Best math teacher I ever had! He goes slow, so he can explain everything thoroughly. Loved this class!!

I have taken many other teachers for math, he is by far the easiest to get a good grade, he really teaches the material well which helps you to get a good grade. Some of his jokes are funny which helps the class go by fast.

Mr Park started out going over every piece of material throughly. By the last 4 sections he wizzed through the information so quick you were on you were on your own. I did well in this class, but could have done better. Overall he is need the best math insructor I have had at RCC.

Professor Park was an excellent teacher. Made the class interesting and fun. I would take his Mat 52 class if the hours matched my schedule. This Professor is highly recommended.

He is an amazing math teacher. Hilarious and very understanding. The material is very difficult to execute in one semester though, so he goes a little fast. His tests are not outrageously hard and he is very good at helping you with questions after class. Put in the work and show up to class, he'll definitely help you pass!

Professor Park is a good teacher. i really do not like math but he made it easy for me to understand. you must come to class and do the homework.he moves fast but will answer any question without making one feel dumb. humerous teacher. test are homework based.

Not much to say about Mr. Park besides he's probably one of the best Math Professors out there. As long as you get to class and stay on top of things there's absolutely no way you should even get close to failing this class. He's VERY helpful and VERY clear. Seriously recommended.

Excellent teacher. He makes everything make sense and is extremely laid back. Class isn't mandatory and he runs on a point-system. If you need help, just raise your hand. If your the type to sit and play on your phone, then no, he's not for you. You need to pay attention or else he'll just make the class hard for you.

I have taken Park for most of my classes @ Norco & he comes off arrogant and pompous but he has to be because of the students that spend the whole classes texting and talking. If you are bad at math as I am I suggest take Park, Rey or Prior. not in that order. Utlize Park's office hours for help. He is over the top a math geek but he also will help

took him during summer. He comes off like an ass, but he really cares about his students success. Do the homework,he has a point system and drops your lowest test score. he goes over the homework, if you have questions. Too bad he is not teaching Math 35. If you are someone who does not like math or get math, the is the BEST

I enjoyed the class and the teacher. He was up front and honest.

Mr.Park is very sarcastic and likes to joke around,but he is a good teacher, and he will help you anytime you have any problems with the homework or the quizzes. Do the homework assignments and show up everyday and pass the midterms and you should do well and pass his class.

He's a great teacher. Very sarcastic and likes to joke around with his students. Took Math 52 in the Spring 2012 after being out of HS for over 6 yrs and he made it very easy to pick up on. Will definitely take my future math classes from him

Park is very sarcastic but completely entertaining. He moves at a quick pace so you need to pay attention. I've always found it hard to pay attention to teachers who move at, what I consider, a glacial pace so I prefer Park's quicker rate. I took Math 52 Fall12 and will be taking Park for Math 35 in Spring13.

One of the best math professors I have had in my years of being in school, he makes the hard parts very easy and shows tricks to solve problems. Very funny and makes the class go by fast

I've never been a math person but he makes the class so easy to understand and keeps your attention by making jokes every single day, he cracks me up and I understood everything he taught. Made math simple. He does try to intimidate you in the beginning but that just made me pay more attention to make sure I didn't fall behind.

Park is a really funny guy and makes the class enjoyable. He will show you tricks to help you figure out tough problems. My only word of advice is to make sure you know the material. Just studying the textbook examples will not help you too much.

I read the comments, and I guess the saying "you can't please everyone" applies to this professor. From my personal experience, I can say that, apart from his crude (but highly laughable) humor, he is a great educator. Everything he has ever taught the class has been easy to understand. It helps a lot that he has his tricks for doing math.

Great teacher and this is coming from a D student. he made the lessons easy to understand but my problem was that I did not keep up with the homework since he gave us the option to turn it in at the end of each chapter. Very funny and kept you interested.

He makes math easy to understand. I want to be in his class for math 35! Math is not my fav subject but he makes it tolerable.

S Parks is a great teacher. He makes equations and questions easy to understand and gives great lectures. For our class, he did not give too many quizzes, it was just a lot of homework - which you should keep up with so that you can understand the following lectures. He's very funny and will most likely pick on you in class, so be prepared.

Professor Park is freaking hilarious. He makes such a boring subject fun to learn about. He's really good at finding ways to make the lessons more understandable. There's only a few quizzes and 3 major exams, including the final which IS NOT cummulative. Currently taking him again but this time for MAT 11. One of my fav professors yet!

He is very entertaining that is for sure. He uses life examples to make math more understandable which I happen to like. The lectures were very clear, but I will admit he can be a bit disorganized. He likes to joke a lot which makes class enjoyable and never a drag. I would take him again.

