I guess most people here have probably not taken many literature classes at 4-years. If you use that rubric, she is really not a great teacher. Enthusiastic, perhaps overly so, with a massive propensity to ramble and little informative ability. If you love to hear yourself talk and hate to be corrected, this is the class for you.

Seriously, she was very difficult. Everyone on here said 'Take her, she's so interesting and you learn a lot.' Sure, I did learn stuff, and it wasn't too boring, but lets face it I WANTED AN 'A'. That was why I took the class in the first place. Out of 36 students in the class, only TWO got A's and I got a 'B'. Take regular English, TRUST ME!

This is NOT an easy class. She's an amazing teacher, but one thing that bothered me was that she claims "there are no wrong interpretations" but she actually wants specific interpretations of the literature. She is really cool and not pretentious. There's a lot of reading, but what do you expect from an English class? There are also group projects.
