He's a pretty easy prof.. As long as you come to class and participate it will be hard for you to get a grade below a C. Also very lenient on assignments, meaning if you can't turn it in on time or did it wrong he'll stil accept a late assignment or give you a chance to redo the assignment.

He's okay. Do all your work and you'll be ok. He'll give chances to make up work if you talk to him. good dude!

Professor Frishman is a cool guy and he gets along well with the class. He is definitely well liked- he has a comedic personality and he isn't a hardass. The class is easy, he gives out a study guide for the test. The tests are more application questions than objective, but still an easy, fun class.

Great guy, has the tendency to wear the same outfit over and over, but after that, he will bring out your best when trying to do a speech, overall a great professor - Visual aids are kind of a big deal with him, so make sure to use PowerPoint, but follow the guidelines!!! Respectful to students and always helpful!!

Professor Frishman keeps the class interesting. I was able to learn a lot from his class and have fun. He notices those who are putting in the effort and is more likely to accomodate those who try. I didn't realize that this class covered more than just speech, but the psychology and sociology behind it. I definetely recommend this Professor.

This guy is a blast. He makes us all laugh and becomes very personal and helpful to each student. His lectures dont really relate to his tests all that much but he tells you exactly what to expect on your tests BEFORE hand. Hes easy and alot of fun! Take him!

this guy is awesome! He is great at making you feel comfortable doing speeches and is not a real stickler for due dates... he accepts everything anytime, with minimal late penalties. He's really there to help you and is not trying to fail anyone. You give four speeches and they are a lot easier than it sounds. Take his class, it's fun and he's cool

Very laid back. Only gives 5 easy assignments through out the semester. Extremly funny, good character guy, very approachable. Avg. grade for his class is B to A.

I had already taken "Public Speaking" at another University and wasn't looking forward to taking this class. So glad I did! One of my faves at PBCC so far. Fair grader but do your work on time!

One of the best professors at PBCC Boca. Very laidback & easy to talk to. The material in the class itself is a bot boring, but he makes it fun, by cracking jokes & telling stories. Class work is fairly easy, just about 4 speeches, and a group projects. He is very helpful when it comes to any questions & he is a very fair & easy grader! Take Him!!

He has a speech impediment which is ironic but he's funny and nice.

My favorite teacher I've ever had in all 4 years of college. I suggest taking his summer class.. He only gives 3 speeches instead of the usual 5. Just do everything he tells you to do & if you go beyond that, he'll love you. Def picks favorites, but he's so chill & down to earth that it's hard not to like the guy. Love you, Frishman!!!

Professor Frishmen is not that clear when he talks but he is a great teacher. His class is easy to pass and he grades fair. After taking this class you will find it easier to talk in front of others.

Prior to this class I hated talking in front of people, and Professor Frishman just made it fun and easy to do. We do the speeches on what we want to talk about. He talks a little fast, but hes a sweetheart, hes funny and very knowledgeable. Highly reccommend!

Dr Frishman made a class that I dreaded enjoyable and fun. Speaking in front of people isn't easy but he lets you choose your own topic which helps. Extremely nice and easygoing. Learned a bunch too! Highly recommended!

Dr. Frishman is awesome! Best teacher I have had at Palm Beach State. He is very easy going, and very fair. If you do the work you will pass. Don't be late on speeches and you will have no problem passing.

Frishman is GREAT! One of my favorite professors. There was only 3 short speeches and a midterm. The only thing difficult about the course was the midterm and I think it only counted for 10% of the final grade. I Got an "A" in the class. He is a really funny guy and makes learning fun. Definitely take him! Also gives a bunch of extra credit work.

YO!! Dr.Frishman was the ish. One of the best teachers ive ever had. Everyday we started off with talking about current events. We watched CNN for the first few mins of class somedays. Great teacher funny keeps it interesting All we had were 3 speech assignments and a final Final was a little hard but open book take home. Cool guy take his class!!!

Frishman is awesome! If you study the vocabulary using the online tool on his website you will pass the final/midterm with an A. If you do not the wording is very confusing and he doesn't really go over it in class.Copy/paste the outline formats for speeches and just follow them with your words and speech topic. Dress nice when you give a speech!

Best professor at palm beach state ! Funny guy and shows cnn before every class. Speeches were easy and he is a fair grader if you work. If you get a bad grade you get the opportunity to redo the assignment. I got an "A" ! Strongly recommend him !

Would not have made it through speech without Dr. Frishman, he is awesome! Coaches you through and gives great feedback. You have to put in the work, but definitely worth it.

