Stang is one of my favorite BIO professors so far! She is very helpful and is willing to explain anything to you, her lectures are pretty detailed (although a bit fast!), and she actually acknowledges you as an individual and not just "another student."

Dr. Stang loves what she does. Lab is pretty clear cut. Know the study guides, go to open labs, because lab is only once a week, and its a lot to memorize. Just her teaching is not going to get you by, but that is for all lab courses! Her tests are always fair, she is always there, and I always left stuff in her lab. She would always laugh and help

She seed lectures, so it was nearly impossible to take notes in class. Her tests aren't too difficult if you understand what's going on in her power points, and answer the questions in the study guide. Do NOT slack off though, the material gets more difficult towards the end and requires more studying than you might think based on the first exams.

Dr. Stang has been my favorite professor thus far in college. If you have the opportunity to take her class, DO IT! She tells you exactly what you need to know to do well on all the exams and truly wants her students to succeed. She will do whatever she can to help you and if you work hard, you will do well in her class.

She is my favorite professor by far. Favorite teacher I have ever had. I have aced all the anatomy lab exams so far 4/4. If you want to learn, get her. Attend open labs, most students make the mistake and think they can just learn from the PowerPoints. Wrong. Open labs.

Professor Stang was easily one of my favorite professors this year. She was very clear about what was easy and what was hard. She never had a problem going over material again if you needed to do so. Open labs made it really easy to go over the material and really get a hang of it as well.

She is an amazing professor and you can tell she cares about her students. She gives plenty of time to learn the material and goes over it until you can do it in your sleep. There is only one paper in the 202L course and its not graded harshly. She saved my year!

As anyone who goes to GCU you know that BIO 201 & 202 is a bit challenging, and can make or break you. Well Stang make 202L a breeze! She gave amazing lectures, and supplied all of the information you needed and more! To pass this class, all you have to do is go to class and pay attention, you will be totally fine!

Hands down BEST professor I have ever had! She is so funny and makes the class so interesting. When she taught us the bones and muscles, she checked around for understanding when she introduced new ones. She really cares about her students. She gives a pre-test the week before the exam as examples of what the questions would be like. Very helpful!

Stang was an overall AWESOME teacher. I wasnt very focused when I took her class the first time so I ended up taking her again and she was very helpful even the scond time around. She always provides open labs, even over summer, and is just an all around great teacher. I wish I could have her for every lab at GCU!

I had Ms. Stang for BIO 202 Lab and she was incredible. Attendance is not mandatory but I highly recommend going but she is very lecture heavy so she does go over ALOT in class. She is very thorough when going through the cadaver and with lectures. If you ask her a question she is also extremely helpful to help you understand the material!

Amazing Bio teacher.. I had her for Bio 201L and 202L! She has been my favorite teacher here at GCU!! She is extremely knowledgeable.

Dr. Stang is the best teacher I've had in my first Fall of GCU. She goes through the material very throughout and easy to follow up. She repeats the important things we need to know for the exam through many pictures & charts to make sure we get the most basic down. She is also a caring and considerate person. LOVE her patho class! She is one of the most caring and sweetest professors I've had. She really breaks it down to make everything understandable. Stay on top of powerpoints, review EVERY week, and take your assignments seriously(they're basically the test).There are 2 tests that total to 60% of your grade, so STUDY HARD! Take her class!!!

She made having a 7 AM on MWF bearable, for she was always so happy early in the morning. She knows the content very well and explains things to you effectively. I took Mrs. Stang for both BIO201 and Bio202. She is an amazing professor and really cares for her students. Whenever I needed help I could just drop by her office and she would help me with anything I needed. I am not usually one to go to the professors during office hours, but she was very kind and never made me feel lesser than for needing help.

Stang made Patho a blast and easier to understand! I retook patho after dropping it the first time I took it and she made all the difference in me understanding the material. Her lectures are heavy but if you take notes and put in the work before exams, you should be able to get an A no problem! 10/10 recommend her you wont regret it!

