This is probably one of the funniest teachers alive. Very witty but very funny. Easy grader. All tests are based on the notes he gives. Take this teacher I would Highly recommend him!
Terrific personality. Caring individual. FUNNY and entertaining. You can tell he loves his job and he should because he is great at it! Take his class.
Economics is difficult and boring...he makes it interesting...one of the few classes I looked forward to!
He is an awesome teacher. His tests/quizzes are directly out of the notes, so just take the notes and you will do well. One of the few classes I actually enjoyed going to. He is a funny man and makes Economics simple to understand.
This man resurrected Economics from the ruins of Orescovich. He has an intriguing sense of humor, which makes it a lot less boring. Class is divided between stand-up comedy and very detailed notes. I actually feel like I know economics after this.
Antoinetti is the best eco professor that QU has. he's very funny, VERY INTELLIGENT, and an outstanding professor. ALWAYS willing to provide extra help for his students and provides practice problems for those who ask. Test/quizs very easy. writes everything on the board so just copy notes and ur set! im so glad i had him & i strongly reccomend him
Most difficult college professor ever. Test and quizzes are impossible. Dont even bother going to class, its not even worth it. I got an F in his class. MOST DIFFICULT CLASS at QU and UConn.
i took this class cause i saw he got good reviews and I'VE COMPLETELY REGRETTED IT. Ridiculous tests, weird sense of humor and he doesnt care about anything but making you write out a million definitions on the tests and quizzes. extremely hard, DONT TAKE THIS CLASS

Very nice guy, and a good teacher for an 8am class twice a week. If you respond to his questions, and don't just sit there and stare at him, the classes will go by faster and they'll be easier. 2 quizzes and 2 tests, which are directly from the notes you take, an easy paper and a final. I really recommend him. Take him if you get the chance.
Not a bad guy. He's ok at teaching, but nothing spectacular. Class took more work than I expected, wants you to think abstractly sometimes. Take someone else and save your energy.

Easiest teacher. He is hilarious everybody loves him. Hes so nice and his tests and quizzes are very easy and based on notes. He helps you whenever you need it, sends you practice problems. My favorite teacher. An easy A. TAKE HIM!!!
Amazing prof! his tests and quizzes come DIRECTLY from the notes. its really straight forward and as long as you take notes during class and study them you will ace the class....really not hard at all
I took him for EC111 and EC112, he's fantastic. If you pay attention in class and take notes it will be easy to get a good grade, you basically have to just re-write the notes on the quizzes. He's really easy to understand, He will call u out in class though. U never have hw or have to read the book.Just be careful for the final exam from the dept.
the greatest teacher ever, you are an idiot if you dont take him. tests and quizzes are just like the notes and he is hilarious
Tests and Quizzes are verbatim from the examples and definitions from class...Memorize how to do everything and you'll get an A+ in his class easy.
I took him for EC 111 and 112. He is a great teacher! He is passionate about what he teaches adn he is smart, which ,makes him a great teacher. He wants you to understand econ, he doesnt care about grades. But his tests and quizzes are easy and come straght from his notes. He's awesome! Highly reccomend. One of the BEST teachers i have EVER taken!!
i absolutely dread econmoics and had dropped it my freshman year and pretty much gave up ALL hope on doing well on it till my friend recommended i take him. Took him for EC111 and liked him so much i took him for EC112 as well. So clear on the material and basically tells you whats on quizzes and tests. Take him!
I have taken him for EC111, EC112, and QU201. I would highly recommend taking him for any class that you possibly can. Probably the best professor I have ever had at QU.
He really made me understand economics. However, he did not teach from the text book so when finals came around, his sections were screwed. Great professor but the final is worth 25% of your grade .... and he didn't teach anything on it .... choose wisely.
Good teacher all throughout the year but he teaches on his own and not with the text book. The final came out of the text book and was completely different than anything we've learned all year. He is a good teacher but just doesn't teach the material you need to know at the end of the year. Be careful before taking him.
Amazing teacher as long as you pay attention in class you will do amazing. His tests and quizzes are directly form the notes. Just know the graphs and definitions. But do not buy the textbook you never touch it. He doesn't take attendance but if he calls on you for an answer and your not there he will mark you absent.
Great teacher. He's funny and entertaining. Notes are straight forward and tests are easy if you know the notes. Always willing to help if you don't get something. Doesn't care if you show up. Don't use the text. Final is HARD but I would definitely take him again.
He would do well at a large school in a lecture-style class, but not here at Quinnipiac. He talks AT you all class and just writes on the board - no classroom involvement, whatsoever. His quizzes and tests are directly from his notes, and require memorization. The final does not even touch on what he teaches you.
