Wow, he's horrible. He's boring and his examples suck. His test questions are horrible. 80% of the class failed his first test. Seriously, some people at this school don't belong in this class. Chemistry is not an easy subject, and if you can't pass general chem, get out of here. Kuebler is one of those professors who wants you to pass, and provided so many resources to assist you in doing so. But you have to give dedication to it. If you read the textbook, take notes, show up and participate in lecture, and do the homework you'll do well. He's very helpful outside of class, and provides many opportunities for extra credit.

Dr Kuebler is very caring and wants you to succeed. The in person tests are 30 Q on paper. 3 tests and Final Exam make up 80 percent of grade. HOWEVER he gives a lot of extra credit that can boost you about a letter grade! Just show up to class and do your very long HW. Final exam is heavily curved.

Dr. Kuebler is an amazing and hilarious professor. He gives tons of extra credit if you show up to class and do the homework. The final is an ACS exam but he does curve. His exams are challenging at first because they're formatted towards the ACS exam but I would 100% take again. Study for the exams by using notes from the PowerPoints and homework

Such an amazing professor. Go to class! His lectures are fast paced but you get so much EC if you go. My test average was about a 75% before the final and I ended with a 95 because I did every HW assignment and went to lecture. He's so kind and all of these bad reviews are people who didn't put in enough effort to pass. Best chem2 professor!

I LOVE this man, he made difficult concepts make sense. He truly seems to care about student success, and does everything shy of just giving you an A to make sure you pass. He holds 3 office hours per week, gives good practice tests, tons of extra credit, and replaces your lowest test grade with the final exam grade, which is heavily curved.

Best professor I've ever had. He truly cares about his students. The course material is SO challenging but he prepared us so well for the ACS final exam, though his regular exams were difficult - he designed them to set us up for success for the final. I respect this professor so much and highly recommend taking him.

Incompetent and condescending professor who will constantly change how grading works throughout the semester, then blames the students for his own mistakes. Made me completely uninterested in chemistry and attending classes due to his bizarre way of conducting the class and himself.

He's definitely not a bad professor to take for chm2, but he needs to improve his grading. The day after final, he started changing grades & dropped everyone's grade by 6-7% because “not everyone deserved to pass the class who were currently passing”. I understand why it was done but not appropriate for the timing, especially for those graduating.

He gives TONS of extra credit but the grading is very confusing. This is a comically time consuming class, so if you have a job or other hard classes, you'll struggle a lot. The homework alone takes 3+ hours a week, never mind the reading which takes just as long. It's not his fault tbf, chem 2 is very hard. He's very funny and understanding.

He's the best in the department, but he's tough. He changed my grade and dropped it by 6-7% because he feared that people who were passing shouldn't pass because of “too much extra credit” as if that's not the point of extra credit??!! Didn't stick to the syllabus which is not fair. Grades were inaccurate all semester.

Dr. Kuebler is a great professor! Really cares about his students learning and is very approachable. He hosts great office hours that are kind of like tutoring. His lectures are great but he does do attendance points (most of it for extra credit). Chemistry 2 is a really hard course, but he makes it fun to learn. Downside is no round up on grades.

This class was really tough for me. Dr. Kuebler is very nice and clearly knowledgeable, but the class and exam layout just didn't work well for my learning style.
