Good Professor for speech. Speech can be really hard if you dont get the right professor. There are only 2 small speeches and one group presentation. Really easy grader.

he is awesome, hes very funny and easy going. there is only one test which is the final, only 3 speeches which is awesome (my girlfriend had like 8 to do with another professor), and he grades easy on speeches. hes uses blackboard for easy points, gives u everything u need to pass with an A. overall awesome professor, take him!

Professor Luscher is a really nice guy with a weird sense of humor. I'm constantly laughing in his class! The class is really easy. All you have to do is complete your homework/discussions and 3 speech assignments (Informative, Persuasive & Group) and you'll be sure to get an A. The textbook is never used in class; but you do need it for the exam.

Proffesor really nice kinda guy that just wants to do his job and be out. only 3 speeches two alone and one group. a couple of online assignments and your done. easy A.. attendance is not required unless its your speech day of course. and textbook is not needed at all!

He's one of the easiest teachers I've ever had. The lowest grade I've ever received from him was a 90. I've seen some pretty bad speeches done in his class but he always gives at least an 80! The only reason to get a bad grade is to not show up for your speech. Super easy and pretty funny. I would recommend him!

Great online teacher, very organized!! You will have no issues in this class & you will learn essential information. I really wish all online classes followed his assignment template, its very easy to follow. He responds quick to questions & he's really nice!!!

This online class is no joke. If you are a slacker do not take this class. Professor Luscher grades fairly, however you must apply yourself and complete all of your assignments. The speeches are hard to record because you have to gather your own audience, which can be nerve recking also there is a lot of reading. Overall, I got an "A".

I've gained alot of confidence since I've taken this professor's class. He motivated me so much.His class is so stress free. I think that he wants everybody to do well. If you are afraid of expressing yourself before a lot of people. This is the class to take. It's just eight weeks and if you do all the work well, you'll get an A.

If you are taking the speech communication class online, this is the best professor to pick. The other ones will give you an F on speech for not having an audience, he will work with you and still give you a good grade. Easy A if you complete the 3 speeches, group project, journal entries and weekly assignments.

Easy A and straight to the point! 3 speeches and easy grader. Has a nice sense of humor. Stay on top of when a few discussions and homework's are due on blackboard and you'll easily get an A and DO your speeches on time. I hated public speaking and he made it easy and just get to know all your classmates, makes the ride more pleasant!

Professor Luscher is a wonderful teacher. He is very down to earth and tries to make you comfortable in class. If he taught another class i would take him in a heartbeat! I took the dual class half on campus half online and it wasnt difficult at all. All you have to do is 3 speeches and 1 group project speech. He gives extra credit!

Just about done with speech class. Very easy he is a very lenient teacher not strict at all. Just complete the quizzes discussions and the speeches of course and you will pass with an A. Quiz material comes straight from the book but all the answers are online anyways. As an online class the hardest thing is finding an audience for your speeches.

Great professor. Clear and simple. If you're scared to speak in front of others, take him. Easy A! I get shy easily, but I really enjoyed this class. The negative person below is nowhere near close to how he is in person.

Highly recommend him. To the only negative review - it's an online class, you're responsible to manage your time, not his. Do you really need to get babied? Loved this class and the speeches are small (3) and very easy. Lenient and everyone at least got a B or higher. But you should get an A with no problem.

I was a little nervous prior taking this class since it requires speaking in front of others..but I ended up liking it a lot. Speeches and assignments were really easy and not nerve wrecking at all! He is approachable and friendly. Take this class, you won't regret it.

If you do not like to do speeches in front of a class, I recommend you take Professor Luscher online! You get to record your speeches in front of an audience YOU choose. Makes it much more comfortable!!

Easy A, just read the book and take the quizes online. Do three speeches in clas around 5 mins each, all you do is show up and do the easy work and you will pass an easy A. The teacher is a nice guy and as long as you do the work, consider it an easy grade. He doesnt even keep you the whole class time. I suggest the blended course and so does he.

I took the blended course and it was a breeze. Attendance was only mandatory on days that you were giving a speech, because it was for a grade. Prof is an easy grader and actually gives good feedback. His course material is extremely clear. If you're nervous about public speaking, just follow the rubric and you'll be fine

GREAT speech professor! If you have a fear of speaking in front of a crowd, take him! There is only 3 speeches: introductory, lab, and persuasive but they are easy. He tells you exactly how to format the speeches. Blended class has 10 discussions, 2 due each week and 12 quizzes, 2 quizzes due each week. There is also an easy team assignment.

Okay, so I have REALLY bad social anxiety and even I was able to get through this class and got a B! I feel like this class actually helped with my anxiety! He's an amazing professor. I took the 6 week blended course. We have 3 speeches, some online discussions and quizzes, and one group project. SUPER EASY. If you have speech anxiety, take him.

Laidback, funny guy. No tests, just 3 speeches and a bunch of online work that you can complete the first day your class starts, that's what I did, just had the speeches to focus all my time on. Not too tough of a grader, I got an A+. If your lazy you won't get a good grade, but if you put in some work you'll get an A or B no problem. Take him.

Please take this proffessor. Really easy class just do the assignments. The speeches are really easy and he says himself that he's "numb" to speeches. You do have a group project in the end but it's easy.

He's a great teacher. Half was online and the other half was in class but it was basically just to present our speeches. it was only 6 weeks so it wasn't bad at all. It has honestly been one of my fave classes i've had so far.