I really enjoyed her class, I did have to drop the class though just due to not getting the grade I wanted. But overall I think if the class was more in person then I would have received a better grade and a little more understanding of the topics. She does however care about her students and does a great job teaching anatomy. Do the review guides, attend her review sessions and ask questions and you will do great on exams!

Professor Stand is a respected instructor who has been my favourite teacher in my degree thus far. Her lectures are easy to follow and she gives review guides that you can fill out as she talks. Simply use these guides to study for the exam and you should do well! The material is challenging so prepare to put in the work to study to get a A or B.

Professor Stang was amazing, her teaching method made everything easy to understand and she gave lots of study tips, which were very helpful since the exams are in case-study format. I was never bored in lectures and I always left feeling like I understood everything she had taught. This has been one of my favorite classes yet :)

The curriculum in this class is extremely difficult, but Professor Stang knows how to lecture to the best of her ability and get the information across. TAKE DR. STANG! She is so nice, very easy to approach, and cares a lot about her student's success. This course is very dependent on your studying but she gives you a lot of extra studying material. If you attend lectures, study, and ask questions when needed then I think this is a class you will enjoy, it is also pretty interesting.

There is lots of studying required, but she (and her TA's who were also awesome) have lots of office hours which are super helpful, and make the concepts a lot easier to grasp. The tests are difficult, but she has very clear guidelines about what to expect and I always feel very prepared. If you can, take Dr. Stang!!!!

She is an amazing professor and is extremely thorough in her explanations. She makes learning very interactive, and although this class is a very hard one in general, she gives us tons of tips and resources are available everywhere. She makes this class easier, fun, interactive, and makes me aspire to be like her.

PLEASE TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! She is amazing and very caring. Her teaching style actually allows you to learn while making it interesting. She makes it known that she is here for you and she also gives you resources. Patho is hard but professor Stang helps out to make it easier on you and she also does exam reviews which are so helpful!

Dr. Stang is the nicest and most knowledgeable professor I've had. Her lectures are incredibly thorough and she makes it very clear when she is accessible outside of class. The content is hard, but if you pay attention during lecture, you will be ready for the tests. If you can take her, even if it's a 7am, take her.

awesome professor. she does long lectures but makes sure you understand and is accessible is need help. She truly cares for her students and SHOWING UP TO CLASS MATTERS. she will take off points for participation if you aren't there. The review guides are like study guides for every exam.

This is my second class with Dr. Stang and I would recommend her to anyone. She cares about her students and despite a pretty difficult class, her lectures were always great and I always felt prepared after. If possible please take her! She is by far one of my favorite professors.

Stang was the best professor! Stang truly cares about her students and her office hours are very nice if you need any extra help! Her tests are pretty easy too! While, her lectures are very crucial to go and her review guides are so important to spend time on... because if you understand the review guide you with do just fine on the test;)

Dr. Stang is one of the best professors I have ever had! She is very knowledgeable and is able to answer any questions I have. She is very caring and understanding and whenever you message her, she gets back to you within 24 hours. You do have to do review guides every week though. Best professor, definitely taking again for BIO-202 and BIO-322.

Great professor and extremely helpful. It's honestly just a difficult class so go to her office hours for help or even if you don't need help. The only grades you have though are participation and 4 exams so be sure to do good. Overall, study for it and listed to her in class then you'll be good.

Stang remains one of the best professors at GCU and is just a super genuine human. BIO-322 is a really hard course, but she made it as easy as she could and provided us with so many extra resources. You have to study hard if you want an A in this class, but she's the best professor to teach it.

Dr. Stang is a great woman. This course is already difficult to begin with, but she makes it easier to understand. She teaches her lectures in a way that is easy to follow. She is passionate about what she teaches and she inspires me to do well and excel in nursing.

