Ton of students show up late or never showed up, he lectured about the importance of being on time every class. Tests were a breeze just read the textbook. The term paper was lengthy but not hard at all if you remotely cared about the class. I would take him again.

If your going to take business 110 the profressor to look for is professor Stephen Gordon. He is one of the best professor, I've had the pleasure to have as a teacher. He is understanding and more then willing to help you out. I would take any class he teaches.

It's not the most difficult class I've ever taken. As long as you show up, and do your presentations, he's very fair. He tends to repeat things, which does occasionally get annoying, but that's about his only downside.

Professor Gordon is the man!! If you have an opportunity to take him, you better take him. He is the best professor that I have ever had and he will help you every step of the way. Just do your work and you'll get an A in the class. Exams are easy and he gives you all of the tools that you need to ace the exams.

Professor Gordon was a pleasure. He has a lot of experience which he leans on and refers to and is appreciated. He'll give extra tests to help boost students' averages. Also, he changes his syllabus to help students (open book exams, take home exams)

Professor Gordon is definitely the most caring and knowledgeable business professor I have taken at NCC or at the school that I transferred from. His teaching style definitely holds my interest. His lectures are on target and the humorous side of his lectures helps make the time during class fly by. His exams are fair. Just study!! It's college !

Professor Gordon really does care about his students. He wants you to challenge your self. As long as you read the text book, get to class on time and don't have excessive amounts of absences you should be ok. He goes on random rants sometimes but at least he's being straight up you.

One of my best professors of the spring 15 semester. Participate in class; study for the tests, finish the project early and the class will be a piece of cake. Nothing difficult about Mr. Gordon or the class. I plan on taking him again in the spring 2016 semester for Entrepreneurship.

He is very easy in terms of grading, even though he likes to pretend he's not. He is extremely repetitive though and it gets old very fast. He'll repeat the same jokes, and give the same lecture for the first 20 minutes of class of how important it is to be on time, come to class and bring the book. By the end of the class its just annoying.

I took Professor G. for Bus 111 & Bus 112, He was a great professor helped me for my group project. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE TEXTBOOK! ! All his test are more then 40 questions long and literally comes from the textbook! He is a fair teacher. Take advantage of the time he gives you to work on your project. Don't take advantage of him though.

80 question tests in 1 hour,which is VERY long for a slow test taker. Tests were open notes in order based off the textbook(mandatory)&he drops the lowest grade. Theres a group term project&he grades you&so does your group. If you're late,absent,on the phone,he'll write it in his notes&lower your grade. Calls on random ppl. Idk why my grade was low

I took Bus 110 with Prof G in Spring 2015, I had to come back around for this class to finish up my degree strong. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE TEXTBOOK! Take advantage of the time he gives you to work on the group project. He is a good professor, just have some patience with his riot act and you will do fine and get a A.

Show up to class! Textbook not necessary. test are 80 questions usually open book all notes are strictly off a powerpoint. Easy A as long as efforts put in.

I enjoyed the class with professor Gordon. There are No test or quizzes.. Attendance is a must. Be on time and do your work n You will be fine.. Alot of group project. And two oral presentation. I will take professor Gordon again.

Professor Gordon really prepares his students for the real world when it comes to solving problems in business. He is very strict on attendance and really requires one to be creative and create good chemistry with others in the class during group projects. If you choose to skip this class you will not pass and you will have to contribute in this class and there is a lot of group projects you have to do.

He is a great teacher and keeps the class interesting. You cannot be late or skip class, your grade will be lowered very quickly. One of the most annoying things is he takes 10 points off of a project grade anytime you have your cellphone out in class and he always sees.

This past semester with Stephen Gordon was amazing. This professor can be strict, but he clearly explains what he tolerates and doesn't tolerate. Biggest tip is to just listen, follow directions, show up for class, and do ALL of the assignments. High recommend him if you are good at writing, lots of writing based hw and group projects.

The work is very easy but this guy is brutal when it comes to attendance, leaving the room, cell phone use and participation in class room discussions. If you avoid these things, you can basically bs all the papers and get a passing grade.

I have taken Professor Gordon 2x at Nassau. Both classes I had with him, there was a group project that was extremely easy. Tests are OPEN NOTES and basically given to you. Do not get scared if he starts to "threaten" tests, grading, etc. he is extremely lenient. 4 tests-all easy. However, he does care about attendance. Amazing professor, take him.

Fun guy that just wants to see you do well in life so he pushes you a little bit tries little scare tactics but all for a good cause. Very good teacher!

I had Professor Stephen Gordon for my BUS100 PA class in Nassau Community College. This class is test free, but not at all easy. If you are up to do a number of projects, and assignments as well as a annual group project be welcome to take this class. It's an easy A class; only if you work and complete the work. Despise being lecture heavy. If youre willing to participate and answer questions during lecture you will gain a wealth of knowledge on the course. Reading th textbook will only help you. Prof Gordon wants to help you with passing and gives you the tools on how to make it happen

He's defintley not for everyone and there were times where I did not like him. However, if you do what you are supposed to do, participate and attend class, and have tough skin, you will do well in this class.