His tests are directly from his notes, so you need to be good at memorizing. No homeworks, class isn't mandatory, and he makes his lessons very clear.
Quizzes are straight from his notes, but the final only touches on some material he teaches throughout the semester. great guy, hilarious, and always available for help. I highly recommend him, but be prepared to study for hours when its time for the final
The only thing good about him is that he can be funny. He is not a good professor, you will learn nothing. He is a horrible grader. DO NOT TAKE HIM. TAKE ANYONE ELSE. I was recommended him because I heard his class was enjoyable but I learned NOTHING and his class killed my GPA.
He is a really nice professor. If you study directly from his notes and go to class you will do well. There are 2 tests and 2 quizzes. There is also a final at the end of the semester that you aren't prepared for. He is always available for help and is very funny.
Funny don't buy book attend class
Antoinetti was my all time favorite teacher at qu so far. His lectures are very clear and he writes down notes on the board. His tests are almost identical to his notes and even though he makes the tests really easy, I actually learned a lot about economics and might be changing my major to econ because of him. I highly recommend!
One of the best teachers I have had at Quinnipiac. Extremely straight forward and all of his tests and even final are based on his notes. He is really helpful and always makes sure students understand the material. I would definitely take him again. He makes it easy to listen in class and doesn't always take attendance but its best not to skip!
Awesome guy. If you literally just take notes and study even a little bit, you'll do really well. First quiz is tough for some because kids don't know what to expect but the all the tests and quizzes are exact replicas of the notes that he writes during lectures. Copy everything he has on the board and you'll pass with ease.
Great teacher who involves the students a lot. He's there if you need help. No need to buy the textbook as the notes he goes over are the ones he teaches in class. Highly would recommend if this is involved with your major or if you want to take an interesting class.
He's an excellent teacher who knows what he's doing. I would take him again in a heart beat!
The tests and quizzes are literally based off of in class notes. As long as you can memorize the notes in class from top to bottom, you're all set. Hilarious teacher, loves to make fun of students (In a fun way) and is a great class to take to learn more about macroeconomics.
If you have the option to not take him for Macroeconomics, do it. If you are forced to take his class be prepared to memorize your notebook. The lectures are long, and you sit there and copy what he puts on the board. Then, you'll get quizzes and tests asking you to recreate word for word what he put on the board. They are not application questions
Great professor. Really nice, funny guy. His tests are information heavy, but very fair. No homework. No textbook. His lectures cover everything you need to know perfectly. Back on the tests topic, the test format is memorization of class notes. Memorize formulas, definitions, and concepts: all of them. Usually 5-7 questions, even the final. Easy
Professor Antoinetti is a great guy. Macro is boring in general but he makes it interesting and he is honestly hilarious. No textbook required. As long as you take good notes and study them you will do fine on the tests. I would take him again if I could.
Best professor I've had at QU. He is hilarious and makes the class go by fast. Book not required. You do need to pay attention and write everything down. Tests are open ended questions, just memorize all your notes. I wish I could take him again.
Professor Antoinetti is the best. He makes his lectures so funny and interesting. He provides outstanding metaphors so students can easily grasp what he is saying because a lot of the time the material can be hard to follow. Honestly if you just show up and be attentive and take the notes and you'll do fine.
Really funny guy. Makes the material easy to comprehend. Quizezs and Exams are extremely easy as long as you study. A lot of material is covered which can make it a bit overwhelming but his exams/quizzes are very straightforward and similar to his lectures and practice questions. Would recommend.
Two tests, two quizzes and a final. Quizzes are worth 10%, Tests are worth 20%, Final worth 25%, attendance is 5% and UC breadth assignment is worth 10% of your grade. You honestly don't have to show up for this class as long as you somehow get the class notes. All assessments are literally word for word of what the notes were.
Prof Antoinetti is the best! He is so funny and makes Micro easy to understand. Take good notes and you should be fine for the tests and quizzes. There are only a few of those. Tests are fair, but make sure you study. You never get homework. Take him!
This guy is the boy. Classes consist of taking notes which are always very clear and explained well. He is interesting and funny. Quizzes and tests mirror material covered in class and it becomes very easy to predict quiz questions. Do not have to show up to class, can always get notes from someone else. No textbook, no homework, easy to do well.
A few tests and quizzes throughout the semester with a short writing assignment make up your grade. Tests and quizzes consist of repeating what is in the notes word for word. Gives practice problems for tests and quizzes that hint at what is gonna be on it.
Very few assignments. Must memorize notes from lectures to pass. Hard grader. No homework. Very good lecturer. Nice guy. No feedback, unless you meet one on one (which I recommend).
Professor Antoinetti is HILARIOUS. Easily the best professor I have ever had. I even chose to take an 8am class just to have him. Be ready to take a lot of notes in his class but as long as you do it's an easy A.