Professor Stang explained things very well and allowed difficult content to be explained in a familiar and simplistic way. She was very willing to help as well, and her office hour sessions were super helpful. I 100% recommend her if you have the chance.

Professor Stang is by far the best BIO201 and BIO202 professor. Her lectures are difficult, but she is easy to talk to after or before class. I highly recommend using her office hours if you need a more detailed explanation. I also had her for BIO322, I couldn't have asked for a better professor for this class. If you can, switch to her class!

Her lectures are entertaining and easy to follow. There is a lot of homework but it's all helpful in learning the material as long as you're actively enganged while doing it. Take advantage of the reviews!

TAKE HER CLASS! Dr. Stang is an amazing teacher. Her Zoom exam reviews are really helpful, and she genuinely cares about her students. I arrived late until the end due to personal issues, but she was understanding and flexible as long as I performed well and came in time for exams. The homework load is manageable, and her teaching pace is great!

So this woman is an absolute angel. Her exams are worth 80% of your grade, but they are NOT easy. From someone who took micro and A/P2 and both labs all in the same semester, I got straight A's in those. I feel like I'm taking the NCLEX on patho exams. You can get an A, but the question is... will you. Take Prof. Darrien Hall, she's also amazing!!

Best professor I've had here at GCU. This class is very exam heavy, but as long as you pay attention in class, you'll be fine. She makes it so fun to learn and I stay engaged throughout the whole class, love her teaching style and she is SO willing to help and see you succeed. Def take her if you can!

I absolutely love Dr. Stang. Mind you, my grade is completely my fault but that's besides the point. She did an amazing job at explaining everything so clearly, and giving us so many resources to succeed. She always takes volunteers when asking question and she's just overall super caring and sweet. Professor Stang is amazing. She explains the material so well and really helps you learn. Her exams are tough but very doable if you study. Her teaching style is great and helps outside of class. The majority of your grade is based on exams so don't take them for granted. Really understand the material going into exams and work hard in the class.

LOVE!!! I have had Professor Stang for BIO-201, 202, and now 322. She explains the material in a manner that's very easy to understand and will always teach you exactly what is expected. It is obvious she wants the best for her students and is very educated on all the topics. Amazing teacher, do not hesitate to take her!!!

Stang was a great professor overall, Good about explaining things a way you can understand, what really helped me: she posted lecture videos of her reviewing content, I could easily watch them at my own pace. It made studying way easier. However she makes you turn in study guides almost every class for participation which can get to be a lot.

I loved having this Professor for Bio201, and I will be taking her Bio202 class in the spring. I enjoyed her classes; she made the concepts clear and easy to understand. She also posted content videos, which helped greatly when studying for her exams. She is also very easy to talk to if you have any questions.

I will admit I slacked off a bit and that's how my grade ended up a C+, but she is a really good professor and gives you lots of resources and so long as you use them and study for the exams, you can do a lot better than I did on the exams. She is also super caring and wants you to succeed.

Mrs.Stang is genuinely so amazing! She is a great teacher, and she clearly knows the material well. She can break down topics into easy-to-understand pieces and gives lots of support to her classes through Kahoots, review sessions, putting her presentations in Halo, and short videos re-covering hard topics. Also, she's very understanding and kind.

loved Doctor Stang; she was super caring and available to students. I will say that her exams had me tweaking. They are worth around 200 points each, which adds up to be 80% of your grade. I've heard that Dr. Jackson and Hall have easier exams if that's what you'd wanna go for. But Dr. Stang is still an amazing professor. Super grateful for her!

Professor Stang is all you could ever hope to have as an anatomy professor. She was extremely organized and had well thought out lectures. Before every lecture a review guide is turned in as participation for that class that day. She creates review videos prior to exams and you always do a review day the class before your exam. TAKE HER CLASS!!

Professor Stand is so sweet and so knowledgable! I did not use the textbook at all and got an A just reviewing and studying off the slides and practice questions! Would absolutely recommend her :)
