This prof.will not bore you.He's funny and soo strange, but in a good way.He WILL make you work for your grade, but also works with you to make sure you do not fail.He's all about us students.

I would take classes from him just to learn. He is down to earth and in touch with his students. Just complete the required reading, express your opinions and you're golden. He runs a tight ship so be prepared and you'll learn something.

Is nothing but helpful and eager to see what you have to offer. Speak up and participate in class and you will enjoy every minute of his lectures.

He is a very entertaining and intelligent professor. Just pay attention to his lectures (entire class period tends to be lecture) do the reading required (never hard), and the essay assignments (about 4 or 5). And always have a good dictionary on hand.

He's a very very strange little man, but he's interesting none the less. Dont take his class if you dont like reading. He assigns lots of reading and requires good handwriting when it comes to essays. GET A DICTIONARY!

I am really enjoying this class. It is an 8:40a.m. class and he sure knows how to keeep the class interesting and helps keep me awake. He likes to talk a lot and tell a lot of stories. He also sings a lot. You'll enjoy his class but it'll be difficult.

I had Mr. Badrich for the 2nd summer semester. I've gotta say I really enjoyed his class. Definately not a boring moment. If you like to read and learn a lot of background about what you're assigned to read I highly recommend his class.

I loved Mr. Badrich, he's a cool dude. We always talked after class about the literature or anything I didn't understand. It's not hard work at all, at least to me. I took it during summer so keeping up with the readings was the only real work. I thought the papers were interesting and easy.

This Professor is very knowledgable. I ended up taking him for all of my English and writting classes. He is veryu helpful in class and in his office. He is one of the few teachers that understands that People have lives, Jobs, kids, etc. outside of class and studying.

This professor really cares about his students. He will work with you so you can pass his class. He does tell alot of off the wall stories, but they are interesting. At times, he gets emotional with tears. Just read the assignments, his class is not hard at all. I would take him again.

Best Professor I have ever had for English. The best way that I can think of to describe his personality is Robin Williams in Dead Poet's Society. Be prepared however, this isn't a class you can fall asleep in; he has weekly readings, essays over the readings, and constant use of dictionary.

Mr. Badrich is an awesome teacher! He's friendly and helpful and full of tons of interesting facts. He is also very flexible and looks to quality of work over quantity. This is one of those teachers I believe that, even if I never take another one of his classes, I'll never stop learning from.

Mr. Badrich was my most influential teacher. His teaching of the material dug underneath the surface and made you think critically about the material in a fun and interesting way. He has alomost dqaily quizzes and two or three papers. Very helpful and fun to listen to lectures. "Labor Omnia Vicit"

Badrich does try to engage each student. I liked him but he is OUT there. I was unable to complete his class due to my work schedule so i am unsure how hard he is on grading. As most are in English/Lit he is VERY liberal.

Badrich is by far one of the most interesting, passionate, knowledgable, personable teachers I have ever come into contact with. I absolutely love his class. I wish more teachers were like him. His class isn't necessarily easy, but if you ask him for help when you need it and take some of his advice for your writing, you'll do great. I got an A in that class and it feels good because I earned it.

I took Mr. Badriche's Brit-lit course and was blown away. He is a sincere, funny professor. He is very passionate at what he does and really wants prople to form an opinion. Mr. Badrich is the definition of unique. While he is known to tangent into far off places, he also maintains an order to style. If you pay close attention and do all required reading, he will see to it that you not only pass, but you will also learn quite a bit. I agree with the previous comment. Professor Badrich is eccentric and brilliant. He is the reason I became an English major. Listen to what he has to say. He's experienced many things that most of us haven't. Just ask him. I remember he once said, "I have more degrees than a thermometer." A strange man, indeed.

I don't know about english professors at other schools, but he is the best one I've ever had! Easy to talk to, but you MUST HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR if you want to enjoy his class.

Mr. Badrich doesn't demand a lot from his students. You have to buy the book, show up for class and make an effort to understand the material and put your essays in MLA format. (Do a search for MLA owl. It saved my butt.) His lectures are entertaining and you will leave his class with a greater knowledge about English, politics and history.

I started as a math major, but because of him I changed my major to English. I have graduated from college with an English degree. and I owe it to Dr. Badrich. He brought out the best in me and inspired me to be creative, and to think beyond the obvious. I still carry my dictionary every time I teach in my classroom, and I use it almost every day.

Mr. Badrich seems a bit crazy at first (and from then on), but is really a great teacher. I have taken two classes with him and I enjoyed them both. He makes you really think about the topics and makes the class fun and entertaining. taking his class is no "bummer" as he would put it.

He's difficult to follow at times b/c he flows into whatever is on his mind, which can be utter nonesense, of which he somehow reels in w/the subj. I loved him, as I do the theater. Interesting, entertaining, understanding and goes off topic at times. I have a better understanding of today's world but if I had to say what I learned was how to memorize poems. Overall, it was a fun class.

I can't say enough about Professor Badrich - if you have the opportunity to take him, do so. He's a little "old school" for some, in that participation in his course does not require technology. He's an insightful and kind man with such a great heart. He really, REALLY wants to students learn and grow.

As a second language leaner, 1302 is hard to me, but Dr. Badrich made everything easy to work with. all you need to do is come to class, finish his requirement, turn off phone, and come to class with a heart full of soul.

Took this guy for my World Literature class, and man was it a good time. He went off topic practically every lecture, so other than 2 pretty easy essays you basically had to just show up and pass. Also the nicest and funniest professor I've had at SAC.

Professor Badrich could be a little bit confusing at the beginning, but he is very nice. Expect a LOT of reading, and pop quizzes about your assignments, which is not crazy, you just have to be a college student and actually read and get the materials he ask for ASAP or he won't take you are a serious student (they are cheap). The required textbooks and a dictionary are required to earn a solid grade in any of Dr. Badrich classes. However, I did enrolled in English Composition 1 and 2, and earned As. Next, I enrolled in British Literature 2 and earned B. Last, I enrolled in Bible Literature and earned A.

one thing you should know is it is an easy A as long as you get the books he asked you to get and do simple reading he does a quiz everyday as attendance and he wont give you a bad grade if you miss a few class. Dr. Badrich is a great English professor, he truly cares about each and every one of his students, he takes the time to thoroughly read the essays you turn in (your essays aren't just another assignment to him, but rather a way to know who you are). While Mr. Badrich has good intentions for his students, he comes off judgemental. I appreciate his sense of humor and his need and want to provide education to students who attend community college. He criticizes our generation a ton. In class he goes way off topic and we barely did a lick of writing. Although it was easy, I didn't learn much.