One of the best 8ams Ive ever had. You have 0 homework, so youre graded based on 2 quizzes and 3 exams. Antoinetti is SO funny and makes the class enjoyable. His notes and exams are straight forward but it requires A LOT of memorization of small little details. Not an easy A class but impossible to fail.
This is my second time taking Antoinetti because his teaching style is great. All of what he writes on the board should also be your notes. It's clear what is going to be on the exam as long as you copy what he puts on the board. He also never assigns homework! TAKE ANTOINETTI FOR ECONOMICS!
Probably one of my favorite Econ professors in this department. Makes lectures worthwhile with the number of jokes he makes and all the notes he puts on the board is what u need to know for the exams. Explains the topics very well and all the tests are fair. Take him for any econ class
Professor Antoinetti is hilarious and makes lectures interesting. He gives only a few tests and quizzes throughout the entire semester, and no homework or group assignments. I would definitely recommend taking him.
BEST professor I've ever had, If you can take him then do it. He teaches the material clearly, super funny and relaxed, get ready for him to call on your name during lecture but don't worry he ends class 30 minutes early a lot of the time. Use the practice problems to your advantage they are almost identical to the quizzes and test. Best Professor.
2 quizzes and 2 exams with one final exam. Write notes from the class lecture and you will get an A. No homework. No projects. No extra credit available. Professor Antoinetti is a very nice professor who makes jokes all the time.
Take notes and you will get an easy A. only a few tests and quizzes but they are directly off notes. Puts up practice problems that are almost identical to quiz or test. Great person, funny, and easy class to pay attention to. Took him online and everything was open notes and very easy. Says you need textbook but you do not at all, Never opened it.
Professor Antoinetti is an okay professor. The class was pretty boring and since it was completely online it was not very interactive. He just lectured and there were 4 quizzes and 3 exams the whole semester.
Prof Antoinetti wants to make sure you understand econ. He's passionate about it and will work to make you passionate about it too. Just take notes and ASK QUESTIONS!! and you will do great.
Really, really good teacher. No homework or classwork. Does so many examples and makes sure everyone understands. If you take down notes, exams will be really easy. I'd take him again if I could!
Potentially one of my favorite professors! Very passionate and knowledgeable about what he teaches, tests are verbatim what he writes on the board so make sure your notes are identical to his. Have a few buddies in class so you can get notes if you miss class! Only graded on tests and 1 easy essay, tests arent very difficult just know your notes.
Professor Antoinetti is a great professor and teaches the materials affectively and keeps it relevant by relating everything to real life situations. No classwork or homework, just study for the exams and you will do well!
All the quizzes and exams are open note, which makes them way easier. If you do not take notes or at least have the book with you, it will be a very hard class.
Not a good professor, lectures the entire class, and gets mad when you don't understand the material. Test and quizzes are hard, don't take him if you want to pass this course.
Professor Antoinetti is a very passionate teacher and clearly loves economics. His class is entirely lecture but he keeps it relatively interesting and does a great job of explaining things. There's no homework or classwork so the exams are important, but the correct answers are exactly what he writes on the board.
Class is all lectures and tests. You HAVE to attend class to get notes for class. If you participate, you'll be fine.
He is very passionate about Econ but doesn't present it in the best ways. Class is all lecture, gets mad when you ask what is going to be on the exams, and doesn't respond to emails. Don't miss class because that's the only way you will know what's going on. Exams are closed note, reviews are unclear and unhelpful. Great guy, not a great prof.
All grades come from quizzes and tests. Pay attention in lectures, and it will be a breeze. He offers a lot of outside help as well. He cracks jokes now and then but never takes them personally. While his teaching style is very concrete and simply just writing on a board, it works perfectly for microeconomics. I am taking him again for macro.
Course consisted of 2 quizzes worth 10% each and 2 tests worth 20% each and then a short breadth reflection which was 10% and the final. Copy down exactly what he writes on the board because he uses the same exact types of problems on tests and quizzes. Do not need textbook. No homework so use that time to study and it should be an easy A.
Prof. Antoinetti's class was low-stress and light on work; not at all overwhelming during the semester. His lectures teach material in ways that are reflective of exams. There is no homework, so all grades come from tests and quizzes. Super important to study for these because small mistakes end up affecting final grades (each between 10-20%).
I loved his class. He seemed a bit scary at first, but he is a very caring man and wants us all to do well in his class. If you ask him for help, he will gladly explain everything and make sure that you understand. Make sure you write down everything that he writes on the board because it will all be on the tests.
Very bad professor, did not like him. extremely rude and out of pocket. crossed the line completely.
