Accounting in general is not for the weak. Professor Heath does his best to make this subject as interesting as possible. He is extremely approachable and provides great life advice (especially through the book he published). As long as you put in the work, this class will be a well earned A.

What I like about Heath's Accounting 121 class is that he provides plenty of extra credit which the assignments are used for extra practice on the homework material. I enjoyed his slide decks as they summarize the chapters. The homework assignments are not hard if you read the textbook and watched Youtube videos. I enjoyed the class this summer.

Taking online during summer. Professor Heath is a great instructor who constantly motivates his students and encourages them to do well. There are weekly assignments and he provides TONS of extra credit so there is vast opportunity for anyone to do well in the class. This class was very fun and I learned so much from the teacher. The assignments are difficult but there are unlimited try's which is also something helpful. Accounting is hard, no one claimed it would be easy but Prof Heath gives you every tool to be successful in his class. Overall, out of a scale 1-5, I would rate this class and professor a solid 4.5. The hard part is the pacing and the time it takes to complete assignments, but there is many extra credit opportunities given and the overall difficulty isn't hard content wise. A great teacher who cares about his students a lot. I took the summer online ACCT 202, and we had to complete two chapters per week. Each Chapter, you have to do a McGraw-Hill HW assignment (abt 20 questions), and there is an optional quiz you can take after each chapter for extra credit. Two tests online. Can do HW without lectures.

Mr. Heath is very fair in his grader and is very responsive when you need help. Overall a great professor!

Gives out a lot of extra credit, also very helpful and caring. Professor Heath gave me an extension on the midterm when I had something come up. Highly recommend.

Really caring professor and teaches in a way that makes sense. All the discussion posts are simple and he grades them easily. All the homework has videos attached that explains how to do the problem. Overall really good person and would recommend for every class!

This class was great! There are plenty of extra credit opportunities, so it's easy to bump up your grade. As long as you take good notes and put in the effort, it's an easy A! I would highly recommend!

I took this class a an online class and it was the best decision ever! The professor is very caring and very clear with his instructions. Tests are exactly the same as homework assignments, just a little different with the numbers, but so far this has been one of the best online classes ive taken.

Professor Heath is a great instructor for ACTG 131. His teaching style is clear, organized, and very easy to follow, even in an online class. He explains accounting concepts in simple steps and gives plenty of examples, which makes the material much easier to understand.

Professor Heath is amazing, I took all of his accounting courses! Register for his in-person classes; if not, his online courses are also great. The structure of his class is straightforward, and the material is easy to learn. The work is very manageable, lots of extra credit! Exams are pretty similar to homework. Super chill guy as well.

This has been by far the best accounting course I have taken. Professor Heath is exceptionally clear, helpful, and resourceful in his teaching. He explains complex topics in a way that is easy to understand, and he consistently provides support whenever students need it.

Great Professor! Very inspiring and understanding. He does give extra credit, so if accounting is not your strong point, you can make up the points. It's also great practice at the end, so do try not to give up. Always ask for help if you need to; you will get a response. If I had to take this class all over again, I would.

Great Professor, easy instructions, homework is evenly spread out (not a heavy workload), and lectures are very clear to understand.

Take this professor if you have a lot of classes, because the class is somewhat easy and it is amazing. The teacher is super nice and replies to emails pretty fast. Deadlines exist but its not too bad.

Have a lot of extra credit opportunities and ready to reach out to students. Fair amount of home works. Seriously, take his classes.

Lectures are pretty straightforward and follow the material, which helps when studying. The workload is manageable if you stay on top of things. The book Professor Heath wrote is really helpful and I'd highly recommend using it. Expectations are clear and grading feels fair.
