Keto is a pretty good guy. He has quite a far fetched sense of humor that I don't think everyone gets. If you read the book and show up for lecture, which isn't exactly that hard, it'll be an easy B and with a little more effort an A.

Long winded and hard to hear at times, but really helpful during office hours and with specific questions. It was an easy B, and I rarely attended and never looked at the book.

Great class--write down everything he says in review and you will sail right through the test--no papers to write. An easy A, but lectures can be REALLY boring--he doesn't encourage discussion. DON'T BUY THE BOOK-you definitely won't need it. Oh yeah, and if you ever have him, ask him about the field trip on St. Patrick's Day 2005. Woo-hoo!!

Keto was a very cool teacher. I had him for a few classes and he let me only show up for tests for one of them since it was intro and I was taking it the last semester of my senior year due to an oversight. He's not hot, but very cool and into Amish farm

funny teacher, with funny and weird stories that help you remember the important things. It's hard to convery all you want in large lecture classes, but he does a good job and makes class interesting. I enoyed going to every class.

He makes it known that you need to know the book and that he'll mention key points in class. He also makes funny remarks and makes class more enjoyable. Don't listen to the nay sayers, just do your work and you'll do great!

Keto is hilarious... great stories all the time, so random. Clearly states what is on the exam, mostly right out of the book definitions and some lecture notes. Great class all around, intersting and easy to do well.

Keto was good humoured, tried very hard to get his points across, gave you everything you needed to get an A on the test. I never fell asleep in his class, made good "points of interest", would have been better if more participated like he wanted, got the job done and made it fun, i'd recommend him, plus an easy A.

Cool dude, even for a hippie haha. didnt get political which was a nice change for Kent State. Made class as interesting as he could, but sometimes i wish i had a wrap it up button. I got an A by going to class 75% of the time and reading the book.

I like him a lot. He always tries to make the class a little more interesting by telling funny stories, and making funny comments about the stuff we're learning. Honestly, I maybe went to half of the classes and I'm getting an A. All you need to do is read the book.

Really great Proffesor, tends to get side tracked but his stories are great and they really do help with the tests. Reading the book and attending class is a must!

Good professor, lectures can get off topic, but tests are easy. Probably better suited for smaller classes, avoid the lecture hall.

ALWAYS read the text book assignments. As long as you read them before the lecture, you'll see that his stories usually have relevance. Every now and then he does go off on a tangent, but for the most part, the stories are relative.

At first I really didnt like this class I thought he was kinda confusing. But I really ended up looking forward to going, He is a really cool guy and his stories seem random but are super relevant. I recommend taking classes by him, Im planning on taking another one of his classes next semester. read the book

A good, funny teacher with a tendency to go off on silly tangents, though they're generally closely related to course material. People who don't like him, from what I've seen, don't like his opinions or teaching style, but he's clear, helpful, and quite funny during lectures. Recommended.

He is very passionate of the subject so if you care about sociology you'll enjoy hearing him ramble on. Very easy test, just go to class and pay attention. Best teacher I had that semester.

Wonderfully different professor. Great class discussions. Very helpful in and out of the classroom. Somehow made a 200 person lecture NOT boring. However, you MUST BUY THE BOOK to pass this class. When he says everything comes from the book he means VERBATIM from the book. Just read the text and use the study guides and you'll be fine.

SKeto thinks more than anyone I've ever met. It's funny to read the complaints about great students getting D's, but those are the exact students who wouldn't appreciate his methods. If you're willing to think on a subject, and not just regurgitate, give SKeto a try.

I think Keto is very cool. He uses class time to make the concepts in the book more real for his students. I am taking "Social Problems" and so far it's a good time. Shame on someone who doesn't put forth the effort and then ****es about the class...

Made sociology worth getting up early for.

Dr. Keto is a very hippie kind of guy. His class is very laid back and attendance is not mandatory. This class is very easy as long as you do the study guide before his exams. I never really took notes in his class, I just used the online text book. Another plus is you don't have to buy the book, he puts it online for you. I would def recommend!

Mr. Keto is deceiving. He is very knowledgeable about the material he is teaching, however in order to get the most from his classes you must participate. He is not one to spoon feed the material with power point slides. Read the book and come to class prepared to talk about what you read and you will enjoy his class.

Dr Keto is a great professor, passionate, and nice. However, he doesn't really goes over all that is going to be in the test during lecture at all. For the tests, he gives a study guide with all the terms, read about them in the book, and the tests are easy. If you do that, you'll most likely get an A. All we had in this class were 4 tests where pretty much all the information was from the book which was all online. Don't be intimidated by the beard. He's a really funny guy and gives great examples for remembering certain subjects of sociology.

Very easy A as long as you go to class and complete his reviews for the exams. He uses the exact definitions from the book so it's really simple if you memorize the terms. I have a 96 in the class. He also give you the free ebook link which is awesome because you'll need it for definitions. You get extra credit if you go to class on Fridays too.

I never went to class and still received an A. As long as you do the study guides for the test and used the book (provided to you for free) you should be able to pass. He takes everything from the study guide.

He is one of the best professors I've ever had. His exams are based off the study guides he gives you. It's basically all just memorization. Use the book to get all the definitions and memorize them all and you will get an A. Very simple! He is hilarious, and makes me want to go to class to listen to his lectures. Take him!!

The class had a clear grading criterion, everything on the study guide was in the textbook (my class we ended up downloading a free version of the book!) He's funny, laid back and is a really helpful professor. If you don't show up to class he posts the study guides on blackboard.