The class was pretty straightforward, your grade consists of 2 quizzes, 2 exams, a reflection and the final. If you pay attention in class and take notes and study for the exams and quizzes you will be fine. He is very available to students and always willing to help. The quizzes and exams mirror the notes, nothing was ever unexpected.
Not a bad professor I just did not do well due to poor effort on my part, tests can be difficult. if you plan on taking him just use the time you would spend on homework (there is none) and go to his office hours and you should be in a good spot to get an A-B. and go to class because everything is based on what he puts on the board.
His lectures are either incredibly boring or highly entertaining. He gives no homework and says to read the textbook if you want to. If you have common sense and study a little bit, you will do fine.
As long as you actually understand the material and go to him for office hours if you need help there is nothing bad to say about the class. Classes sometimes go on to the very last minute with long lectures and other time he let us go early. Invest in a notebook though since he makes very clear on the first day he doesn't like technology.
Loved this professor, he doesn't like to use technology and I didn't need to use the textbook since his notes always made sense. His grades are easy and he is willing to talk to you after class or during his office hours. He responds better to texts than his emails.
Took him in the fall for microeconomics and loved it so much I took him again for macroeconomics in the spring! If you pay attention in class and write/understand the notes there is no way of failing as there is no homework. His lectures tell a story and make you actually understand the material to the point where I know juniors that remember.
He creates such a funny atmosphere to where answering questions became super easy to do and participation was not a problem at all. He teaches at a very easy pace and its very simple to follow his lectures and it makes a harder class a very easy and fun class that doesn't really stress you out too much. He enjoys making jokes with students.
Found him to be disrespectful when asking for help or feedback. Very lecture heavy, does not give study guides for tests or quizzes. All exams and quizzes are written, there is no multiple choice ever. Tough grader but will give half credit. Good teacher if you are okay with straight lecturing and that's it.
Made a hard class simple with his interactive lectures. No homework or classwork. He is super sweet and values participation. Always willing to meet on Zoom or outside of class.
Funny, probably don't taking him online because he does not do as well with discussion as in person. Every quiz and test was open notes and we didn't need to use the book.
One of the best. All classes and notes where recorded. Notes = review for test. PARTICIPATE, it makes the class more fun - ask every "stupid question" and give every "impulse answer". Goes over exams/quizzes the very next lesson. Nice pace. Relates every concept to a real world scenario. 10/10 class. Lovely personality.
Class is straight lecture. Old school professor. Arrogant, poor communication skills with students. Delayed responses and at times disrespectful / rude responses to emails asking for assistance. Would def not recommend taking if you need timely feedback/assistance
Great Prof, heavy on lectures but has a good sense of humor. No homework so as long as you show up to class and pay attention the tests will be easy.
Very unprofessional. He would yell at our class and make fun of students if they got the question wrong, and then he would yell again when no one would raise their hand. Attendance is essential because he does not use the book and you need his exact definitions for the tests. No homework though.
Antoinetti is a great professor. It may seem daunting on day 1, but in comparison to other professors, he's excellent. Graded through tests and quizzes. Have to pay attention in class and take notes to succeed. Class is impossible if you don't go. Participating makes the class more enjoyable. Take him
He's ok. He wants you to learn but if you don't do it his way you're screwed. Goes off on these grand rants quite a bit and is easily frustrated. I wouldn't take him. There are 2 tests 2 quizzes and 1 final so if you're a bad test taker you will fail. Does not use email, but you can call him.
He is a funny and seems to be nice. He was not a great professor. Total of like 6 things in gradebook, and four are tests. No homework. Will cold call and make fun if you get it wrong, or if you dont understand him. Idk how I got a B+ but you will have to study / learn on your own if you dont grasp micro that well.
Stephen is a tough professor. I have a very heavy love-hate relationship with this professor. On one hand, he makes sure everyone understands the material. On the other hand, he's very boring. I would recommend not taking this class at 8:00 am like I did. Almost fell asleep many times in this class. Learned a lot about Microeconomics though!
He cannot write well on a whiteboard, and he is a very strict grader for not teaching as much as other professors
very hard grader, zero homework, if you do not study and practice by yourself you will struggle
You will learn microeconomics.
Antoinetti is great, definitely much easier than other Econ professors my friends. Lots of lecture, he doesn't take attendance but you learn better in the classroom bc he doesn't use the textbook. Pretty funny besides his occasional screaming. Only graded by quizzes, tests, and Breadth Exercise. No homework
Attendance not mandatory but if you don't show up you're probably screwed. If you go to every class and study for 2 hours before the 2 quizzes 2 tests and 1 final you should do very well. A long with the light material it is very lecture based and we write a lot of notes so he is good if you like that stuff but even if you don't its good.