I took his class for 8weeks summer session. We had 3 presentations with average about 4 minutes each. Had to make a video for 1 presentation. Lots of work!!

Crystal clear and helpful about all speeches. 3 in total. One is group. Ace the class if you put in the work and effort. Gives you second chances if you mess up your speech. Very passionate and into his subject. Overall enjoyed myself and received an A.

He's a good person and professor. You just won't really learn too much in this class. I don't think there's enough time to go over the theory in the textbooks, so he never ever lectures. Kinda bummed for the money I paid, but it wasn't bad. It doesn't help that most people in the class would rather do nothing.

I liked the easiness of the class but he is a little too relaxed for a professor. He showed up late to almost every class and he has his favorite students. If you take him, make sure you show up to every class and ask him for help (even if you don't need it) so you can be on his good side.

He is very real with his students. Ignore the people saying he was bad. They most likely didn't put in the work. You have to give two major speeches and then just do classwork in groups. I am very comfortable talking in front of crowds but I saw such a huge development in students from their first speech to their second speech.

As someone who considered themselves a nervous public speaker, this class was a breeze. I feel a lot better about giving presentations and you will too. Don't worry, Professor Frishman gives encouraging feedback and he wants everyone to succeed. Follow the simple instructions and you'll get an A.

Great professor, you need the textbook, be sure to read it as everything from his exams are covered in it. If you have any questions about writing your speech be sure to ask him and he'll give you great feedback.

Professor Frishman is an outstanding teacher at PBSC. He makes nervous students calm before giving soeeches. He also offers plenty of methods to prepare and gain confidence before presenting.

Let me begin by saying I hate public speaking. Detest it. Dr. Frishman changed that. 3 years ago as a freshman it was required to take his class & I was terrified. After his instruction, and the way he made us feel comfortable about speaking it became second nature. As a senior, I now spearhead discussions and have no problems giving presentations.

I have diagnosed social anxiety disorder. I throw up, pass out.. all that. He helped me learn to overcome this. Im not going out of my way to give speeches these days but he helped me prove i can do it. Super relaxed and fun teacher to have on top of that. Best teacher ive had across 3 schools and several years

Dr. Frishman is a good professor he's nice, funny, and a really easy grader. There are 3 speech presentations & 2 tests given in the semester and the tests are based off chapters in the textbook. Some stuff we had to do for the speeches I found a little extra, but as long as you put in the effort you'll do fine in the class. I'd take him again.

This professor really made a huge improvement to boost up my confidence for my presentation. 3 speeches and two exams. Professor is willingly to help his students achieve their goals in his class.

Super nice & funny guy. cares about his students. took him online/remote during corona szn. no exams, just papers & presentations. gives enough time to get things done & answers all questions. grades fairly. we only used the textbook once for one paper at the end of the semester. just make sure you turn papers in on time & show up.

He does not really lecture just asks if you are doing all right with your speech and the only grade is the speeches which are super easy only six minutes he is super understanding of students however you don't learn much and is an easy A.

We had a few presentations through the semester, which were not hard. He helped me a lot with my public speaking skills and took the time to help everyone that needed help.

Good Virtual semester with him. I enjoyed how interactive every class was. He made each topic and assignment as easy to digest and understand, and not many Professors are willing to do so. Attendance is important and the assignments are more than manageable. It's only hard if you don't commit at least some effort. Textbook is a must(Rent on Amazon)

Professor Frishman is a great SPC instructor to take if you have a fear of public speaking. He encourages students to be themselves and allows for their own topics to be chosen. On day one he tells you to relax and be calm and gives great feedback on how our communication can be improved and clearer. Recommend to anyone new to Funds of Speech!

Professor Frishman is a great professor. Just took his class online, 2 speeches, 2 tests and that's it. He is very caring and understanding. He always would stay after if you had any questions about a grade. 10/10 would take again!

Prof Frishmans class was very laid back and easy, there were 2 speeches throughout the class and they are a majority of your grade, as long as you do them, participate in class and do your peer speech critiques you will be fine, I beleive all that is about 75/80% of your grade. Definitly try to take him if you can, very chill and easy to talk to

Professor Frishman's class is a breeze - just two speeches and two easy tests. He makes the material engaging and provides helpful feedback. Using Unstuck ai and the textbook will make this an A-worthy class.

Talks a lot, isn't strict, generous with grading if you actually follow his assignments. Just do the two major speeches. Weekly assignments are easy. Extra credit speech at the end if you don't get a good grade or skip a lot of classes.
