He's super new and nice. His essays and assignments are extremely easy. Better to show up to class so you get an idea of what to do. Weekly short writing assignments only for particpation marks. Cuts his lectures short so you can leave early. Easy marker. only one essay, midterm and exam you have to do. TAKE THIS CLASS.

Not only is this course bad, but as is he. He acts as if everyone taking this liberal actually cares about the course. The assignments are too difficult and confusing, there are too many readings, and the course itself is EXTREMELY boring. He reads off slides, posts them days after lectures. Avoid this prof / course.

He's an okay lecturer, however I was expecting this class to be a lot more fun than it actually was. There is lots of assigned reading that does not relate to the assignments, class is often just him reading off slides and lots of work on stuff that doesn't even relate to the course. Spent lots of time talking about sports and nothing else.

He will literally make powerpoints about things that are not relevant to the course and then have a slide that says "Now on to what we actually need to know" ... I found this very frustrating because he's fully aware that he is going off topic and wasting our time. Marks hard, and made this course VERY difficult considering its a LOWER liberal. SOS

Pop Culture was a little too heavy on theory and not a lot of in depth discussion on real political and social issues/values, which would make it much more relevant and interesting. At times he got a little power trippy about phones in class. Some days felt really dense and rushed, but he also let us leave early lots and cut a few classes too.

He's a good professor but I'm pretty sure he just uses his sports class as a blueprint for all of this classes, because every single lecture he would say "if you've taken my sport class, you've heard this before." You basically have to read the entire textbook by the end of the semester. Podcast group assignment was absolutely ridiculous.
