I don't understand why everyone seems to have such problems with A&P. Everything you need is in the notes and on his website. I got A's in that class and didn't study much. Maybe it's just me.

he gives you a lot of chances to try and bring your grade up. tests are a little bit hard so you really need to study the material. would recommend to anyone! Overall a great teacher...likes to talk about sex tho...

I never went to class and got the notes from somebody else and I made straight A's in his A&P class. Very easy if you study, I have no idea where people get the idea it was hard...maybe they spent to much time roping bulls and drinking.

He is awesome! The people who do not like him probably did horrible in the class because they didnt give a**** about the class and didnt study! SO their loss. He is one of the best teachers I have had.

He's not that hard guys. Read the notes, do the test reviews, and look @ the online material he gives you, and you will do great. He will always help you if you need it. He's very easy to talk to. In fact, if you don't know something, he expects you to come to his office and demand help. He's great.

This guy is a riot. His class is fun and lively. He has a great personality. Granted, the class requires a lot of studying, but this is college folks - quit whining! I totally recommend this guy, one of my favorite teachers!

He is a great teacher. He knows his stuff inside and out. He cant sit still though and will sometimes just start stretching for no apperant reason. His jokes are funny and he isnt afraid to treat you like a college adult.

McReynolds is the best biology teacher i have ever had! He is very funny and entertaining. His tests come directly from his notes so if you go to class you'll do good. He always made class fun and told lots of good stories. He also talks to students like they are on his level and never makes then feel stupid for asking a question.

TOO MANY NOTES BUT GREAT TEACHER

Take all the notes and do test reviews from his website, there a lot of notes but if you know and fully understand the reviews you will do good on his tests.

His tests are only hard if you never go to class and never study your notes. Go to EVERY class and study ALL of your notes, in fact memorize them...it's not that hard! He's really funny, has a few dirty jokes up his sleeve...I had him for both A&Ps made A's in both and never went to SI. STUDY!!!

he is a really cool teacher and he's funny. the class is hard, but DUH its anatomy! its gonna require some studying. SI really helps too

Must go to class and take notes or get them. They're what you need to take the test. If you go to class and have a borderline grade he will consider bumping it up if you have less than 3 absences. GO TO SI. DO THE ONLINE REVIEWS! they will help alot.

Great professor! His test are somewhat difficult, but if you study your notes and go to class and lab you'll do really well. He makes the lecture very intieresting and he has a great sense of humor. The material was boring some of the time but he kept your attention which helps you learn the subject

Had McReynolds for A&P. Amazing teacher. Extremely intelligent. Taught much more than just the required material, which was highly appreciated. You MUST GO TO CLASS. It is worth it. Well formatted notes, and he is honest about what he's going to put on the test, unlike some professor I've had in the past.

The class takes effort but not impossible. You don't need the textbook but should get the lab manual. You MUST get the notes from class. SI and test reviews are worth the time- how i got an a. He totally looks like Alan Rachins from dharma and greg.

Alot of note taking. If you show up for class & Lab, use SI, & study your notes you will do fine.

I hate biology but had 2 take it of course 2 get it out of the way!McReynolds is a gr8 teacher,he gives gr8 notes & explains things thoroughly!b ready 2 write,cuz all u do is take notes,but thr DEFINANTLY very helpful!his test&quiz arent 2 hard IF U STUDY.so STUDY!u dont need the book, but u do need the lab manual!hes really funnnny by the way

its a hard class but as long as you study you should have no problem. i extremely suggest going to SI with Jessica she is awesome and really helps you understand the material. this class is not impossible.

Hard class. You have to take notes to pass this class. You have to study every day to get an a. Allow time in your schedule. He's a good instructor.

this class is pretty easy. his test come straight from the notes which he gives(so no guessing what to write). Attend SI it helps alot for this course, test are easy just study. I would definitely recommend this teacher

LOVED this course and this prof! easy as long as you memorize the notes copied from the powerpoint during lecture. steve is great about answering any questions and emailing notes if you missed a day. he's funny too, thats a plus!

STUDY STUDY STUDY! And GO TO SI for BIOL 219. McReynolds knows what he's talking about and does a fantastic job giving you all the information but it's A LOT of information and it's HARD stuff. But he's an entertaining professor and knows his stuff.

Anyone who says this class is easy is a nerd. Otherwise study and pay attention in class, go to SI. This prof is amazingly intelligent, available,funny,and professional. Next semester will be loads of fun...never a dull moment and he cares about his students. Take him even if you just need basic Bio!!

He's a great professor and is very helpful if you go to him and ask questions. Sit front seat and he'll notice you more! I miss that class already.. By far best professor Ive had here at Tarleton!!

Looks like Yoda. Very good teacher! Explains things well and gives lots of time to write down notes. HE is passionate about anatomy/physiology but likes to make his tests tricky. You may study for hours and hours and not make an A. Attendance is not required but he is more lenient towards your final grade is you always go to class.

He does not look like Yoda. This class is difficult in that you have to study. Imagine that. The professor is smart, helpful, funny, and keeps your interest. He cares about your grade and will help you one on one. Keeps control of the class and is very organized; recaps previous lesson and goes from there. Awesome teacher! Take in long semester.

McReynolds is by far my favorite professor ever! I took both A&P classes and retook the second half. Got an A the second time. Go to class, SI and take notes! Study, and do well in lab you'll make an A. It takes work but he makes it fun and interesting!

I wouldn't call this class HARD. It's more... time consuming. If you're a bad note taker or rarely study, don't take Anatomy unless you have to. It's a ton of effort, and I can't say I really remember anything I've learned. All you need to do is remember it for the exams, which are frequent and stressful. VERY stressful class, over all.

