I dropped the class and took it with someone else during the summer.I think she felt as though she was teaching Harvard kids, because that's how she ran the class. Her tests were impossible, and she didn't want any interaction with students. She is definately a character. You must go to class every day in order to succeed. I found that her tutors are truly VERY helpful. Listen to the advise she gives you, what she says is what you'll get. On tests, be sure to prepare essays in advance and make the "super charts" and "key word outlines"

Repeats stuff over and over like a broken record, skips over some important details, spends too much time on one section and so has to skip other sections. The grades are solely on tests. Two of the tests are about 80 percent true/false and 20 percent matching and the other tests are 75 percent true/false and the other half is an essay.

Your grade is based off of 4 exams and that's it. As long as you memorize your notes and study the definitions you'll write about during the essay portion of the exams, you should pass pretty easily.

The workload is not difficult. The lectures are pretty interesting and very helpful for the exams. If you are someone who is more laid back on doing their work, and does it last minute, you can survive this class and most likely pass with an A still!

I've had straight As including eng 1a and stats and philosophy, but his 7 broke that record. You are only graded by 4 tests and 3 discussion posts. Even google is wrong. Respectfully, it seems as though her teaching style and grading system has not caught up with modern times. NO EXTRA CREDIT. She is extremely picky on the essay part of the exam.

Overall enjoyed this class , the professor was straight forward and gave clear lectures. No homework , only test , 4 test from my memory and 2 writing papers but 1/2 page long . Not too bad . Overall enjoyed this class and learning about American history . This class HIS7 focuses on the western civilization

She grades her classes based on four tests, and they're not hard at all--received over 90 on each test. She's really sweet and her classes are really good.

Take this class, although you are only graded on exams and have no homework, but as long as you listen to the lectures you will be fine. Easy work and this class should feel like a breeze!

Decent teacher overall, tests are relatively easy except for essay questions in which the criteria might be a little big confusing. Does become a small issue since tests are worth so much. Generally lectures are a bit boring but are easy to understand and comprehend.
