Easy A if you study the day before - It's important to understand what you're doing during the lab, but the way he teaches it is very easy. Find reliable friends to be lab partners - No hw, tests can be MILDLY tricky (if that) - Let's you leave as soon as you're done with labs, so class usually ended up being an hour. Take him, you'll enjoy it!

The class is "easy", but he just grades the exams. There are 2 midterms and one final. The first midterm is hard as hell! almost impossible to get an A in the class. I bought books to help myself but there is anything from the books that he talks in class. Don't but any book, just stay in class and write any possible example that he gives you.

The lectures feel a bit long at times, but you'll definitely learn. He's also just a really nice guy and does his best to help everyone succeed, but you really do need to attend if you want to do well. If you do plan on being absent regularly, get the book he recommends. Also, no homework at all, just three tests.

This class is an easy AB if you actually try and study. He lets you use a one page sheet of notes on all three exams (front and back). He also gives an extra credit worksheet that can earn you half of the points you missed on your lowest exam score. Great professor and he tries to help you pass.

Prof. Lee is a gem! He injects real life stories and facts into his lectures making the material more interesting and tangible. He wants all his students to succeed and encourages asking question (before, during or after class). He gives extra credit assignments as well! If you talk during the whole class or don't show up you probably will fail!!!

Mr. Lee is a great teacher. He lists textbooks but they are not required. He gives the notes sometimes, but are available to print online. The notes are fill in as you follow along with him take detailed notes. He allows front and back cheat sheet/ review with every exam. Utilize it. I suggest partnering up with a responsible classmate to pass.

For Ocean Lab, I suggest taking detailed notes. Also utilize cheat sheet/note card for 1st exam. Partner or work in groups. He is very patient, lets you attend other class or make up missing/late assignments if need be. He stays after to help and answer questions. It is an easy A/B just do what you have to do. We never stay the whole time for class

His tests are a bit tricky. He allows you to bring a sheet of notes for every test, including the final. Take my advice, type all your notes, ( he allows you to), put every question on the note sheet, including all the lecture slides, and you will get an A. No homework. 2 exams 1 final.

Recommend taking with a friend. Gives extra credit and curves the grade. He is really enthusiastic about the class. Powerpoint notes help so copy them down

Profesor Lee is great! Too many kids drop because they do poorly on the first exam. Study for every test, make a study guide with a friend, he provides a list of what might be on the exam, print powerpoint slides and bring them to follow along to his lecture. If you're lazy to prepare before the exam, you'll probably do bad and drop. Helpful prof

I never get a good grade on science. I took his class on Winter and passed with an A. He gave out 3 tests, and a final. Not a hard test at all. He lets you bring notes for the test, and he'll give a study guide. A very good teacher if you work quite hard. I don't mind taking another science class. He's a very good professor, recommended!

Overall easy class if you take good notes. Let's you bring a full sheet of paper to the test filled with notes, but don't take that for granted cuz people usually do bad still. Second test was much easier. He offers a bit of extra credit too. Class is super boring but take good notes and listen and guaranteed A

One of the best professors I have taken at Pierce. He is very clear with what he expects & goes over everything that will be on the test. There are three exams in all. I really enjoyed this class, even though I thought I wouldn't. No textbook required because he goes over all of the material in his lectures. Notes are allowed for the exams.

This guy is a genius! He loves what he's teaching which makes learning so much easier. Oceanography is interesting, but you can only like it so much. There are 3 exams and no homework what so ever. You don't really need to study as long as you print out the lecture notes, attend class, and make a solid cheat sheet for the tests.

He basically gives you an A, just try. Extra credit after each test. Talk up in class, when he asks the class something he is seeing who cares to pay attention!

Hard class in my opinion. It is nice that he posts the notes online for you to bring to class though, and that he lets you use a page of notes for the tests. So much information though and I wish he would reinforce it with a little homework sometimes. Still a great teacher though, very informative and it's an interesting subject.