Only one word can describe this man. Amazing. I made such a high grade in the class that I was exempt from the final exam. Honestly, anyone who complains about this class is either lazy or just plain stupid. The subject is interesting and he has a crazy and fun character. I would recommend him 10x over! =)

He is an amazing teacher. but you have to try in his class. people will tell you he is a hard teacher but its just because he requires you to actually learn the material. TAKE GOOD NOTES and go to the SI sessions. it is possible to make an A you just have to try hard from the very begining of the class. I recommend this teacher to anyone

I took both of his A&P classes and he was difficult but I throughly enjoyed it. He's a good professor and grades fairly. I would recommend him for any biology classes, especially A&P.

Great and funny professoe! Very easy class if you study! Just study the notes, they are the only thing on the tests. He says if you want to make an A get the book, but you do not need it at all. I never opened it and made an A. Just study and go to SI!

He's a brilliant teacher. He knows exactly what he's talking about. The course itself is very challenging a lot of notes that you MUST take. But as long as you pay attention, attend class, and GO TO SI SESSIONS you'll make a good grade. He's very helpful and available to help if you need it.

Go to si every week! especially the test prep sessions! he's intelligent, humorous, and easy-going. takes alot of time and effort and studying. I got an A, but it was hard work and worth it. i really learned alot and that's what he wants. don't slack when it comes to studying, if you make A in lab it will help you alot with lecture!

He is actually very funny. You usually have a quiz every other class period but if you take the notes and go to S.I. then they are easy. His test are a little difficult but if you just pay attention which isn't hard with his personality then you will pass.

The man is completely NUTS!! He is so funny though! He is really good teacher in my opinion! He really knows what he is talking about and he is pretty passionate about too! Take note of his little hints, they actually really really help! Uses powerpoint to give notes. Tests are bad, you just gotta pay attention to the question!

Great Professor! You have to be willing to put in the study time and go to SI but if you do that the class is fairly easy. He cares about your grade and will give you 2 extra points to your final grade for good attendance.

Favorite professor by far! He's quirky but makes it fun if it ever could be. He's EXTREMELY resourceful. Tests are straight from lecture so STUDY! I never went to one SI and I made a high B. Just sat down with my notes. Don't take him if you're a lazy student. If you don't do good it's 100% your fault.

Good Professor. study for the quizzes as if they were tests its worth it in the end. no textbook ever. All questions come straight from the notes! if you put effort in the class you will see results.

Professor McReynolds is an amazing professor. However the course is not easy. You need to be in class everyday to take notes or you will miss out on valuable information. He is very fair, if you show up, take good notes, and study hard you will do well in the class. He also does a great job of explaining the material so attendance is a must.

Steve is one of the best professors I've had. He's funny and knows what he's talking about. Going to class is a MUST. He doesn't have his notes online and they're what his exams are based off of. Highly recommend going to SI (especially the exam review ones). Don't need the book. Class is highly interesting. Tests are hard. STUDY STUDY STUDY.

McReynolds is an amazing prof. Hes absolutely hilarious and extraordinarily brilliant. He knows every single topic he teaches forwards and backwards (which is why his tests are so hard). Be ready to read the book, read the power points (I took pictures of them as well as wrote notes during class which helped) and read your notes 1000 times over.

He is a very chill professor. He helps you with anything and loves questions, but only outside of class. He does very well with teaching the material he needs to teach in a organized manner. He is VERY smart and can answer almost any question you have! The tests are hard, but only because the course is hard. Bumps up your grade if you go to class.

A&P can either be the hardest class you take or the easiest. McReynolds is a great professor, knows his stuff. The tests are straight from the notes, but give yourself a few days before the test to really get the material down. GO TO SI.

This man is the G.O.A.T. He is such a nice man. Though the class seems tough all you have to do is go to S.I to pass and rewriting notes help. I highly recommend him!!! He's funny too. I actually took him for A&P 1&2. Actually kind of hot .

Great professor I had him for both A&P I and II. He tries to make the class as interesting as possible. Rewards you for good attendance at the end by adding pts to your total grade. Very clear and to the point. Everything you need for tests is in his notes. Very approachable. GO TO CLASS. If you think you cant attend regularly, take someone else

Mcrenyolds is an awesome teacher, as long as you show up and study the notes you should pass. He gives reviews in class to help you pass, gIves a brief overview from the day before in lecture to get you back on track. He can also be pretty funny. There are a LOT of notes that you have to have but if you study you should be fine.

Very good anatomy teacher. The course itself is difficult but he is very good at making you understand. You never stay the whole time and he lectures at a good pace. If you have good attendance he will add 2.5 points to your final grade at the end of the semester. He has a good sense of humor and is very laid back for a professor. Great professor!

GREAT professor. Took him for AP 1 and 2. You'll take lots of notes but be sure you attend every day to get all of the information you need. He gives extra credit if you go everyday. Lectures are very interesting and he keeps class light, makes you want to be there.

I had Mcreynolds for Anatomy 1 and he was a great teacher. His lectures are long and you take a bunch of notes but thats basically it for the class. You HAVE to do lots of studying outside of the class (I recommend attending S.I. and getting a tutor). There's 4 total tests, and thats your grade. Study hard and you'll pass!

Lot's of material! He's really funny though, and there's SI available in case your struggling. Easy to fail if you don't study.

Get ready to work hard for this class. This class was based entirely on the four main tests you took and the four lab practicals that you will also take. The lab practicals will bring your grade up and keep your head above water. GO TO THE PRACTICE LAB. His tests are hard but he is a fair teacher who loves his job and tries to make learning fun.
