts and finishing something on the list. Tests allowed the internet and notes. Great teacher.

Professor Rothman is a super chill professor. It worked with my schedule as the class was asynchronous. Definitely reccomend taking her class for anyone wanting to learn more about human sexuality. Very easy A as long as you do all the writings etc. She also has extra credit for writing a paper if you need an extra boost in your grade

Took this course async but she has a clear structure for the course. There are videos and other resources she provides per week and as long as you understand the material, the exams will be easily done. You will also need to do an activity where u choose your assignment but there is a wide range that should fit your preferences and strengths.

TAKE HER! i dont get why anyone will fail her class. her tests were open internet and open notes! And she just has 4 units and each unit was due each month. Like bruh u have so much time to do it.

She is very stick to it and open with her tests, where you can find the answers to questions on the test straight from the notes. She makes very creative projects, which were very enjoyable and easy to do. She answers her emails in the time span she would in the syllabus. Overall, her course is very fun and worth it.

I passed this class like high school. Test are easy tha you can pass easily. Plenty of extra credit & lectures are open notes. Online was easy for me. Her exams are not cumulative. Do the readings & videos. I do like her class but a little rude on inbox convos. No late work accepted. Her essays are not that long that I did 5 page report assignment.

one of the easiest courses i have ever taken. its an asynch class, and she gives you a month to complete the work for each unit. lecture notes, 1-2 page essay of your choice, discussion, and an OPEN-INTERNET exam for each unit. easy A as long as you don't leave everything behind till the last minute. highly recommend!!!

Great class but online so its do it yourself but very nice professor.

Class is very easy and you are given a month for each topic to complete assignments. Doing the assignments shouldn't take more than a week to complete and exams are open note/internet/book. Make sure to stay on top of work as due dates are strict

Dr. Marin-Rothman is a great Professor and teaches a very easy course. The class was fully asynchronous and consisted of reading, simple projects, quizzes, and other assignments. It was really straightforward and she seemed to be a really nice and chill grader. This is how a general ed class should be! I would highly recommend taking her!

One of the easiest classes I've taken besides an online government class. This class consists of 4 units with a test, discussion, and lecture notes due each unit. I would forget about having this class until a week before the unit due date, then complete it all in 2 days. I probably spent a total of 24 hours on this class all together.
