Professor Piazza is very helpful! The first day of class I thought I was going to go crazy because she was too organized, but after the first week or so i grew to like her. She's a great teacher and will answer any question you have. She's very down to earth too. She's an overall great teacher! TAKE HER!!!

She is such an awesome professor. Really sweet and very very helpful. If you are confused with anything, she is more than willing to help you. At first she seems way strict, but within a week or so you will see that she is not. You really learn a lot of things in her class. I recommend her for anyone who is taking Read 142!

First day I met this teacher I knew I took the right class. I love a strict teacher, but a total sweet heart. She is so much fun and hilarious, I love her stories. Books are mandatory, study vocab and don't expect an easy grade if you don't do the work. I'm taking her again for Read 142. Ask a question and you will def get help.

Must do work on time! She is very strict about writing in the third person, MLA format. Very helpful, and will work with you to answer any and all questions. She has a dark humor, and likes wit.

Best professor I've had so far

One of the best teachers I've had the chance to be instructed by. The more you participate the more you learn in her class. She is very awake at 7:30 and her wit is right up there with her. She's young and vibrant and not set in her ways like other professors who have been teaching since the dawn of time. She's very Liberal in her thinking.

Took her for reading 56. Stay on top of your homework and it is almost an easy A. Entertaining. She worked hard to eliminate our textbooks, so we read 2 awesome books, worked on 2 main projects, maybe 4 tests max. TAKE HER.

Her assignments are insightful but not too difficult and the reading material is not boring at all unlike other classes. She's funny, too. Had no problem going to this class every day. Would seriously recommend her, it can't get much better than this!

Easily one of the top professors I have had. She works hard to get you to learn, with an attitude that if you don't get it now, we'll work on it and you'll get it soon. She uses positive reinforcement, which is always nice. Grades tough but fair, but she'll help you get that top grade. On a side note, haven't had a crush on a teacher since HS =P

I was shocked to find a professor like her existed. Having not been in school for five years, and starting this semester off with a bad depression, she flipped learning around for me. She makes the uninteresting interesting. Assessments can be tough but she is so clear, intelligent, and witty. She helped change my life, ad I'm so grateful for that.

She is AMAZING. She is very friendly, and really wants to see her students succeed. You get to read 2 books instead of buying a textbook, you have about 5 vocab exams, midterm, finals. She is a tough grader, but it's only cause she expects a lot out of her students. This is not a class you want to slack off in or miss cause you will fail. TAKE HER!

Mrs. Piazza has great intentions. She really wants her students to understand the material and get them thinking. Definitely not an easy A though. She assigns so much work, it's not funny. I even overheard other reading teachers talking about how she assigns SO MUCH WORK, they were even complaining. If you don't like work make her your last option.

Not an easy class at all but extremely extremely helpful. She's a fun and engaging teacher and has high expectations. If you want an easy A, then avoid definitely. Down-to-earth, INCREDIBLE professor. I returned to college after taking 4 years off and I truly feel like she set me up for success in my future classes. She is not an easy professor whatsoever and does assign lots of work, but she is consistent in being there to help out when you need it and is great at communicating with her students. Recommend.

She is the most fantastic female reading teacher ever! She encourages you to study very well for tests, quizzes, and exit exams. Instead of textbooks to work, you read 2 novels to work. I got the highest F on mine. She don't curve grades or give extra credit and YOU MUST BE IN CLASS EVERY TIME. She's a nice person, though.

Professor Piazza is a nice professor, she is willing to help her students to pass her class but be aware that this class is going to be taught at a college level pace so be ready to buy 2 books and some flash cards. This class requires a ton of effort to pass, this is not your typical reading 56 class but a fast one so be prepared!!!!!!!!!!!

If you show her that you are ready to do your best, she is there for you. Send her email when you have doubts about weekly lab assignments because every mistakes (even minimal mistakes), she will hurt your grade. For instance, European format to the date. Choose carefully your partners because 30% of the grade is on the project. Good Luck!

Professor Piazza is a really fun teacher. She is really interactive with her students and very helpful. I really enjoyed her class. The active reading you learn and do in the class is very helpful, But sometimes tedious and not necessary. Beware the 50 min lab assignments took me sometimes 3 hours. Work hard in this class and you will pass!

She is an ok teacher. She is very rude when you do not follow her rules. VERY STRICT! She gives a lot of homework. Miss a class and you pretty much fail. Fast paced.

Great professor, very supportive. You can't ask to many questions. Class and lab work isn't hard to stay on top of, but the projects are very intense and time consuming if you want a good grade. The final is the only test she gives. Highly recommend Professor Piazza.

