Fairly easy class but very time consuming. Lots of group work and group projects.

The professor moves extremely fast through the material, but there is a lot to learn regarding the tax world. Quizzes and homework are open book and open notes, but they are also timed. The professor randomly calls on students to do problems in front of the class, so make sure you know how to do the problems in class.

Brother Steve moves really fast during class discussions. He gives power points and readings to study before class-make sure you do them. They seem like little points, but can make a big difference in your overall grade. He does randomly call on students to do problems in front of the class so make sure you make good spreadsheets.

This has been one of my more enjoyable classes I have taken while at school. He is enthusiastic about material which helps in a tax class. The grading system for projects is competitive(i.e. in a debate a team gets more points for winning than their losing opponent) but he gives more than enough extra credit opportunities to make up any points lost

The material covered in this course has the potential to be painful. Brother Steve (his enthusiasm for the material, the structure of the class, and his sincere desire to help us learn) was the #1 reason this became one of my favorite classes in the Accounting program. There's lots of group work, and I was fortunate to be in an awesome group, also.

He is helpful and is always willing to explain, which is good because sometimes in class he goes too fast. Be aware of deadlines on your own.

One of my favorite teachers in the accounting program. Very knowledgeable in tax and teaches with clarity. Material was a lot tougher than ACC 321, but the grading structure makes it possible to pass the class. Just don't underestimate the amount of time you will spend for the class.

The teacher has given numerous tools that can help students understand. He does expect students to figure concepts out before class and then while in class show how what was learned is used in the "real world". Questions are always welcome in class and if you still have questions you are strongly encouraged to see him during his office hours.

Class was informational during the scheduled class period. However, it was very rushed. There was not enough time dedicated to the subject matter and it felt like we were just being pushed through the material even if we weren't comfortable with the subject matter. The homework was difficult and the exams were more difficult than the homework.

A lot of people complain at how fast he is. I don't think he's fast. If you listen, focus, and ask questions on what he's teaching you will understand the material. Amazing Teacher. Tough material because it's very fast paced, but I highly recommend Bro. Steve because he cares for you and wants you to pass. Enjoyed the Devotionals before class, but be sure to be patient when learning the new material because the class goes really, really fast.

He's a great teacher. This is the first class in a long time that I would come to excited to learn. He simplified concepts to make them easy to understand and was very considerate of questions and comments.

I really enjoyed this class. Before taking it I had heard a few bad things about Bro. Hunt, but I took him anyway and I am so happy I did! He is the perfect teaching for my learning style. I can see why people don't like him, but I think he is one of the best teachers on campus. Word of advice. DO EVERYTHING. It's time consuming but worth it.

This course was absolutely excellent. Steve's energy and enthusiasm is contagious .Steve is absolutely excellent and helps to make a difficult subject interesting and understandable. I highly recommend his course, as you will learn everything needed to know for your future.

Brother Hunt is a good teacher. If you have to take 202 I would recommend him (or Foutz). Bro Hunt is always energetic and ready to help. This course uses McGraw hill's connect, which is horrible, but that's the course, not the teacher. Everyone uses connect. Overall he is a good understanding teacher.

Very helpful, moves through things quickly, but its good because he doesn't waste any time (other than the long spiritual thoughts before class). Might seem a little rude at first, but hes very understanding and willing to help (if you put forth effort). Very good, makes a very boring class somewhat exciting.

Brother Hunt is the best Accounting teacher I have had. He is very precise with what is expected from his student and will do anything to make sure they understand the material if you just ask him. He's very passionate about accounting and it shows in his lesson, the hour flies by. Bottom line pay attention do the work and study you will get an A.

The Managerial Acctg material is challenging, but Brother Steve gives you more than enough resources to do well in the class if you apply them. He helps you really learn the material and the real world application. He genuinely cares about each student and personally helped me a lot with life, not just accounting.

He talks very fast. Sometimes he is hard to keep up with. He is willing to help if you ask him. If he is going to fast just ask him to clarify something and he will. Overall he is a really good teacher. I would recommend anyone to take him.

