I do not recommend her at all. She rushes through everything and piles on too much work at one time.

Well I dont recommend taking her class, unless your major is mathematics. She have 5 test plus the final. she added time to the class, she dont care if you can make it or no. Always talking about her personal life, and comparing us with her high school kid. She have a heavy accent. she dont care about student, 5 student dropped her class.

I RECOMMEND YOU AVOID TAKING A COURSE WITH HER! She doesn't care about her students, she only teaches for the paycheck. Her world revolves around money. Her accent is HEAVY. I failed the course and registered for the class the following semester. Half of the class signed up for it a second time. PLEASE do NOT jeopardize it. If you can, AVOID HER!

Mrs. Wang is TERRIBLE! She teaches fast and her accent makes it practically impossible to understand. She encouraged students to come see her in the office if we needed to but when you get there she brushes you off. If you can take a math course with another, DO IT. She's rude and probably cares less if you fail. All she wants is the paycheck. NO!

She is such a bad math instructor. If you are a braniac, go for it. If you need an instructor who will actually TEACH you and not talk at you then def avoid her. She does not seem to care about her students and if they are learning anything. She flies through all concepts like a speeding bullet. I did not enjoy or learn anything. I do not recommend

I don't recommend this professor for any math courses. She is test heavy and not compassionate with students and trying to help them learn the material. She does not help in office hours. She rush through all topics in class. Also, her language barrier doesn't help.

This professor was the worst professor I had during my college experience so far. She isnt practical and it seems as though she expects students to already know the things she is teaching. So many students say bad things about her and the school really needs to evaluate her. She isnt a good professor, especially for a math course.

Where do I start! If you can avoid this professor, DO IT. Its a very hard subject and she does NOT teach well, bad combination. To make matters worse, she doesnt like questions and brags A LOT about herself and her success. She is the worse professor I have ever had my whole college experience. I hope I spare other students the headache.

Honestly if you are not a math whiz, dont bother taking intermediate algebra with Prof. Wang. Her lectures were hard to follow, difficult, and she was not very understanding. I failed with under a 50% in the class.

Don't take this professor if you care about your GPA. For most online math classes you typically get either non-proctored exams or open note/ open textbook exams. Not this one, Two proctored exams worth 50% of grade and this professor does not let you use any notes or formula sheets on exams. And there's so much work you wont have time to study.

Don't do it. There is no lecture material or ppt to help with the reading material. There's a discussion board and we have to list problems we had with HW and other students answer, so we are basically teaching ourselves. Added algebra HW and quiz when she saw what questions were being asked. SO MUCH WORK, NO TEACHING. Calculus is hard enough.

Worst professor I have ever had here at EFSC. Never responds to your emails and doesn't even care about you passing her class. There are two exams that are proctored with just a calculator. So if you do bad at one you will be struggling. I have never had a teacher tell me to read the textbook when I ask for help!

math has always been one of my worst subjects, so I've always needed a really helpful math teacher. professor wang was not helpful. if you did not know what you were doing, she would say that math is logic and that you should know how to do it. it is incredibly fast paced. do not recommend this professor if you are not super super good at math.

If you can't learn at a fast pace DO NOT TAKE HER. She was super fast and when I had questions she would never answer them clearly. She would skip many important steps to solving problems. Would never explain clearly what she was doing either. I used to love math and this class made me hate it. I had to got to tutoring after every class.

Test are 60% and homeworks are 10%, each test almost every week and somtimes she will teach like 2 sections of a chapter in less then 30 minutes, two weeks before the final we still had to do over 7 sections of homework, 2 test, like 3 quizes and the review of the final exam.She will teach a chapter tuesday and then test it on thursday same week.

IF you can not keep up with her talking fast and barely explaining, do not take. She will test every other week after not explaining how to solve anything. She just goes through the problem assumes everyone understands and keep going. She doesn't really have any way to bring up your grade either.

Gives way too much work in such little time throughout the week and the tests and practice tests are very hard to finish in the time she has given. Tried reaching out for help and she said half the class was passing and I should figure it out and study. Doesn't teach and gives old videos that are very hard to follow. Do not take her!

. i took her topics in math class this summer. everyone told me she was a terrible teacher but she was my only option sadly. i finish this class with a 79.7 & and i kindly ask her if she could round up my letter grade to a B since im only .03 away from it. she says sorry i cannot. I don't think she's a bad person much less a dumb teacher but her teaching method is very specific. If you're slow to learn or need help DO NOT take her she will destroy you, even with tutoring. A packet is the lesson guide and she does not like to slow down or stop for questions. Be warned.