She does give you a good amount homework, but its enough for you to learn something. Not just homework, homework and more homework and you won't know anything. Always has a smile on her face and helps you build a good growth mindset. I would recommend her to anyone.

I love Piazza. She was extra understanding with some of my absences and is very clear in what she wants from you as a student. Her assessments are done in small groups with her help. THERE IS A LOT OF HOMEWORK. And if you are like me and have a hard time turning in HW you will have a tough time passing this class. Requires a lab outside of class.

So, I haven't received my grade yet since it's the middle of the semester but I just wanted to say how amazing professor Piazza is. Her classes includes many reading assignments (annotations) but I find them helpful so its all good. She's also super nice and understanding so that's a plus! Lastly she offers EXTRA CREDIT so I mean why not take her?

Piazza is great. I took her for ENG100. Her writing subjects are more on present topics and really dives into human sexuality and cultural conditioning. Her class is a mix of Psychology and English. Go to the writing center, it helps so much with the essays. She offers extra credit and the books are very very inexpensive.

Professor Piazza makes you enjoy the subject! In her class be prepared to read and discuss the readings in groups. She did assign one book but through out the semester she makes sure you have enough time to do everything. In her class we were assigned three essays, the essays can be a little heavy but she does give great feedback and extra credit!

Not lecture heavy. The hardest part about this class is that there are 3 essays due (6.5 pages min). She gives up to 10% extra credit on each essay if you visit the writing center though. There are no in-class essays, but there is a Final consisting of multiple choice and and short answer questions. Not too hard as long as you focus in class.

The usual essays, pretty lengthy but she lets you choose your own prompt. Lots of reading assignments, but its self-graded basically. Big test at the end but it's common sense. Kinda a funky, weird, but fun professor. Passive aggressive at times and doesn't tolerate lateness. Good class if you do well in English generally, no complaints really

Professor Piazza was AMAZING. Offers a lot of extra credit and if you do your work you will get a good grade. I took her over the summer so the workload was a little bit heavier but the work is very doable. You learn a lot about love. 4 essays and the final was 5 SAQ. I ended the class with a 102%. Definitely would take her class again.

Professor Piazza is honestly the best professor Ive had in college! English 100 online was not boring. We learned a whole bunch about love, sex, sexuality, and relationships! It was kinda like a human sexuality class. She offers extra credit and responds to emails very quickly. Shes very supportive and understanding. Definitely recommend her!

I would definitely recommend Professor Piazza for Engl 103! She is a very caring and fair professor. Professor P definitely wants you to do well in this class and offers a lot of great extra credit opportunities. If you want an A in this class be sure to put the work in as well, there will be lots of reading but everything is manageable.

I loved Professor Piazza's online course. There are no zoom meetings, but she does post some short lectures once in a while. There is a lot of active reading, but it is very interesting! She teaches on the subjects of western culture, love and polyamory. She takes the time to give feedback on many assignments and is always there to help.

Definitely take Piazza! English 100 with Piazza was a lot more than I expected - in a good way! I didn't realize how many cool things I would learn about other than writing. We read things that are modern and relatable. She teaches about cultural conditioning, relationships, and sexuality. I actually learned a lot about myself in her class!

Professor Piazza has to be one of, if not the, best professor I have taken here at Fullerton College. She is extremely encouraging and is very accessible outside of class. Her Canvas page is very organized and serves to keep you aware of everything that is due and will be coming up in the week. There is a lot of reading in this class so be ready!

Professor Piazza is an amazing professor. I had her for a course 10 years ago, and loved her. After leaving school behind for years, I saw she was teaching this course and I knew right away I wanted to go back to school because she is so inspirational. She worked with me during a health issue, and is very clear about what she expects. A true gem.

I took ENG 100F during the summer and the experience was great! We talked about cultural conditioning, love, and relationships. All were very interesting topics and made it easy to write essays about! Even though it was online, she still made us feel connected. She gets back to messages quickly and hw was a good amount. Learned a lot from her!

Professor Piazza is insanely kind and genuine! She does have quite strong liberal views, but if you're from a minority group (like me) you'll find that she does everything in her power to make you comfortable. She gives you a week's extension on each essay + extra credit to make up the point deduction. easy going atmosphere, very queer-inclusive!

I took this class in fall of 2024. Reading & annotating was easy but writing essays is harder but talking to her & tutors at the school will help. She focuses on polyamory, love, relationships, & cultural conditioning. You have to buy one book but second you can find for free. Late work & extra credit is allowed & the final is easy.

Prof Piazza gets us thinking about real stuff that actually matters. I was first nervous ‘cause we talk about sexuality, but it is interesting & relatable. I respect that she brings in tough topics, even w people being closed-minded these days. If you're not cool with learning about equality and different perspectives, maybe don't take her class.