At first, I was a little taken back by the teacher. He is very unconventional in his teaching methods, especially for an accounting teacher. I hated it at first, but I came to find it really helped me learn. I did not think I would have understood accounting this well. I like that all exams are online. Overall, good class.

The first week or so I was not too pleased with the professor and wanted to switch classes. However, his teaching style and his personality grew on me quickly. Great teacher and expects a lot from his students. It helped me learn a ton and actually put forth effort on my end. The topics covered weren't always easy, but he helps you understand well.

Brother Steve is about as good of a teacher that you can get for this class. He really wants you to do well and will go out of his way to make sure you understand. I personally will receive a bad grade because i did not have the time that this class requires. I'll retake it and i'll take it from none else then brother Steve.

Brother Hunt is great. He is a great teacher. He moves fast in class, but if he didn't you would understand less on the homework and tests. The only difficult part is the material, 202 is hard, but if you ask him, he will explain any concept crystal clear. I highly recommend him.

Excellent Teacher, One of the best. Always extremely helpful and desires that you learn how to figure things out yourself. Grades fairly, if you put in the work you get the grade. Class was always extremely engaging and bro Steve always made sure to explain anything that wasn't crystal clear. Only two semesters left and he's been my favorite by far

I really liked Brother Hunt. It wasn't mandatory to attend, so I ended up just working on assignments in class time instead. However; if I had a hard time learning material on my own, attending a single class was usually enough to grasp the concept. He's a very adept teacher, I would recommend him to just about anyone.

This is the only course that made me feel like I am being prepared to go and work after I graduate. He helps you acquire skills that will really help you to be successful in the future. He offers variety of different assignments. I always looked forward to attending his classes.

This class requires to be self-taught and A LOT of group work.The material is very useful,he teach good but better if you pass by his office. Is willing to help, don't be afraid to ask him, he seem like he actually cares about his students. I have taken twice for different classes and I if you prepared before class you do very well.

He can be blunt (I'm not sure if "blunt" is the right word) at times, and he does tend to get off topic. But, his class is fun, and he teaches things in a fun way. If he ever offends you, it's not on purpose, and he will apologize.

Great class! Very practical class. You will learn skills that you can take with you beyond the classroom. If you don't like change and only excel in the traditional class setting then you will not like it much. But, if you have a desire to apply the things you learn and succeed in your career you will love it!

I feel Brother Hunt works the hardest, out of any other accounting teacher, to help the students succeed.

The text book was optional, but it was helpful to have (New is $$$$, but used is reasonable). He is there to help and makes himself as available as possible to the students. There is a lot of group work and you need to be a self starter.

I loved the way this class was set up and Brother Steve's teaching method. It was more about giving us the tools to find the information we needed than cramming information down our throats. Brother Steve is great!

Brother Steve is a great teacher. In 202 he taught so well. In this class however, he expects you to teach yourself. It's great for those students but difficult for the students who don't like that method of teaching. It is very difficult to get below a C in this class. If you do get below a C, you didn't take tests AND didn't show up to class.

Brother Steve's style of teaching is great. Starts with great spiritual thoughts and very useful financial thoughts. He has structured this course so that you are in small groups (tax firms) and you work with your tax firms in real-world situations. Very innovative/effective. Not your typical "memorize the text and spit it out on a test" course.

I loved this teacher! The class itself is a lot of busy work, but Brother Steve makes it even easier with some of the Excel worksheets he creates himself. I did great on all my homework and some tests because of those worksheets. I highly recommend him to everyone who needs to take this class.

Enthusiasm and helpfulness are his strengths. He is a genius and loves teaching. He will give you good insights. However, he is a little disorganized. Overall, a great experience with him, I have completed 2 courses with this chap.

Brother Steve has a genuine desire to help his students learn to be good tax researchers, consultants, etc but he also strongly encourages self improvement and gives tips on life issues. The class workload was steady and somewhat demanding. I really enjoyed it and Brother Steve.

The instructor is well enthused to instruct, however, suffers from the occasional 'squirrel' moments during class. You will learn a lot of tax knowledge and financial planning concepts here.