Professor is very down-to-earth, helpful and clear in intructions for speeches. Very lenient with grading speeches as long as the time requirement is met and decent eye contact is made. Will help with constructing speeches. Communications portion also easy, mostly common sense. Easy class and great professor.

Class itself is easy. Hard part is 3 speeches with 8 adults in audience. If you can't get 8 adults easily, take class on campus. You need 3 speeches that range from 3 to 6 minutes. You won't get feedback so you won't have any idea if you are doing a good job or not. Honestly, I think he just makes sure criteria is met and gives 100 w/o watching.

By far my favorite professor. He is funny as well as a great teacher. I was so afraid to give speeches but he gives you really good tips and prepares you. Before any speech he himself gives speeches as examples to give you an idea. Loved his class and him as a professor. Would take him again in the future.

I took this course in 8 weeks. It was a lot of work because the time was short, but manageable. The quizzes are online and you can use your textbook that he gives for free. Three speeches and one group project at the end.

Class was extremely long but we always got out early unless it was a day we gave speeches. Class was also half in-class half online so super easy, he helps you pass if your'e a good student.

Great person overall, he really grades easily and understands that public speaking isn't everyone's cup of tea. Half of the class was online, so there were discussions online. Having to log on frequently and craft 300 words on a text that as dull as can be is hard, but the class overall is so enjoyable.

As much as I'd like to enjoy this class, I didn't. I took it in a 7 week course so everyday there's work to do. I feel like he asks for too much. The hard part about the class is the 3 speeches. There's another with a group. He's really cool & easy going but if you want a life he asks too much of his discussions & you really have to read for quizs

Overall a great and respectful professor. Vital for you to read the textbook to past the quizzes which are easy with 20 questions each. He gives good advice on how to take good speeches and the text books chapters correlates through each speeches (Introdutrary, Informative, & Persuasive) Easy A if you do everything on time and read the book

I took his session 4 course. So far he is my favorite professor. He is aware that speaking in front of an audience is tough for most so he doesn't grade strictly. He gives clear guidelines for every speech. If you follow them you will get a passing grade on every presentation. He cuts to the chase so class always ended early. He's hilarious too

I avoided this class for so long but wasn't as bad as I expected. He made giving speeches super easy and gives you great advice for future presentations. Online assignments are due everyday for ses 2 classes. 3 speeches, 1 group project, read the chapters, plan ahead, and you're almost guaranteed an A! I got a B because I got a little lazy :)

Best Professor at Broward College! Prof. Luscher is simply put an easygoing, funny, and makes what could seem a daunting and scary class fun and actually enjoyable! There are three speeches to do. Prof luscher was the best decision I have made in my college career. He take his time and is very clear. If you follow his directions you will pass. I only got a C because my grandmother passed away and missed a lot of assignments.

You have to submit quizzes every so often, but they are easy if you know how to work around the book. The group projects are fun, and his speech assignments are actually something you want to do. Honestly I purchased the textbook ( never read the chapters, just used the text to cite for discussions). You have to put in a little time for this class but honestly this is the perfect professor , super nice ! Laid back! Actually gives good feedback , there is a group project and I fortunately got a great group! Easy project as well.

Took this class as a session 2 and passed with an A+. Recommend taking with a friend because it will be very easy. Graded by 10 discussion(easy if you give yourself time to do), open book quizzes, 3 speeches, and a group project. Attend the lectures pass. Really nice guy and gave good feedback on speeches. It was technically an in-person class, I took his class during corona so it was 100% Zoom. He went through some stuff at the time, and let us know way ahead of time that he would be canceling a class. He is super respectful, rarely uses the entire class time, we can either leave early or stay to ask questions. Easy but fair grader. TAKE THIS CLASS!

One of the best professors Ive had. Took him for humanities, and you can tell hes someone whos actually passionate about the humanities. Its really cool discussing some of the topics. I enjoyed his class. If anyone fails this class it is because theyre lazy and refuse to be proactive. Ask questions, email him etc. He will help you if you need.

One of the best professors hands down! This class was one of the easiest classes I have taken and it was all because of him. He very throughly explained each assignment and the requirements which allowed me to get A's on everything. The class consists of 4 speeches (3 individual, 1 group) and of 16 open note quizzes (piece of cake). I recommend it.

Professor Luscher is an excellent professor. He knows what he is talking about. In Public Speaking there is a lot of homework and a lot of quizzes, but they are not hard. Teaches through experience, for example, we did 3 presentations with different approaches. Very interesting, a lot of work though.

The class consists of quizzes due every other day that are very easy to complete and mostly questions that can be answered with common sense. need to do an intro speech, an informative, and a persuasive speech. You need to do an outline and peer/self reviews for two of them. the last speech is a group speech. Prof. Luscher is entertaining and fair

Great class! He explains how he wants things to the very last detail, so as long as you pay attention you will do well. Quite a few discussions and quizzes, but they're fairly easy. Your grade is mainly based on 3 speeches and one group project. Is lenient if you still need to submit work late and gives you a chance to always present your speech.

You have to write a 500-word reflection paper for each unit along with posting to a discussion board, both of which are incredibly easy if you read the unit. My advice: review the videos, texts, and activities in detail to score well on the midterm and final. I am not a good tester and got a 75 on the final exam and still left the class with an A.

If you choose to take Professor Luscher's speech class, be prepared to present in front of the class and speak publicly. His assignments are not difficult at all, and he does assign group projects. You will become a better public speaker after taking his class. I would recommend him if you're willing to put in the work.
