Took his class as hybrid (online &meet every other week). Loved it! Great discussions. Lots of reading but if u watch his lecture videos and take the essay format tests it's an easy A. He makes the information easy to learn and real life application.

Took his International Management class this summer. I enjoyed it. Fairly straightforward and easy. Just read the chapters, participate in the discussions, and you can make an A.

This course was very interesting and opened my eyes to many things. Dr. Bushardt is a very interesting and well traveled man. He made himself available when necessary. The discussions are very interesting, and the test can be difficult so you must read and study. Do those things, as you should and you will be successful in the course.

Dr. Bushardt is such an understanding professor! I was distraught with my first failing exam grade, but once he realized the test difficulty, he provided a gracious curve. The next exam, I made an A! If you ever feel discouraged with this course, know that the grades will be taken care of as long as you read the material and put forth all effort.:)

Lectures were not only educational and useful, but entertaining as well! Clearly teaching is his passion. Rating "textbook use" for this course is not applicable as we read articles which were incredibly useful.

Although I did not get to meet this professor in person, he was very personable and kind. His lectures helped me to think outside the box. He is there for your morning or night and regardless of the day. I emailed him in a panic one Saturday evening not expecting him to answer, however he contacted me immediately to provide assistance.

Dr. Bushart is a great professor. He is very understanding however expects a lot out of you. This was the first time I took a class with out the professor assigning a textbook. Instead of a textbook he provided research articles to read. I hope I have the opportunity to take another class that he teaches. I would recommend him to any one.

Dr. Bushardt's class was one of the best I experienced in my program. He clearly set out the expectations, was available when needed, and provided great feedback. I appreciate that his class was not over done with busy work and that although the exams were challenging, it was easy to do well if you did the work.

There is no text book for this course. Pay attention to the material in the lectures and read all of the reading assignments. Understanding the material is important to do well on the exams and discussion group assignments. I found the course to be very interesting and enjoyable. The concepts made sense and were understandable.

Great management class for MBA. All articles not textbook. All articles were written or co- authored by Dr. Bushardt

Dr. Bushardt is a charming character who has years of experience in theories and practices used in this class. I would recommend every graduate student who plans to manage people in the workforce to take this course. Yes there are readings but the majority are co-authored by the prof. As any graduate student should you need to become familiar with all the assigned readings and lectures for the tests.

You will be tested over articles that are written by professor Bushardt. There will be mandatory discussion board participation along with two assigned books to read. The test are hard, but if you read the articles ( more than once) you should not have a problem in obtaining a good grade.

Good teacher. Lectures were long but very interesting. Content of class was good. Tests were hard but grades were given a generous curve. I would take Dr. Bushardt again.

Concepts taught in this class are relevant to everyday challenges experienced in most business environments. I was able to apply the lessens to my job. Take good notes when viewing the lectures and you will do well on your exams.

I was intimidated at first by this course because it's done in four weeks. However, I studied, read all of the material and viewed all of the lectures and I felt prepared for the exams. The lectures really simplify the information. Plus the instructor is very good about replying to emails. I would definitely recommend this instructor and course.

Dr. Bushardt, forever being the academic he is, provides a fresh look into topics such as leadership, management, and strategy. There is no textbook. Instead, he provides journal articles (most of what he has authored) and is unbelievably funny in his delivery. Of course, he doesn't realize how funny he is!

Initially, I was quite curious as to how the class will proceed without a designated textbook but it all turnout to be the best practical experience I could ever get in studying 'organizational behavior' to the extent of applying the lessons to my personal life. Easily the best lecturer over an online forum I have encountered. Insightful, deep thinker who challenges the student to consider the fundamental questions. If you are interested in a liberal arts approach to management, studying core texts and primary sources, this is your professor.

Be prepared to think- some of his theories are hilarious, some are point on- he has lots of stories that apply to jobs and management. Entertaining, definitely not boring- some of the subject matter is difficult concepts, but he breaks it down and explains. Be prepared to study- he is no slacker!! As an adult student that reads a lot - a lot... it's been rare for me to actually feel challenged in a course. Dr. Bushardt is the first teacher in many decades that challenged my thinking. With his first lecture I knew this was going to be something different, and it was. This class is truly of his own making.

Lots of reading with this one. All were interesting but one was extremely sexist and hard to get through. Tests were fair and are open note and text. He gives extra credit on each test. Discussion boards are interesting and straight forward.

Reading materials were included in this class (not sure that's typical). Very effective and useful material. I'm really not much of a reader but could easily identify how to apply people management strategies at work and at home as well. Recorded lectures were consistent with assigned articles.

The course does not use a textbook, but it is rich in content from many relevant published works, supplemental presentations, and pre-recorded video lectures. Be prepared to read, understand, and apply a lot of good information. Dr. Bushardt's level of engagement was excellent! A great learning experience that will benefit me throughout my career.

I took this class online fall 2018. I enjoyed every one of his video series and articles in various modules. The course was presented in an exceptional manner; it allows you to think, evaluate choices and select the right course of action as a manager or a supervisor. I took this class online. In my long and varied college career (been doing this on and off for 40 years) he is the best professor I have ever had. No textbook because 90% of the reading is from articles he wrote. With real world experience supported by academia he is by far the best at giving information that works in the real workplace.

He is a great teacher. great sense of humor. down to the earth, humble, covers a lot of different subjects related to management and psychology which at the end all relate to each other. teaches practical techniques one might need in the future in his/her career.

I checked Textbook use, but there's no textbook as he uses articles. You should read them all. I greatly enjoyed this class: Organizational Behavior. All of the ideas and concepts in the class are transferrable to a career working with people. His lectures are great, but there is A LOT of reading. I would take any class that he instructs.

As a professor, Professor Bushardt is amazing & caring. The accelerated MBA course MANA-5320 is EXTREMELY test heavy (2 exams worth 80% of overall grade w/unpredictable questions). You can use notes, but the exams are still very difficult. I had straight A's until this course. Don't bother with the practice exam study guides, not helpful at all.

Dr. Bushardt shows genuine concern for the student learning experience. His discussions/lectures do a good job complementing the reading material while clarifying the "so what?' behind what students are supposed to take away from the modules. Accents the learning with real-life vignettes from his personal experience.