Assignments were due on Thursdays. Now Tuesdays. Hours of videos, followed by 3 or 4 assignments that cover the gamut of all of the videos. Pointless discussion posts. Info dumps and tests how well you understood. I work full time and have other classes. No way to keep up with these due dates. I havent learned anything. Awful. Im screwed on exams.

This was the worst class ive ever taken.

There are five tests worth 65% of your grade. You have no time for you to digestion the amount of information she is dumping on you. She goes through 1-3 lessons each class. If you have questions, you're on your own. She refuses to elaborate, and get an attitude if you do not understand immediately. If you are a slow learner, do not take her class.

This was the worst class I have ever taken at EFSC. She changes the due dates up randomly. There is a lot of homework every week. Midterm and Finals are the worst. She gives 2-4 mandatory practice assignments and then a 80-90 question quiz that you will fail and have to retake over and over again. I have been doing 4-6 hours of hw a day

Please, I do not care if you are three weeks late to picking classes and she is your only option, do not take her class. I am an A student, with a 4.0, and this is the class that I am losing that to. NOT because it is hard, but because you have 7 hours of homework due every few days.

The first description was too long so here's the shortened version: 4 to 5 units covered & 4-5 HW assignments assigned at once. very rude, and talked down to the class after our tests. she talks about her time in California and her son in a condescending way. She has held lectures past the time limit causing me to be late to other classes.DONOTTAKE

Horrible teacher had 20 questions on the final with 3 of them not even in the questions that she said would be on the final, very fast pace and if you fall beheind its your fault. Had over 9 assignments due in one day with a test on that very same day. DO NOT TAKE HER.

If you do not show up, you will not pass. I missed 10 minutes of class ONCE, and she dropped by grade 5%. Once asked a question about how she got an answer, she pointed to the paper and said "Its right there". If you ever have any questions do not taker her. It's a teach yourself class, lectures and pointless except for the notes she hands out.

Worst professor ever. I imagine her Asian parents were super hard on her growing up, now she's out to make as many lives as hard as possible. Taking this class makes me want to give up on my whole college career. The sheer amount of requirements (while having other classes, work, and children) are essentially insurmountable.

If you don't understand the material well, don't take her class. If you have a full time job or multiple part time jobs, don't take this class. If you are neurodivergent or have learning disabilities like me, don't take her class. The homework grades won't save you from the bad grades on your tests and exams, the discussion grades don't help either

If you are looking for a professor that actually teaches you and preps you for the tests your going to take do NOT take her. She doesnt care for her students, doesnt respond to emails, and puts you on honor lock that doesn't even work, I had to do the support every time i took an exam. Please take any other professor if you care about your grades.

I would literally never take this professor again if you paid me. I wrote an entire essay about this class then realized I can only write 350 words. But please, if you could do anything for yourself, don't do it. She literally has nothing better to do with her life than destroy our gpa and not even care about our concerns.

I had to withdraw from this class as soon as I read her syllabus. It clearly states in her policies "grade drops below 70 ends in a withdrawl from the course". Aside from that, she made it very clear she doesn't care about your busy schedule and that life happens. DO NOT PICK THIS PROFESSOR UNLESS YOU WANT TO FAIL!

This professor will drag you GPA down. She teaches expecting you to already know everything. She tells stories that take up class time that then causes us to rush, cramming info we don't know into our brains. Then assigns over 8 assignments a week. Overall not the best professor and 10/10 would NOT recommend taking.

Do not take this class the tests are near impossible to do and the rules for taking proctored exams are extremely strict including a dress code and having to use multiple cameras to record yourself, none of which can be a phone to record so you will have to go buy a camera if you don't have one. She thinks her class is all that matters.

This professor will drag you down mentally and your grades down physically. She puts in no actual effort to help her students and has an accent that is very difficult to understand. If this is your future professor RUN while you still can.

She was my sub halfway through the year and she just moves to fast as someone who is terrible at math. She doesn't really answer questions correctly. I failed the course by half a point and she wouldn't curve it because of optional 5 points of extra credit given for the first 2 test.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! She talks way too fast, can't understand a word she says, gets annoyed when asked to slow down, and her handwriting is atrocious!! She took over my class mid semester and completely changed the way we learned, saying our other teachers method of teaching was stupid, but expected us to know hers? Save yourself and do not take her.

DO NOT TAKE HER SHES HORRIBLE. Just a terrible class, it was alr at first but damn a tough grader even on unnecessary stuff like chill out cus last time I checked I'm teaching myself and u just give me a grade on it.