If you are reading this... TAKE HIS CLASS! I am NOT the best student OK but trust me when I tell you he is one of those teachers that u will look back on &regret not taking. He makes it too easy for you to pass it's crazy! I printed the book pages for hmwk all semester for less than $20 too! You cant beat the price or experience TAKE THIS CLASS:)!

Professor park is hilarious, but also an amazing teacher. He makes the lectures easy and gives practice tests that are a great guide for the test. Wish I could take him for all math classes!

Just do the homework and study for the test and you should pass. He goes over the material a lot so there is plenty of time to get the information you need. He also has a great sense of humor.

Prof. Park is a awesome teacher, he doesn't take attendance but if you miss a day you miss a lot. Quizzes are given but he lets you know what is on the quiz. Also gives out practice test which helps a lot. He grades everything by next class and grades are on engrade so you know what you have in class. Hw so book is required, don't wait ill last min

Took this class during the winter and it was fairly easy. He's really good at explaining everything, but he does move a little fast. Just make sure to keep up. Quizzes and exams are just like the homework, so make sure you do the homework everyday. He does not take attendance and he drops your lowest quiz and exam. He is a really funny guy.

Easy to pass this class. Gives out practice test before each test including the final. No pop quizzes, every quiz that is taken is written on the syllabus. Also, homework is very important as it could help your grade. Teaches about 2-3 chapters every class, but not very long chapters. TEST AND QUIZZES ARE LIKE THE HOMEWORK. Don't do hw last minute.

Great teacher, really good at explaining steps and processes. He's got a lot of energy and makes a lot of jokes, so the lectures never get old or boring. Gotta do the homework, but he's very avid about helping students that are having difficulties. Out of all the math professors I've had, he's my favorite.

He does not take attendance. His lectures were good made math easy to understand. He gives out practice test's before the test and they are really similar to each other, and they are multiple choice. The quizzes are usually 6 problems.

Mr. Park has an excellent ability to explain math in a real-world way and he is super funny. The amount of homework seems fair for a five unit class. Tests and quizzes are straight-forward and he prepares you for them IF you attend class and study! I will not take another math class with anyone else.

Great professor

prof park is awesome. super understanding & takes his time teaching so that everyone is the class understands. we didnt really use the book. the only things ur graded on are quizzes, in class assignments, & tests. so be sure to come to class bc u cant make anything up. overall a fantastic professor i highly recommend if u struggle w math

Prof Park was funny and made math semi interesting. Was late almost everyday but when he missed he would adjust the course accordingly. I took the hybrid class so most of the learning was done at home via videos on canvas. Met in class for 3 hrs a week to go over what we learned. Practice tests are supppper helpful!

I loved my experience w this professor. Hes so funny! There are quizzes,u should take notes (I had hybrid-you have to do the lesson b4 class to really understand what the lectures about), and he stayed after class w/ me to help me solve a problem on the HW. Take his classes!!! You wont regret it. If you hate math then have fun while learning.

Best math professor by far! Took the summer course and was super easy thanks to a great professor that takes time to explain any questions I had on the material. Super funny, inspirational, and caring. Take Professor Park for Math. Does not disappoint.

Had him for Mat 5 and taught it well considering that it was his first semester teaching it. Study guides were similar to tests and they were no more than 10 questions per exam.

I took him this Spring 2020 semester for College Algebra and before the pandemic, we were expected to come to class and do all the activities/quizzes/exams and once the COVID pandemic hit, I loved that the entire class went completely online (and self-taught) and the homework, exams, and quizzes were also online. Wonderful guy and very humorous.

This pandemic showed a lot of professors true colors. Its been a tough year and he understands that, yes for the most part you teach yourself, but hes very helpful if you have any questions! Passed with an A. PS you have to buy Pearson in order to do the assignments!!

Very helpful platform to work through Calculus. He also gave many chances on the homework, so a good grade is achievable even for those that arent strong at math. I am glad I chose this professor over the other two options in the district, his reviews are very accurate.

Mr. Park will make you work for your grade. very hard to get a hold of emailing him at least twice once on canvas email and once from your student email. Please mention disability if you have just to be safe always ask for more time Try your best to score high on HW/ Quizzes those points will help in the end. Good luck in this class!!

His class was in person and he would help clarify topics in the homework when asked to. Was more than happy to help. His class is through an online website which you do have to pay for and there is a lot of homework and quizzes but most of it isn't too hard but the class is time-consuming but also great as he is flexible with deadlines.
